Ah yes! Another Deathnote fan! I love Deathnote, it's also my favorite manga, the people in it are brilliant! It's cool.

i heard about through an anime podcast. i liked the story line and went to Barnes and Noble to read it. i got hooked. i own all the manga out now. i wont download it because i want the hard copies so bad. no spoilers for me. Light's hair reminds me of my uncle's and the way L sits is so cool. and its kinda nice to talk another Deathnote fan especially a girl because most of the girls ive met who like anime/manga dont like this genre.

My friend showed it to me, and I though that it was really cool. So of course I only have four right now, and I don't want to download it either. xD I wish that it didn't take so long for it to come out... And yeah, I've never seen another girl talk about Deathnote, maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. =P

well Deathnote is a more gothic style manga and most girls arent really into that they are more into shojo mangas or romance. but the girl i know who likes it is really into shonen style or action and doesnt really like shojo at all.

Deathnote, Full Metal, and FLCL are the only mangas I've ever read, I've never heard of Shojo...

ive read quite a lot. Deathnote, Pastel, Eyeshield 21, DN Angel, Fruits Basket, Hikaru No Go, Ichigo 100%, Hellsing, Naruto, FMA, Great Teacher Onizuka, Cowboy Bebop, Genshiken, Gacha Gacha, Love Hina, Kare Kano, and a few others i cant remember. shojo is a manga style geared toward girls which has more romance rather than action. i personally dont care but i like romance/comedy or just plain comedy.

the place with the best manga collection is Borders they have a lot. i tend to just go there sit down on the floor and read the really good ones.

yuhu i'm another deathnote fan! glad to meet others! ^^
what number is the manga now in your place?
in my country (indonesia), it has only reached number 8, guess deathnote took long to be translated, since it got so many texts and conversations...XD

anyway, i really like it b'cos it really makes me think a lot - not such a simple story, a real complicated one indeed, and this manga's the one which cannot be said to like: "Stop reading comics! Won't get you any smart!"

Deathnote sure will make you smart if you read it carefully....happy.gif
