July will be Clan ACID's 3rd anniversary and I can't think of a better way to celebrate than reviving the clan. To start with we'll have:- A new board with new features.
- A new team management system that meets the needs of next-gen gaming.
- And a Clan that has teams for both the 360 and PS3.
I know some of you can't stand change, but we've done everything we can to get things going again and nothing has worked. The best thing we can do now is leave the past here and start new.
I've already locked the other forums. You can still read your old post. I know some of you will want to transfer some of your old maps and strategies. But the only topic you can reply to is this one.
So pack your avatars and signatures and I'll see you at the new site.

Wow... I came back to see if we can get something started with MGO again, but...
Yeah I read everything. And I'm in kinda shock but at the same time, I had a feeling something like this was gonna happen. I would step up and say I will lead the MGO, but seeing now that ACID is stricly one sided of a console. I'm pretty sure the fights over with but I just wanted to say something now, even though its a bit late.
It's been fun playing with you guys at ACID. I will visit from time to time.
I might head over to FR, but I have been getting clan offers from other people from time to time. I guess I'll start again from the beginning just like I did back when MGO1 was out... before I was with you guys or Sec.9... a nomad. |

A few members have volunteered to get things going again. And since the majority of the members still around have a 360, they have asked to become a 360 only Clan. Focusing on one system might be a the only way to rebuild the clan. It will be difficult enough just on one system.
If we make this change that means saying goodbye to our PS3 members. But the fact is, those who have a PS3 have already joined other clans. In fact several former ACID members have already moved to Force Recon which is lead by former members of ACID.
I don't want this clan to completely disappear and it's been bleeding-out for a long time and there isn't much life left. I think the best thing would be to partner with Force Recon. They are up and running with teams and are lead by former members of ACID.
July will be year 3. If we don't do something it will be our last. So starting immediately ACID will be a competitive game clan on the Xbox 360.
I hope those who don't have a 360 will visit from time to time and I also hope you will support Force Recon. Teaming with them could double the size of our community. No one has gone out of their way to bring ACID back so don't complain about this. Something has to change.
