Getting away from Tom

[Anna Granger]

Anna finally found a place where she wouldnt have Tom following her. Tom was a great twin, he was kind, smart, and intrested in the same things she was...but it just got annoying after a while. Anna had made the excuse that she had to go to the girls room and that he could go and shop more and she would catch up with him later. He agreed much to Anna's suprise and left to go and get quills.

As soon as Anna walked in she went to her favorite part of the whole shop, custard-colored Puffskeins. She loved them and always wanted one, but money was low and if she didnt truly need it she didnt get it. She had an owl, but honestly, they arent very fun. Anna stood for a while playing with the Puffskeins and then moved to walk around and visit with the ravens.

[Henrî Livingston]

Henrî walked into the pet store, he was just looking around. He looked over at the ravens and stood a few feet back from their cage and watched them carefully before going over to a ginger cat and petting it. He noticed a litter of kittens nearby and saw them play around from the corners of his eyes. He continued to pet the cat however, and wished to himself he could purchase it.

Anna glanced up to see who entered when she heard the bell ding. She saw a boy but didnt keep her eyes on him for long. She focused her attention on the ravens, she always thought a red one would be lovely. She looked again at the boy who was looking at cats now. If he wanted to talk to her he would. Anna stuck her fingers carefully up to the side of the cage so that she could try and pet the bird.

[Henrî Livingston]

Henrî blinked as he noticed her look his way. He walked over to the ravens once more to check the price on one. "Fascinating birds, aren't they?" He said to her as he looked at one. Geez, they didn't come cheap. His mother would never say yes. He shook his head in defeat.

[Anna Granger]

Anna looked up at the boy. He looked about her age, or older. "Yeah, but they are bloody mean." She said as one started flapping its wings and trying to bite her finger. Anna then turned to him. "I'm Anna Granger." She said with a soft smile.

[Henrî Livingston]

"Yeah, they can do some real damage." Henrî said, not realizing the ginger cat he had been petting was now sitting on his head. "I'm Henrî Livingston. It's a pleasure." He watched her a bit nervously, that raven didn't look happy.

[Anna Granger]

Anna looked at him and smiled in a sort of 'hello' way. "So will you be going to Hogwarts this year? I am a Ravenclaw 5th year." She said as she looked at the cat that had invited himself to get on Henrî's head. Anna picked it off, which was a little hard since he was taller than her. Anna held the cat in her arms and pet its head. The kitten was much better company than the raven.

[Henrî Livingston]

Henrî blinked as he realized there had been a cat on his head. "Thank you for taking it off my head. And I'll be in Gryffindor this year. Fifth year as well." He smiled back somewhat shyly. He looked at the ginger cat. "Your hair matches." He said, motioning to the cat.

[Anna Granger]

Anna smiled, "Your welcome." She repied to his thanks. "Yeah, It does." She answered looking down at the cat, it did oddly look the same as her hair. Anna didnt really get involved in social situations and so she came off as shy and anti-social when people first met her, and then they would leave and not even give her a chance.

[Henrî Livingston]

"So, do you have any pets?" He asked, scratching the kitten behind the ears. He wasn't very social, but he was trying a little harder than normal to be nice. He wondered to himself about his new owl. His eyes looked glazed and he realized he'd been staring at the cat for a while. "Woops, sorry."

[Anna Granger]

"A Tawny owl, but thats all. Do you have any?" She asked as she ran her fingers down the cats soft back.

[Henrî Livingston]

The cat purred contentedly as Henrî spoke. "Just a snowy owl, though my mother has an older owl as well. I would prefer a cat though..." He looked down at the cat, who looked about ready to drift off in Anna's arms.

[Anna Granger]

"Well then you should get one, this one seems to like you." She said as she adjusted the cat who was slipping.

[Henrî Livingston]

"I would, but I only have enough for school supplies..." He said, petting the cat gently. "So, do you like Hogwarts?" He asked, a tad out of the blue.

[Anna Granger]

Anna felt the same way, "I like it, theres always something going on." She said as she sighed lightly, "What about you?"
