Any chance of ressurecting the old Contrary Outcome skin [minus the title image of course]? I really happened to be fond of that skin, this one feels so...sort of out of character for the Knights. It messes with my mind and puts me in a mood for cheer rather than plotting and undermining. No offense to whoever made it.

Just curious if someone could work it so we could select one or the other.

This site has more then just Knights on it. There are Ministry members and Phoenix members, which could state the exact same thing as you have if it was black and white. The buttons for the skin were already made, which I'm sure took Rico a fair amount of time, and the header already crafted.

If any admin cares to disagree with me, then please feel free to. This is only one admin's opinon.

I agree with Jak. I also have my personal, selfish reasons; the other skin was slowly destroying my corneas with the harsh contrast of black and white, and it took longer than normal to load on my craptacular computer. I'm sure it was a bit more 'Knight' themed, but again, the Knights are one of three groups on the site. It'd be like saying that the black was too dark for someone playing an Order member.

Plus, Rico did spend a long time on the pips, and they're pretty sweet. I wouldn't want that to go to naught.

I know I'm not an admin, but I personally like this skin. I think it's relatively neutral considering the three completely different groups that characters are classified into. But that's just me.

You should've sat next to me as I jacked around with this skin for three hours. The whole thought process I had when choosing this skin? Well, truth be told, it isn't an all-Knight site. (Hah, that rhymes.) Despite the fact that it is slightly evil-based, the word Ardor means:

1. Fiery intensity of feeling.

I thought, 'hey, red would be sweet!" Well, red skins happen to take a searing poker to your eyes, so I scratched that. Although blue is normally thought of as a calm, serene color, it could also be taken as something fiery and alive.

That was my intention. Both the Knights and the Order have something in common: ardor. Passion is the fuel that motivates them. Black and white seems a lot less happy, and slightly foreboding, but it does not capture the emotion I was trying to get across.

Thought it would make sense if I explained. My apologies if it doesn't make much sense, but it works out perfectly in my own mind, which I suppose is what matters most.

No explination needed, really, it's a wonderful skin, and as stated, it's completely neutral. It goes well with everything. There shouldn't be a need to explain something because one member doesn't like it, because there are more than one of us here.
