Setting up

[Emmeline Beau]

Emmeline stepped in front of her office door and stared up at the plate with her name on it. Just a few weeks ago she had stood at this same door and looked up at her fathers name. She put her hands on her back and sighed.

Who would have know pregnancy could be so painful? she thought to herself and looked back at her name. Emmeline smoothed down her prettydress and opened up the door. Stepping inside she looked around. It looked like a boring office, nothing to make it special. Whipping out her wand she started to redecorate.

[Headmistress Bellamont]

Caprice zoomed into Emmeline's office. She dusted off her sparkling black robes and stood up straight and tall. Her always serious face supported a sweet-ish smile as she walked over to where Emmeline was standing. "Hello Emmeline." She said as she looked her over, she noticed she had definitally grown since the last time they saw eachother.

[Emmeline Beau]

Emmeline smiled at Caprice. She rushed over and gave her a big hug. As a little girl, Caprice was one of the few people who had paid her attention when she was running around the ministry. It was an awkard hug because of Emmeline's big belly.

"How are you doing?" she asked and realized that Caprice probably hadn't known she was pregnant. Up until this month Emmeline hadn't shown any clue of being pregnant other than a bit of extra weight on her frame.

[Headmistress Bellamont]

"I'm fine dear, are you okay? Either you've let yourself go or else your having a baby!" She said a tad shocked. She knew for certian that Emmeline hadnt gotten married, if she had she would want a very good explination on why she wasnt invited.

Caprice let out of the hug, but left her hands on Emmelines shoulders.

Emmeline smiled as if to have a non-chalant attitude but in truth, she was still ashamed of what had happened. She rubbed her stomach gently through her pink sun dress and looked up at Caprice.

"Well I for sure haven't let myself go" she said laughing. "I still work out all the time" she said thinking of how she hadn't seen Caprice in a month. Since the funeral at where the doctors though Emmeline had lost the baby due to emotional strain.

[Headmistress Bellamont]

"Your having a baby?" She said as she looked a bit confused, not understanding why she didnt see this before. "But sweet, your not married? How did this happen?" She asked, sort of taking the motherly figure here.

[Emmeline Beau]

"Its quite a long story" she said and she smiled. Suddenly she felt her little one kick her. "Ouch" she said and stepped backwards to sit in the chair. "He or She loves to kick Mommy" she said and rubbed her stomach. Her doctor had said that it might calm the kicking for her to rub her stomach.

[Headmistress Bellamont]

Caprice went with her and sat in a chair beside her, "I've got time dear." She said, Caprice was always knowledge hungry and curious. Caprice smiled sweetly to Emmeline, she thought that she was so young to have both of these huge responsibilities: mother and mistress of magic.

[Emmeline Beau]

"Well, its no secret to anyone that I used to party and stuff" she said slowly to Caprice. She was still rubbing her stomach to try to keep the little one from kicking so hard.

"Well, one particular night I didn't get very drunk. I only had one beer but it turns out someone slipped a date rape drug in my drink. And well, here I am seven months later" she finished and looked down at her stomach.

[Headmistress Bellamont]

"Oh dear.." Caprice said. "I always worried about that. Did your father know?" She asked wondering if Emmeline had told him before he passed, she doubted he did since by knowing her father he would have been furious and would have died on the spot because of a heart attack.

[Emmeline Beau]

"No, he didn't know. You saw me at his funeral, it was easy to hide my growing body. As long as I wasn't running around in belly baring shirts, I was fine" she said and smiled. She couldn't tell if Caprice approved of it or not yet but she hoped she didn't think Emmeline was too young to have a child.

[Headmistress Bellamont]

"Ah, well then i suppose he died peacefully." She said with a smile and a wink. "When's the baby due?" She asked as she looked at Emmelines stomach, she was definitally filling out, it couldnt be much longer before the baby should be born.

[Emmeline Beau]

Emmeline smiled at thought about how close she was. "I'm 32 weeks today, my due date is October 3." She rolled her eyes. "Dad would have died if I had told him I was pregnant. He'd go off the deep end" she said and thought about how true it was.

[Headmistress Bellamont]

"Oh well thats not long! I assume your ready for this baby? If you arent I'd be glad to lend a hand." She said sincerly. She had always adored Emmeline, and would do anything to help.

[Emmeline Beau]

"I'm ready. Its just everywhere I go, everyone thinks I'm too young to have a child. Too young to raise him or her, too young to be Mistress of Magic, too young to do anything" she said frustrated and felt the baby start to kick.
