Punishment class gravitic destroyer

The Punishment class gravitic destroyer had been designed as part of the usual drive to create an indigenous Allanean navy that would regardless fit the international standards of naval composition and combat. However, it also has capabilities that normal destroyers are not supposed to have – both due to the excessive firepower normally demonstrated by Allanean design, and due to the sheer insanity of Allaneans – for example, in athmosphere the gravitic drive functions as a set of immense loudspeakers.

One key new defense of the ship is the Nova Nanoassembler Suite. Inspired [but not copied from, as Allaneans have no access to the technologies] by the nanoassemblers used by the Uploaded Minds, the Allanean system regenerates and maintains the craft if it is hit by enemy fire, albeit slowly. This takes place, even if the crew are all dead and the craft is drifting in space. Rumour has it that Allaneans are planning to create a smaller and faster-acting system for ground combat drones, but the United States Stellar Navy so far is 'refusing to comment on the situation'.
