HATING SIN 01/10/2008

Brothers and Sisters,

Let us look at a few passages.

Pro 6:16 These six things the Lord hates, indeed, seven are an abomination to Him:
Pro 6:17 A proud look [the spirit that makes one overestimate himself and underestimate others], a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, [Ps. 120:2, 3.]
Pro 6:18 A heart that manufactures wicked thoughts and plans, feet that are swift in running to evil,
Pro 6:19 A false witness who breathes out lies [even under oath], and he who sows discord among his brethren.

Pro 13:5 A [consistently] righteous man hates lying and deceit, but a wicked man is loathsome [his very breath spreads pollution] and he comes [surely] to shame.

Isa 1:10 Hear [O Jerusalem] the word of the Lord, you rulers or judges of [another] Sodom! Give ear to the law and the teaching of our God, you people of [another] Gomorrah!
Isa 1:11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me [unless they are the offering of the heart]? says the Lord. I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts [without obedience]; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls or of lambs or of he-goats [without righteousness].
Isa 1:12 When you come to appear before Me, who requires of you that your [unholy feet] trample My courts?
Isa 1:13 Bring no more offerings of vanity (emptiness, falsity, vainglory, and futility); [your hollow offering of] incense is an abomination to Me; the New Moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot endure--[it is] iniquity and profanation, even the solemn meeting.
Isa 1:14 Your New Moon festivals and your [hypocritical] appointed feasts My soul hates. They are an oppressive burden to Me; I am weary of bearing them.
Isa 1:15 And when you spread forth your hands [in prayer, imploring help], I will hide My eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood!
Isa 1:16 Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes! Cease to do evil,
Isa 1:17 Learn to do right! Seek justice, relieve the oppressed, and correct the oppressor. Defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Php 2:5 Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]
Php 2:6 Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained,
Php 2:7 But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being.
Php 2:8 And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!

Eph 5:1 THEREFORE BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].
Eph 5:2 And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance. [Ezek. 20:41.]
Eph 5:3 But immorality (sexual vice) and all impurity [of lustful, rich, wasteful living] or greediness must not even be named among you, as is fitting and proper among saints (God's consecrated people).
Eph 5:4 Let there be no filthiness (obscenity, indecency) nor foolish and sinful (silly and corrupt) talk, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting or becoming; but instead voice your thankfulness [to God].
Eph 5:5 For be sure of this: that no person practicing sexual vice or impurity in thought or in life, or one who is covetous [who has lustful desire for the property of others and is greedy for gain]--for he [in effect] is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Eph 5:6 Let no one delude and deceive you with empty excuses and groundless arguments [for these sins], for through these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of rebellion and disobedience.
Eph 5:7 So do not associate or be sharers with them.
Eph 5:8 For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [lead the lives of those native-born to the Light].
Eph 5:9 For the fruit (the effect, the product) of the Light or the Spirit [consists] in every form of kindly goodness, uprightness of heart, and trueness of life.

If we will truly pay attention to these verses we will begin to hear the Lord speaking to our hearts about how clean those hearts must be. In fact, we are to be imitators of God, from the inside out. Look at this>>>

Joh 15:1 I AM the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.
Joh 15:2 Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.
Joh 15:3 You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you].
Joh 15:4 Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me.
Joh 15:5 I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
Joh 15:6 If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned.
Joh 15:7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

Is there any difference on the inside between a vine and its branches? Do they both not have the same heart, the same life-giving fluid within? Can anyone say where the vine ends and the branches begin? Please think on these things; please pray and meditate on this. Consider what the Lord is telling us.

If the vine hates sin, so will the branch. How much will that branch hate sin? The Branch will hate sin as much as the vine. So, my friends, how much does our Lord hate sin? Does He ever even consider it in His life? Is it a viable option for the life of our God? Does He not even refuse to dwell in the place of sin and iniquity? Does not His heart abhor even the idea of sin being around Him let alone being in His life? Did He not cause His very presence to LEAVE the temple He commanded to be built, the one that He said He would always inhabit, because Israel allowed sin, idols, and all sort of unrighteousness to enter His Holy dwelling?

Are we not to live in the same manner? What about this?

Rom 2:28 For he is not a [real] Jew who is only one outwardly and publicly, nor is [true] circumcision something external and physical.
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and [true] circumcision is of the heart, a spiritual and not a literal [matter]. His praise is not from men but from God.

Gal 6:14 But far be it from me to glory [in anything or anyone] except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) through Whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world!
Gal 6:15 For neither is circumcision [now] of any importance, nor uncircumcision, but [only] a new creation [the result of a new birth and a new nature in Christ Jesus, the Messiah].

Col 2:10 And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].
Col 2:11 In Him also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, but in a [spiritual] circumcision [performed by] Christ by stripping off the body of the flesh (the whole corrupt, carnal nature with its passions and lusts).
Col 2:12 [Thus you were circumcised when] you were buried with Him in [your] baptism, in which you were also raised with Him [to a new life] through [your] faith in the working of God [as displayed] when He raised Him up from the dead.
Col 2:13 And you who were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (your sensuality, your sinful carnal nature), [God] brought to life together with [Christ], having [freely] forgiven us all our transgressions,

Will we believe all of these verses along with all of those that say similar things that I have not copied here? Those who abide in Christ Jesus will indeed walk on this earth in the same kind of life that Jesus walked while HE was on this earth. That is what abiding in Christ Jesus means. Therefore, we will, from our own hearts, HATE SIN as much as He does, IF we abide in Him! If we truly have received the circumcision not made with hands, but that comes from our Lord Jesus Christ, then the inside of us will be as clean as Jesus Himself. We will abhor sin on the inside. We will not give any place to it at all. Nor will we ever like it, desire it, or in any other way want to even commit sin in the least. It will be abhorrent, repugnant, detestable, disgusting, and even revolting to us. If some situation were to come into our lives where we are exposed to a choice of sin, it would be so disgusting to us that we flee from it.

Is that how we react to every instance of temptation in our lives? Is it really? Or do we enjoy the sensation, just a little? Is there a pull inside of us toward that sin, whatever it is? If we have had our hearts cleansed as the scriptures tell us our hearts are to be cleansed, then there will be no more desire in our hearts to ever be involved in sin again. We will not desire it, we will not consider it, instead it will make us ill; sick in our spirits, disgusted, and in all ways react JUST LIKE JESUS WOULD! For you see, He would have completely cleansed our hearts of the corrupt, carnal nature with its desires and lusts and replaced that nature with His own nature! Do we really believe the scriptures?

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

These are just two of the many verses that tell us the same things. The old way of life is gone; that old corrupt, carnal nature with all of its desires and lusts; the old previous moral condition is DEAD and we are completely new creations inside; we now have the very nature of Jesus living within us; we have been completely cleaned up on the inside, just like Jesus told the Pharisees they needed to be cleaned on the inside. There is no more sin or corrupt, carnal nature left inside of us; it is dead and gone!

Brothers and Sisters, THIS is Total Sanctification. This is what we are promised by the Lord and HE will accomplish it NOT by our willing it, not by our striving to be perfect, not by any means we have available to us, but only will we ever receive it by FAITH! Faith in Him, Faith that He WILL accomplish those things He has promised, Faith that He is able to do this thing in our lives, Faith that we will indeed trust Him in all things and allow Him complete and total access to our lives and everything in them, FAITH to truly receive this Sanctification on this earth in this life and give Him all the glory for it!

If we do not hate sin in this manner, if sin has any hold or attraction to us in the least, if we are not sickened by the thought of committing sin, if we have anything in us that rebels in the least to God and HIS dominion, His ways, His will and His desire for us, or if we decide for ourselves what is good or evil, if we think we know what is right and wrong without asking God in every case, then we have not been cleansed on the inside.

How much do we hate sin? Do we hate it as much as Jesus? Do we really? Do we hate sin so much that we earnestly desire to obey Jesus’ in His teachings against it? Let us see.

Mat 5:29 If your right eye serves as a trap to ensnare you or is an occasion for you to stumble and sin, pluck it out and throw it away. It is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be cast into hell (Gehenna).
Mat 5:30 And if your right hand serves as a trap to ensnare you or is an occasion for you to stumble and sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better that you lose one of your members than that your entire body should be cast into hell (Gehenna).

Mat 6:19 Do not gather and heap up and store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust and worm consume and destroy, and where thieves break through and steal.
Mat 6:20 But gather and heap up and store for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust nor worm consume and destroy, and where thieves do not break through and steal;
Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Mat 6:22 The eye is the lamp of the body. So if your eye is sound, your entire body will be full of light.
Mat 6:23 But if your eye is unsound, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the very light in you [your conscience] is darkened, how dense is that darkness!

Mat 18:6 But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in and acknowledge and cleave to Me to stumble and sin [that is, who entices him or hinders him in right conduct or thought], it would be better (more expedient and profitable or advantageous) for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be sunk in the depth of the sea.
Mat 18:7 Woe to the world for such temptations to sin and influences to do wrong! It is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the person on whose account or by whom the temptation comes!
Mat 18:8 And if your hand or your foot causes you to stumble and sin, cut it off and throw it away from you; it is better (more profitable and wholesome) for you to enter life maimed or lame than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into everlasting fire.
Mat 18:9 And if your eye causes you to stumble and sin, pluck it out and throw it away from you; it is better (more profitable and wholesome) for you to enter life with only one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the hell (Gehenna) of fire.
Mat 18:10 Beware that you do not despise or feel scornful toward or think little of one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always are in the presence of and look upon the face of My Father Who is in heaven.

Do we hate sin this much? Are we willing to suffer in our bodies so that we will NOT commit sin? Are we willing to go to the point of death to be obedient to the Lord so that we will never sin again? Are we? Will we pluck out our eye or cut off our hand or foot if it is these things that lead us into sin all the time? Are we willing to suffer the loss of all things so that we might gain Christ Jesus, no matter how much personal pain, humiliation, or sacrifice it causes us? Are we willing to lose our friends and families in order to be obedient to the Lord? Are we willing to be a laughingstock among the people we love, including the body of Christ just so that no sin will touch our lives through our disobedience?

Is that how much we love the Lord and hate sin?

Do we hate sin as much as Isaiah and Jeremiah, willing to be called heretics, false prophets, and false teachers no matter how much we KNOW the Lord Himself has taught us? Are we truly willing to please God and NOT MAN at all, so that we might be like Jesus Christ?

In all these areas of our lives, are we willing to be wrong so that He will cause us to walk in His steps, even if that means we must renounce the very things we used to proclaim publicly so that we now look like a fool? Are we willing to be fools for the Lord just so we might be led by the Holy Spirit? Are we mindful of our image before men or before he Lord?

Are we willing to lay down every single one of our own plans that we might live in the desire of God for our lives? Are we willing to be wrong about everything we have previously held dear, taught as truth, and have proven that others were wrong, so that we might proclaim Jesus is correct and we do not care what man says? Will we lay down all of these things? Will we allow Jesus to REALLY CLEANSE us on the inside so that there remains no more cleansing to be done?

Remember what Jesus told the Pharisees>>>>

Mat 23:25 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the plate, but within they are full of extortion (prey, spoil, plunder) and grasping self-indulgence.
Mat 23:26 You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and of the plate, so that the outside may be clean also.
Mat 23:27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you are like tombs that have been whitewashed, which look beautiful on the outside but inside are full of dead men's bones and everything impure.
Mat 23:28 Just so, you also outwardly seem to people to be just and upright but inside you are full of pretense and lawlessness and iniquity. [Ps. 5:9.]

Jesus came so that we would no longer have to live a life like the Pharisees that appeared clean on the outside but within are full of extortion, self indulgence, all those things which are dead and everything that is impure, full of pretense, lawlessness and iniquity! We are NOT to have lives on this earth like this. Jesus came so that our lives would cease being like this. Are we living like this? Are we? I asked myself this same question several years ago and at that time found the answer was NO!

Today, the answer is far different. I tell you the truth, anyone can live a life JUST LIKE JESUS if we will only surrender our own life absolutely. Every portion of the inside life can be just as clean, just as pure, just as glorious as Jesus, but it will NEVER happen because we try to make ourselves that way! It does not come about by our striving to be good, nice, clean or anything else. We cannot make ourselves better. We can continue on as we always have, kidding ourselves that we are growing to be more like Jesus, OR we can die to everything that is US and let Jesus live HIS life through our own! There is no other choice. It is one or the other. We cannot get better or cleanse ourselves through a choice of our will. We can only receive this life that comes exclusively from our Lord once we have allowed our previous moral existence to be exterminated by the very cross of Christ!

Only here, will we be able to abide in Christ Jesus, live like Jesus lived, walk like Jesus walked, and every one of our natural responses will be the very same as Jesus Christ, for those responses will indeed be His own! We will not have to pluck out our eye or cut off our hand or foot because the very Spirit of Christ will continually be living the life of Christ in and through us. Jesus and Father God will have made their PERMANENT HOME, Their abode, Their TEMPLE within our own hearts. Those hearts will be absolutely CLEAN, even cleaner than the tabernacle or temple ever were. Neither will the Lord EVER leave us or remove His anointing because that “temple” will remain cleansed by the Holy Spirit at all times!

There are so many benefits to this life, yet most will never choose to go there. The reason?

Because in order to receive the Life of Christ Jesus, we must absolutely forsake our own life, including every dependence we have outside of God. We cannot rely on ourselves, what we think, what we want, what we desire, our plans, our decisions, our talents, our gifts, our understandings or anything else that is ours EVER AGAIN!

So the question comes to each of us, what is our decision? What will we do? Will we choose to go God’s way or will we continue with what we think is right? The choice is ours. But it will not be an easy choice. Only those who truly desire the Lord Himself, not His gifts or blessings or anything else He gives, will ever really go here. I cannot make this choice for you. Neither can your pastor, your teacher, your spouse, your friends, or anyone else. If you have a deep desire for the Lord, then you may be able to come to Him in this manner. If you do not, the only thing I know to do is pray. Pray and seek the Lord with all your might. Lay everything down. Leave no stone unturned. Leave nothing back. Do not allow even your own ideas, understandings or teachings, doctrines or anything else to deter you. Seek the Lord. Ask Him to cause you to LOVE HIM, with all of your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Do not be satisfied with anything less. Be willing to lay absolutely everything in your life down and never pick it up again! Be willing to be wrong about everything. Even those things that you personally believe God has taught you directly, be willing to say it is false. Be willing to renounce everything you hold dear, no matter HOW holy, pure, and godly you think it might be. THEN go to the Lord, believing that HE WILL INDEED SPEAK TO YOU, Trust Him to show you HIS TRUTH! If it contradicts anything, even everything you ever held as truth, then lay it down, confess it as sin and choose instead to believe the Lord in what He has just shown you.

If we will do this, He will indeed teach us His ways, teach us His Absolute Truth, give us His knowledge, cleanse us utterly and cause us to walk in His ways.

Are we willing to be this radical? If not, then you may forget all of this and pretend you never heard it. But if you truly want a life that is different from the MODERN normal Christian life, and desire to live JUST LIKE JESUS, then this is the only way. It is a narrow gate. It is a straight and narrow path. Only a few will see it and find it. And even fewer will follow it to its completion.

Which kind of Christian are you?

Dirk, I used to be a "Christian", but am no more. I find your definition of a Christian as one who follows Jesus to be still too broad, for why should we follow someone who has only been around since 1526 when the Bible was first translated into English by Tyndale? Thus that was when Jesus was born.

Prior to that his name was Iseaus from 300 AD, when Constantine overlaid Christianity over their Roman and Babylonian Sun-god worship, but again why should we follow him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and it isn't Jesus, or Iseaus but Yah-shua.

While even the KJV says that the Angel Gabrial said "You shall call his name Jesus", this isn't what he said at all. He said "You shall call his name Yahoshua" Or Yah-shua or Yeshua.

Lets have a reality check. We served Jesus for all these years, but did he heal us, bless us and use us as we were led to expect?

Did his most anointed ones, who used to claim 2/3rds of those they prayed for got healed, but when the rubber met the road, these Two Percenters found out that most had merely stepped out "in faith" claiming healings that never came. Only 2% healings, just enough to perpeturate the hoax that this is the way, walk ye in it.

We witnessed for him, but did he send Revival? A house divided against itself cannot stand.

When we prayed "in JESUS name", or "in Jesus NAME", did we get whatever we asked for in prayer? Or again did we just get enough to perpetuate the hoax that this is the way, walk ye in it?

We tithed for 30 years, yet did God ever open the windows of Heaven and pour out such a blessing that our barns couldn't contain it all? No, because what we were taught was actually unscriptural, and to have blessed us would have perpetuated the hoax that this is the way, walk ye in it.

The end-times of Daniel 9 has Satan standing in the place of God. But guess what. He already is. He is standing in the place of Yah-shua as Lord of our lives.

His false gospels of grace, prosperity and unmerited favour have stood in the place of "this gospel of the kingdom of God" which is to be preached in all the world before the end comes.

Satan has redefined sin as being a moral thing, when even 1John 3:4 says "Sin is transgressing or breaking Yahovahs Laws and statutes".

Yahovah says of the New Covenant. "And this is the New Covenant that I will make. I will put my Laws in their minds and write them upon their hearts, and I will put my Ruach Hachodesh (Spirit) within them to "move them" to keep my Laws and statutes.

As this hasn't happened, and is only now happening in the lives of those choosing to let themselves be set-apart to them, Satans unholy spirit is standing in the place of Ruach Hachodesh.

We haven't been keeping Yahovahs Sabbaths or Holy Days, and have instead kept a day set apart to the Sun god, not to the Son of God, and xmas and easter are days recognising Nimrods birthday and that of an Egyptian fertility goddess, Estre.

Satan has already been standing in the place of God in our lives. We must dethrone him and dethrone self, and choose to submit to Yahovah and Yah-shua, so that we can resist the devil and he will flee.

We conformed to those in our Church worlds, and never found Gods good, pleasing or perfect will for our lives. This was because we looked to man for what to believe, be, do, say, pray and have. We then looked to these VIP's for love, acceptance, approval, recognition and reward.

We must now stop conforming to those in our Church worlds and begin to have our minds renewed and be brought into obedience to Yahovahs will, Word and ways.

We have had a counterfeit Lord, a counterfeit holy spirit, a counterfeit gospel and a counterfeit life. Lets find the real thing, the genuine thing, because this imitation just wasn't really worth having.

Then and only then will we be made in their image and likeness.

Dirk, the road gets narrower and narrower, and mostly we have to walk it alone.

John, you will be told this ONE TIME!

If you come here preaching Yeshua (or however you wish to spell it) you will be banned.

You are following the LAW and that is not how we are to live. I have told you similar things before and you never paid attention. You will pay attention now, or you will not be allowed to be here!

John,

The trouble is, you seem to have forgotten the end part.

"Mey the Lord lead and guide you in all things!"

The Lord will NOT lead and guide you into FALSEHOOD and that is exactly what you are posting. If you post falsehood, it will be removed and you will be blocked.

Following the LAW and SACRED NAME doctrines are BOTH FALSEHOODS!

PERIOD!

you just seem to want things your way all the time. That is what got you booted off of JTBTV and it will get you booted off of Bethel Shekinah as well.
