What has happened to Christians?
What has happened to friendship?
Is there anything of any consequence that even BEGINS to show the Love of God in reality in this day??
Everyone is so very focused on the things that revolve around their own lives. It is only those things that concern THEM, not even the things that are important to their friends, let alone God.

More and more I am being convinced we know NOTHING.

We know NOTHING about what it means to walk in love.
We know NOTHING about what it means be a friend.
We know NOTHING about what it means to be concerned about the things on God's heart.

And we have removed ourselves so far from God that we don't even recognize WHO and WHAT He is when HE DOES show Himself in and through His people. We almost NEVER see His presence and His Glory is so very distant from us that IF He were to show up in His GLORY, at best we would all fall on our faces as dead men; some of us (if not most of us) would actually DIE!

I find I am no better than anyone else. I too, have left the Lord. We have all become so very complacent, so very compromised with the world and we make all of these excuses for ourselves so that we might have our God and our world at the same time; so we think.

Yet the scriptures tells us that anyone who is double-minded will not receive ANYTHING from God. We are also told that we are to have an UNDIVIDED HEART, totally sold out to Jesus Christ, JUST LIKE JESUS was sold our to Father God.

Have we read John 17 lately? For that matter, have we read John 14-17, seen how we are supposed to be living and experiencing the Lord and actually do so in this day?

I KNOW what the answer would be from the vast majority of even those who claim to be HIS Disciples.

For all of those who claim to be my friend, it is funny how I never hear from them. Even when I have sent out emails asking how they are doing, few respond. They are all caught up in their own lives and what they are invovled in. There is little friendship between them. It is a selfishness that exists throughout the world in this day and had even permeated the Church, in the same way yeast permeates dough. There is NO PART that is unaffected by this selfish self-centeredness.

I find I must put a stop to everything I am involved in. I cannot write, I cannot contact, I cannot have fellowship, I cannot teach, I can do NOTHING until this is all resolved.

Because He has opened my eyes to His Truth, does NOT mean I am exempt. No, I begin to see even more clearly my own faults, my own failings. >>>>>

Do you see? Can you understand? Are any of us willing to cease looking at ourselves without any facade, honestly and receive the judgment and correction of the Lord about our own lives?

Only when we can do this, only when He has removed the iniquity from our lives, only when we Enter His Rest and CEASE from ALL WORK and the Very life of Jesus Christ manifests itself in and through our own lives, will we be able to see clearly. We will have had the beam removed from our own eyes so that we might remove the splinter from our brother or sister's eyes.

Only when we are concerned EXCLUSIVELY with what God thinks, says and wants done in and through our lives, can we be honest enough to speak His words and His heart to the people of this world.

And they will be afraid. They may be drawn to the Love, but they WILL be afraid of the Judgment and MOST will flee from the correction, ALWAYS desiring that they might see themselves as good, never knowing or understanding that we can NEVER be good, we can NEVER be right ourselves. Only HE is Good, and Right, and Perfect, and Holy, and Righteous, and Pure! He will cause us to live in that manner WHEN we cease promoting ourselves and allow Him to put us to death.

But what passes for Christianity today EVEN AMONGST THOSE who claim to be dedicated Disciples of Jesus Christ, is so very far from what we read about in Acts, that we must wonder that God has not utterly destroyed us once more in order to raise up a people who WILL INDEED walk in Righteousness, Peace, & Joy in the Holy Spirit and worship God TRULY in Spirit and in Truth. That we would see and hear the Lord on a daily basis as they did.

But we are once more in a famine of the Word of God and have been for many years.

I am ashamed my Lord. For though You have aloowed me to see some things, I have not given You my all as I should have. I do not care what others think or say about me. Those who live with me have told me they see the Lord. I know You speak to me and place Your impressions in my heart. They can see God's glory rising up in my life. Hi slife is not always visable, but often enough that Linda has said that I am the most spiritual person she has known.

Please, I am NOT bragging on me. ALL of this comes NOT from things I have done, but what HE has done in me. ALL I have done, is empty myself, lay down my ways, my thoughts, my ideas, my understandings, my RIGHTS!. Not enough it seems as He is showing me more and more that must leave my life.

But until these things are accomplished, how can I say anything to anyone knowing I need what I am saying just as much (if not more) than those I am speaking to?

There is so much more I could say, yet anyone who REALLY Understands these things, would not need it. And anyone who does not understand (even those who think they do, but find fault in me) would not gain any understanding from my continued writing here.

It takes DIRECT REVELATION from the Lord to understand these things. No amount of study, not amount of prayer, no amount of reading, no amount of anything we DO will even allow us to understand these things I speak of. They are ONLY SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED and human reasoning will never figure it out nor discover it on it's own. Only when we stop and come to the Lord as a little Child, KNOWING we can do NOTHING that will ever be helpful in the least, will we BEGIN to be taught by Him.

There may be some reading these words that may think something negative about what I have said. It doesn't matter what YOU think. What matters is, what has God done; in my life and in your life. For we can do nothing; absolutely nothing.

As long as we continue to think there is something we can do or must do in order to become the people God desires, we are heading the wrong direction. It is ALL received by FAITH ALONE, never by what we do.

And we will NEVER be full of the Holy Spirit or God or Jesus, until we are EMPTY of ourseles and find ourselves totally bankrupt, requiring Him to do just to continue to live.

These last few blogs have all been about the same thing. However, some things are becoming clearer. I cannot explain. In order to be raised up, we must first find the bottom and never consider ourselves any better than deserving that bottom. Only then, will we be humble enough to WALK, Just Like Jesus!

Hi Dirk. Long time, no see. Like you, I've bottomed out too, and now believe that this has been in Yahovah and Yah-shuas will. In fact I am now totally convinced that brokenness is the way to connect with our Eloihem, with our God.

Strait is the gate and narrow is the way. The word translated here as "narrow" is the Greek word thilbo which means "to crowd; afflict, narrow, to suffer tribulation or trouble". i.e. leading to brokenness.

If SELF is on the throne of my life, and I want to know God and do exploits, then I must either choose to abdicate, if I recognise the problem, or else be confronted with the problem by having my will exposed, to let me see that Self is on the throne of my life and handicapping me from ever living my dreams.

Similarly, if I am dysfunctional mentally, emotionally, socially, maritally, sexually, financially, or spiritually and have to hide all this behind masks of pretence or behind walls of defence, here too I must realise that my Eloihem cannot and will not fellowship with the false self that I come to Church with, that false self that hides who I really am. This is akin to Adam and Eve hiding behind their fig-leaves, and leaves us outside the garden of fellowship with God.

Another area that needs to be addressed on the path of brokenness is the area of our wrong beliefs of what Gods Word says and means. Say I believe that the tithe is to put my 10% into the Church offering plate, and keep asking God for financial success, I must first fail financially by being "to crowd; afflict, narrow, to suffer tribulation or trouble". i.e. leading to brokenness financially.
This is so that I can examine their Word and find out just what it says. Then and only then can I find that my recipe for success has been setting me up for failure financially, and for God to have blessed me for doing so, would have perpetuated the hoax that it was their will and way.

The true Tithe is having a feast in Gods Presence for years one and two, and then to take our tithe to the local stroehouse in year three, not to pay salaries, mortgagees and Church expenses, but to provide for the widows, orphans, Jews and Israelites from foreign countries visititng Yahrusalem, and also to provide for the true Levites, who aren't in todays Churches.

King David once said "Who can ascend the hill of the Lord and who can stand in his holy place (in the Holy of Holies)?" He who has clean hands and a pure heart.

The word here translated as "heart" means our feelings, will and intellect, or our mind, will and emotions.
Thus the answer to Davids question of Who can enter Gods presence? is this Or he who has cleansed hands and a pure heart. He who has cleansed hands and a purged and purified mind, will and emotions.

Many years ago I heard the parable of the Monarch butterfly. The Speaker related how the of the lifecycle of the Monarch butterfly is like that of our Christian lives. First an egg, then a butterfly, then our cocoon experience and finally a butterfly.
To cut a long story short, he asked who was at the egg stage of their Christian life? no hands.
Who is at the caterpillar stage? no hands.
Who is at the cacoon stage? Everyone puts up a hand.
At the butterfly stage? Not one hand went up, not even his own.

Why is it that we Christians are stuck in our cocoon stages of our spiritual lives? Romans 12:2 has the answer. be not conformed even to those in your Church worlds, but instead be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you can know Gods good, pleasing and perfect will for your life.

But instead of allowing this "renewing of our minds" by the washings of the Word, we instead conformed to those in our Church worlds instead, looking to them for what to believe, eg the traditional tithe, and for what to be, do, say, pray and have. But then we had to conform to all that, to gain their filio love or friendship and also their acceptance, approval, recognition and reward.

The word translated as "transformed" is the Greek word "metamorpho". We are metamorphosed by the renewing of our minds.

So much of what we were taught to believe at Church, as being the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, has been recipes for success that has set us up for failure. Be it healing, praying in the name of Jesus, tithing, prosperity doctrines etc and etc adinfinitum, we must be made to realise through failure and brokenness what works and what doesn't.

JB Phillips, when he was translating his NT, had a plaque on his desk which said "If we are to believe what yah-shua and his Disciples achieved, then we must first believe what they believed". And very little of what we have all believed ever helped us achieve what Yah-shua and his disciples achieved. Thus the critical need for our minds to be renewed.

If we want to finish our race and win the prize, then we must be metamorphosed by the renewing of our minds so that we can have all of our powerless religious and traditional thinking replaced with truthes that can and will set us free.

Clean hands and a purged and purified mind, will and emotions.

-Cleansed hands. No sin.
-Purged and purified mind. metamorphosed by the renewing of our minds.
-Purged and purified will. Self off the throne of our lives.
-Purged and purified emotions. As Shrek said, "We Ogres are like onions, and have layers". Well, those layers have to come off so that we no longer need to hide. We need to revisit all of our emotional woundings and areas of dysfunctionality mentally, emotionally, socially, maritally, sexually, financially, physically and spiritually so that we can experience being set free, restored and made whole.

Clean hands and a pure heart. Yah-shua said "The pure in heart shall see their Eloihem". The pure in heart shall see God.

If your desire is to know God and do exploits, then we must meet our Maker, and first know him as Yahovah Raphah, Yahovah my healer or Yah-shua my healer. This will help end our cocoon stages by allowing our hearts to become purged and purified by the renewing of our minds, wills and emotions.
