How Classes Are Run, For Professors and Students at Hogwarts

Headmistress Caprice Bellamont Group: Headmistress Posts: 32 Member No.: 1 Joined: 22-July 05	How Classes Are Run - Classes will start as soon as the new school year begins. Professors will post their classes up having a different class for each year. Forth year students will go to the topic that says that it is the lesson for forth years, just like the seventh years will go to the topic that says it is for seventh years. - The professors are to make up their own topics for their lessons although they must go along with what they are teaching. A potions teacher cannot teach a charm, only potions. - Professors may post homework, although I wouldnt make it too difficult as some students wont want to do it if its too hard. Homework is optional. I know all of you have lives and since you real life school will be starting shortly you wont have near as much time to do work and homework will pile up. - Classes are mandatory to attend. You may splinch. This is the only occasion, besides the OOC section, where you may be in two places at once. This does not mean however that you may be at the gardens and in Defense Against the Dark Arts. This means you may be in a Charms class and a Divination class at the same time. It would take forever if you were only allowed to be in one class at a time and we want you to be able to do things other than classwork. - Students, if you do not attend classes you will be reciving a letter. The letter will not be harsh the first time, it will only be telling you that you have missed classes. It is hard work being a professor and they take their own time in planning the lessons. We expect you to respect them and to go and visit their classes. - Classes will last two or three days. We don't want it to get boring for you. Professors please try and make the lessons exciting, students are known to get up and leave the roleplay if its boring or goes on till the end of time. These are the rules for now. There will most likely be more added before the school year begins. We are strongly urging people to make more than one character and to make at least one of those characters a professor. You of course, will have to ask me before making one so that I know you will be deticated to this school. We are also asking for those of you who have not made a character yet and are wishing to make a student that we are in need of Ravenclaws since we have none, and Hufflepuffs are in need also.
