Little is known of Cassiopeia Blaken's life before she enrolled in, and graduated with distinction from, the Concord University's Department of Thaumaturgy (dual-major with Archaeology), proceeding for a fast-track Ph.D. In necromancy. Generally speaking, Concord University has a policy of not hiring its own doctorate graduates as professors, but exceptions are made for certain gifted individuals. Blaken is such an individual.
