Title: sons/bride and tares
2lights - September 10, 2005 05:59 PM (GMT)
Hi all,
It looks like what I wrote is in my personal message area, not real computer
knowledgable.
Anyway, was wondering if anyone id's with Paul's experience of the Son being
revealed within. Gal. 1:15 and 16!
Also, got a letter from sister from Canada that had a very interesting paragraph
in it about God separating the tares from the wheat right now. God gave me a
word in a meeting about the threshing floor about 13 yrs. ago. But anyway, I
think, well, we all know something more evident is going on now. Thing that was
so interesting to me was, she said, "the tares are the religious"! I thought YES!
It must be.
Let me know anything you want to add?!

Dear 2lights,
Thank you so much for this posting, and you are very correct, there is a separating occuring.
I posted a vision I had in another place on the forum, but I would like to copy it here as it speaks EXACTLY what you are saying.
Picture a fence, running from the North to the South of America, in the region of the Great Plains. This fence is like a common chain link fence with razor wire on top. (Nobody is sitting on this fence!)
As the fence line moves South from the region near Canada, it begins twisting back and forth East and West in no particular pattern. Sometimes it moves East for 100 miles, moves back West for 10, then continues to move East for another 100 or 2. Sometimes it does something similar moving toward the West. Sometimes it is more even in moving East and West and others as above.
Back when I had this vision, the Lord told me that an earthquake was going to happen along the fence line. It had started to rumble even back then. When the earthquake actually moves, the ground will open up along the fence line and will resemble something LIKE the Grand Canyon when it is done.
Now, there are also people on both sides of the fence. I was told those on the right are True Christians and those on the left are unsaved. As the earth began to rumble, and even more so when it moves, as it is now, these people are moving. Some toward and some away from the fence, on both sides of the fence. The Lord showed me that as people moved East, their behavior became more like Jesus, while as they moved West, they became more like the devil.
If you can picture this, because of the unevenness of the fence moving both East and West, there will be unsaved people who look more like Jesus than some true Christians.
However, as I stated earlier, NO ONE can really straddle this fence. When this earthquake really begins to move and the earth opens up around the fence line, many on BOTH SIDES of the fence will be destroyed by this earthquake. Any who are trying to cling to the fence will definitely be killed! Notice again, there ARE many Christians who will be clinging to the fence!
The ONLY safe place is becoming like Jesus Christ. It is these people who have committed themselves utterly to the Lord and will go wherever He wills and they walk just like Jesus on this earth. As I said, when this earthquake is finished, the fence line will be similar to the Grand Canyon. EVERYONE KNOWS on which side of the Grand Canyon they are on!
There will be no doubt as to WHO the Christians really are, and just as clearly, there will be no doubt as to WHO is unsaved, for there WILL be a great gulf between their behaviors!
END OF VISION
My Friends, forgive my poor explanation of this glorious scene the Lord gave me. Many times, it is very difficult to convey a visual scene with just words. I pray that you will truly ask the Lord to help you to see what I refer to and that He might give you understanding in this area.
As far as the idea of the Son being revealed in us, I believe that IS what is happening in many who are seeking HIM. I see this going in my own life, in my wife, Linda, in several others I know including some on this website, Debbi and her husband Rich, Cathy and others as well. It seems as though we have our own little body of the remnant on this site.
What do I believe this revealing of the Son means? I believe as it says in
1Jo 2:6 Whoever says he abides in Him ought [as a personal debt] to walk and conduct himself in the same way in which He walked and conducted Himself.
However, we should note that this IS an impossibility in our own strength. It will ONLY occur as we die and HE is resurrected within us. The old nature being completely replaced by His NEW nature, just as it says in II Cor 5:17.
May we embrace this and allow the Lord to make it real within us. REMEMBER THIS>>> the ONLY reason we fail in the things of the Lord is because we DO NOT BELIEVE what He says! When we say, I don't believe it, is when we fail! When we begin to TRULY BELIEVE, then we WILL see the Victory, which IS Jesus Christ, manifested in our lives!
God Bless you all!

Amen Brother Dirk,
The Lord is raising up a remnant those who seek Him with all their heart, mind, and soul. I know I speak that verse alot. But it is truth, if we do not seek Him we will not find Him or His truth. If we also do not seek His face how can we believe what He will do. "You have not because you ask not." This is a very true statement. People need to see Jesus in us in all areas of our lives not just Sunday morning. Yes 2lights He is separting the tares from the wheat. Yes we are to die to self if we want to live for Christ, we must die to self!!!! There is no other way I believe. I believe in the days to come we will see who the true followers of Christ are. Thank-you for the thread 2lights.
Love ya Debbi, a warrior for Christ. B)

Hi everyone, I nearly missed this little gem. All these web sites are a little different one from another...kind of like us people...we have to work our way through things ;)
There are so many things to consider...wheat...tares...Bride...remnant...the Woman...the Beast...the overcomers...the Two Witnesses, whew! The Lord allowed me to start out in religion, where I acquired nice, manageable "boxes", in which everything concernning the end-times could be neatly compartmentalized. I had lots of answers...but not a lot of LIFE. Then he removed me from my "religion"...purged me from my self-righteousness...blew up all my "boxes"...and started me on the road to walking in LIFE. :D
First of all, I backed off from trying to figure everything out and have "all the answers", since HE made it obvious that "I didn't". For a long time I completely avoided those subjects. Every Church...group...whatever, thinks they have the answers. Everyone is sure that "they" are the remnant. That obviously can't be correct, since a "remnant" is a small number.
I am grateful for the fellowship that God has allowed me to find on-line. (The last place I expected). We are all being processed by the Spirit...as we submit to the Spirit our vision is being changed, our thoughts altered, our desires replaced, and we are being molded into vessels that God can use. In my own life, I am seeing the fulfillment of the Word in many ways.
Luke 12:51-53 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
There is undeniably a separating taking place. Within families it is especially painful. Mat 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
That is a hard one for all of us. We have experienced separation in our own respective families. Not just in distance...but in ideology. When we are true to what the Spirit is showing us...it is not always warmly received by those whom we have been closest to. Especially when it is not in agreement with what they have chosen to believe.
Joh 7:43 So there was a division among the people because of him.
It is one thing to accept this division when it is concerning blatantly false doctrines and practices adhered to by strangers...it is more difficult when it gets into the very fiber of our own family. Yet there is no distinction. These verses have given us ample warning that these things would happen. So again, we must make the choice...who will we obey? Separation is most definately taking place all around us.
I've heard a number of different people using the story of Gideon as an example, which fits in so many ways. The Lord kept reducing the number of volunteers. Narrowing the criteria of qualification. Bringing it down to the realm of impossibility in the natural (strength & ways of man), until only a fraction were left of the original number. Then, they went forth without any of the accepted weapons of war. In one hand they had a trumpet and in the other a lamp. "Not by might, nor by power, but my my SPIRIT, sayeth the LORD!!!!
The Lord told us personally, a few years ago, that confusion was covering the people...and that we were to be kind, but remain separate. I believe that this is pertinent to all of His own. We are seeing the fulfillment of prophecy on our television screens. We are experiencing division in our relationships. We cannot judge by the "seeing of the eye and the hearing of the ear"...but must place all of our trust and confidence in the LORD, and be led in all things by the HOLY SPIRIT. This is just the beginning! It is going to get much worse. We cannot succumb to the fears of men...for our faith rests in the MOST HIGH GOD. These things must come to pass...
Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
1Jo 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
I am in total agreement with all that each one of you have shared. And pray that we may continue to exhort, build up, and encourage one another as the darkness of this world increases. Remembering that we are "in the world, but not of the world".
God Bless you all,
Cathy

AMEN, Cathy.
As far as I am concerned, some of the things you refered to is why this forum is here. I was speaking with a young man this morning online. He is from the Phillipines and was strugling with certain sins.
First, he know that I would not condemn but I would not agree with the sin either. Then he was willing to listen and seek the Lord on the matter. So I gave him this site along with Enter His Rest and George Delo's site. Between the 3 of them, I believe he will be able to find the answers he seeks.
Notice>>> It was not my lifting up my ideas but sent him seeking Jesus using the avenues of specific forums that also point to Jesus. I have no answers. ONLY THE LORD can bring TRUE DELIVERANCE. As I told him, I am just a messenger.
One thing I have found to be true after so many years in Christ. It is only as we humble ourselves, recognize that we do NOT have the answers and are willing to be wrong about EVERYTHING (except Jesus as the only way of course) that we really begin to have the eyes of our understanding opened. I prayed for many years those prayers that Paul wrote in Ephesians and Philipeans and Colossians. Yet it was NOT until I laid down my preconceived ntions and ideas about what I thought was correct that He began to teach me HIS WAYS.
Now I can truly say that I see so many passages in the Bible that I had no tue understanding of before. Everywhere LInda and I read in the scriptures we see the REQUIREMENT for HOLINESS, PURITY, RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND GODLINESS, that can ONLY come by faith. But it MUST be a practical, experiential reality in our lives for it to do us any good at all.
I see that Jesus walked on this earth without sin. Then He stated that He glorified the Father because of the way He lived. My friends, we are to do the very same thing! BUT it will NEVER come from striving, from controlled behavior, or any of our own abilities. It will ONLY come by Faith in HIM, and then it will become a living reality in our lives, for everyone to see.
When we begin to actually live in this manner, then Isaiah 60:1-3 will begin to come to pass on this earth.
No Cathy, it is not pleasant when our own family turns away from these truths. Linda and I have 4 kids and out or them only 2 are doing anything with the Lord. One of those appears to be steeped in religiosity rather than the living Christianity that we speak of here. Neither will that one speak of these things with us any longer. It has been very hard to let them all go. We had to let 1 go a few yrs agao, but we still kept a portion of our lives invested in her. This spring, we had to tell her she was not saved. She did not like that at all and does not want to hear anything any more.
We have let go another and it seems there is only one at this time that we can talk to about the deep things of God and what is coming. It grieves our hearts because in order to follow after God, we have to let them go. The world, in fact, most Christians, find this unacceptable. Yet as those verses you posted say, the Lord will bring division and we must follow Him no matter WHAT it costs.
My desire here is that we point people to Jesus. Not who we are, nor what we do. I would rather have a discussion with someone and point them to Jesus and have them find HIM on their own, than have them accept what I say without question.
DO not believe us. Check out what we say. Search the scriptures to see if they say what we say. THEN, IF THEY DO, you may imitate us ONLY as we IMITATE HIM! The rest of it is just word, hay, and stubble and will be burned up anyway.
I guess I have rambled enough. God bless you all

Amen from me too Cathy,
You mentioned judging by the spirit. Wondering if we're all familiar with the 7-fold
spirit from the throne of God. One of them is judgement, interesting a!
I've experienced that more than once. We used to attend the board meeting where we live. It's one of those places with gates and guards, never liked the idea
of being here, but here we are. Anyway God told me years ago that He was going
to show me they (actually it was all those in "ministry" at the time) were greedy from the greatest to the least. Wow, did He ever!
Anyway He allowed that mantle (of judgement) to come on me and I felt like a lawyer. lol Some
wondered if I had been a judge and accused me of being in cahoots with a woman
here who was!
I love God's authority.
Another thing interesting is how He can show us someone's heart and they don't
even realize themselves what is in there, sometimes!
After what I've read here I'm going to step out and share a little more.
There is a company of believers, My remnant, they are scattered far and wide.
They are hidden in Me. They are being purified from the fleshly systems of this
world which includes the whole political system and all their so called churches.
Synagogues of satan really, turning people into 2-fole the child of hell.
But, these chosen ones have heard the call to come apart and join Me in the wilderness. They have answered the call to follow me wither-so-ever and have
been willing to forsake All.
That word ALL is thru-out My Word. I have put it in their hearts to desire ALL of Me. And they are already tasting of what it means to forsake All!
These chosen ones will understand fully what is meant by "who is my mother, who
is my brother. but he who does the will of God!
Do not fear.
With You, My Remnant, I will lead All of captivity free.
Like Moses, you will say I am THAT I AM
Who is ready to reign with Me
will surely set creation free!
For those with ears to hear and those who are even now growing them
Love, from one who's been in the fire for years, His consuming fire

Praise JESUS
Just a couple of thoughts about the Lords remnant or seperated ones. We must truely be as Him if we are to serve as the catlyst for freeing the captives from their religous prisons. We must seek truth pray for discernment of truth and not shrink from speaking truth. All truth is from God outside of God there is no truth.
We must realise that this is a war. That means that as good soldiers we need be obedient, disciplined willing to work as a unit and willing to die for Him. We should be dead to the flesh which means no selfish ambitions . Only Jesus matters.
I am watching a case right now where a friend of ours is strugling with who he loves more God or wife. i am very blessed in that i dont have that struggle as my wife and i are of one flesh when it comes to serving Jesus. i do however know the pain of having a child on the wrong side of that fence.
Well must go God bless everyone

Praise God for the serious people I've come across on this site!
I felt my last reply would "tell the tale" so to speak. I would get
thrown off or what I said would be considered!
It looks like this is one where people are not playing games and are
going on in God.
Also, thank God that the work He started He promises to finish.
As a leopard cannot change his spots, neither can the bride remove her's
without that personal touch of the Lord. Knowing Him is life eternal and
knowing Him is what changes us into His image. Glory to God.
So glad you mentioned not shrinking from Truth!
I think that is So important. I've spent some years wondering how people
seemingly don't even want to know truth, reminds me of that scriture, "stop
holding up to us the Holy One on Israel". Anyway, from all the falling away
I've seen over the years, I've spent a lot of meditating on what it all means.
I cannot believe that everyone I've known has received the "spirit of Truth" .
I just cannot see how one could have the spirit of truth and totally lack discernment. Nor can I understand why they would so consistently hang on to
man's dead doctrines that make the word of God of no effect AND RESIST Truth.
Wouldn't they embrace it, eventually even!!!!!!! It seems that they've all gone
to their own quarter, as His word says they would! I'm speaking only of some I've
known for years and years.
But, then on a more positive vein, I know God is working all out to His good pleasure. He has even shown me 1 who will be bright with His glory one day and
this one whom I've known for over 25 yrs. and wondered off and on if she were
just putting me on (pretending). I was very happy to see that.
Wow, God's school is something else, isn't it!!!
Bondslavenchrist - September 17, 2005 03:52 AM (GMT)
Dear 2lights,
(Please make sure you are signed in before you post, ok?)
Now, that said. Yes, most of the people I know on this forum are quite real and very serious. Otherwise, they would not hang around where I post. I have been told that I am TOO serious because I am always talking about dying, perfection, holiness, purity, NOT SINNING, and righteousness, AND I rarely will allow myself to play games where God in concerned.
Most people just don't like that. They tell me to lighten up. I wonder what they will say to God when they stand before the Throne?
If we together will TRULY seek His Kingdom and His righteousness to the point of LAYING DOWN EVERYTHING that is NOT JESUS and ONLY picking up those things that HE SPECIFICALLY tells us to pick, I think we all will find that a brand new, radical form of Christianity will come forth. One where those who believe ACTUALLY LIVE JUST LIKE JESUS. (isn't that what I John 2:6 says, if we abide in Him we will walk just like Him?)
In any case, let us look to Him, allow ouselves to decreas so that HE might increase to the point where II Cor 5:17 becomes and reality in our lives, as well as Gal 2:20.
We are NOT here to play games or be entertained. We are not here to have a wonderful message proclaimed that makes us feel good about ourselves. If any thing, we are here to learn how awful we truly are so that we can come to the place of repentace from ourselves, leading to the death on the cross and the resurrection of the TRUE LIFE of CHrist Jesus in our lives!
That is what this website is about, 2lights. I pray that all who have joined would truly embrace that and each other, coming to the place where Jesus is magnified on the earth through our lives, JUST LIKE JESUS gave glory to the Father.
Is that NOT what He prayed that we would do? (John 17 folks)
Let us begin to TRULY BELIEVE that what the Bibles says is real and true and allow it to become a living, practical, experiential reality in and through our lives.
For I tell you the truth, unless what is written in the scriptures, all of those promises, become a living, practical, experiential reality in our lives, those promises mean NOTHING to us personally! Positional promises are nothing unless they are realized in our own lives.
So, friends, let us come together. Let us learn from what the LORD says and what He has placed in us. If you do not want that, then let me know, I will take you off the roles of this forum.
God bless you all!

outofthefire - November 1, 2005 03:57 PM (GMT)
What a blessing to be able to read through all these posts and see that we are not alone, even though many times it feels that way. It is not much fun being separated, outside the accepted camp so to speak. Yet from what I see on other sites and from religous TV, there is no way that I could return to what the Lord brought me out of and conform to be accepted (shudder).
Just as is stated in the Word, we cannot even imagine the things that God has prepared for them that Love Him. While in the systems of man, I interpreted that as being in heaven, after leaving this world. Today, I recognize that this statement applies to right here and now. I believe part of what makes this walk so unappealing (to the general Churchgoer), is that we are conditioned throughout our lives to conform. At work there is great emphasis placed on being a "team player", in schools the focus is on promoting "self", the world's way is to "be the best that you can be". Part of the mystery of the Gospel is that it is completely contrary to the world. Love, esteem, treat others better than yourself...do not return evil for evil but good...if they take your coat then give them your shirt as well. Throughout the Gospel we find that which is totally contrary to the world, in every avenue. Thus, if we follow the Gospel of Christ, we immediately find ourselves at odds with the world's way of thinking.
So how does one equate walking in faith, obeying Christ's commandments, and the negative results that arise? The "Church" in general, regardless of denomination, emphasizes "blessings"...health - wealth - and prosperity - are the present day standards used to measure holiness and acceptability before God. To speak against the pursuit of the same will immediately brand you as being a radical, heretic, troublemaker or worse. We are living in the darkest of times....spiritually speaking. "Gross darkness will cover the people"....and so it is even now.
Another aspect of separation that we must deal with is being brought to the absolute end of self. Recognizing in all its frustrating reality, that we cannot change any one or any thing, regardless of the glaring need, in our own power. We cannot share the light we have received...we cannot employ the methods that may have seemed to work in the past...in our own strength we can do nothing. This is increasingly frustrating, as we are forced to stand by and watch others have apparent great success...in spreading widely accepted "lies and distortions" of the truth as God has allowed us to see it. It does not seem fair...now does it?
There is only one escape from all these things that can assault us...and that is in retreating to stand on the Rock of Ages. Taking our eyes (our focus) off of the world... and every one and thing in it...and focusing on the Lamb of God. He knows how HE is going to fix this mess, and it is unlikely that He is going to give us the entire battleplan beforehand.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. So we walk by faith. Not based on physical things, but on our every growing inner man, being more firmly established in the knowledge of the Lord. We cannot always explain what we know or how we know it, because it is not always possible to convey spiritual things in a physical world. Some things are beyond expression simply because there are no adequate terms for comparison. Some things I cannot even adequately explain within myself, or to my husband....I simply know that I know.
The first year (2004) that we were here in Arizona, I worked part time for an elderly couple as caregiver for the wife (she had Parkinson's for 23 yrs.). Several times, on my shift, I accompanied them to Church functions. There are over 45,000 retirees here in Sun City, and hundreds of big Churches. It was a very eye-opening experience for me. There was no difference between what went on at these functions than any country club or other social gathering. Other than praying over the food, there was no mention of the Lord at all. It broke my heart, that all God was to these folks was complying with accepted forms and rituals. Most of them had been members of this denomination their entire lives...and were now in their later years...soon to meet death...and they had no spiritual reality. It was generally assumed and accepted that because they had been faithful to what their religious leaders had required of them...attendance...tithes...supporting the building programs...etc....that they were saved. As I sat there in their midst, my heart was crying out to the Lord, "they need YOU!" My flesh wanted to stand up and shout....but the Spirit within was silent. The sooner we learn that without the unction of the Spirit, we can do nothing...the sooner we become useable to God. Even though God never chose to speak (confront) the "obvious" (to me alone), yet the opportunity to "minister" was present. Not openly, on the stage, but in the simple, quiet, behind the scene, action of being kind. How we treat people, how we talk to them, what our attitude toward them is, these can speak louder than grand speaches. Sometimes when we see the gross lack and error being spread "in His Name", our reaction is to want to fight. Call down fire, or something! But instead, we cannot do anything. I feel like God puts us in such situations at times, because even these can be part of our testing and training.
What seems enormous and monumental at one moment in time to us, is but a drop in the bucket when compared to what God has endured, with longsuffering, down through the ages. To speak out and try to change hearts...in our own strength and understanding...is pointless. Good intentions are not what we are called to have. We are called to walk in obedience. Which is a very narrow road indeed.
The Word very clearly states that in this world, we will have tribulation, but Praise God, He has overcome the world. And if we will be true and faithful to HIM, we will be overcomers as well. I realize that I have rambled on, and apologize for that, but it is so encouraging to be able to read the words of others who I recognize as part of my Father's household. We share the same trials and struggles, and it is a treasure to be able to encourage one another, and see that we are not crazy...we are not alone...we are joined one to another by the Spirit. Thank you all...simply for being there. In His love, Cathy
