Through the hallway Krathar rushed along, pulling Celes with him. He did not pay attention to Abi who was high on their heels and every once in a while he had to look back to realise that he really shouldn't have squeezed Celes' arm so hard. This probably innitiated from the fact that Krathar himself tended to forget as well that he really wasn't a small kid, but rather a full-grown teenager who had no clue as to how physicly strong he actually was.
But at last they all made it to the infirmary. Krathar almost smashed open the door in all his haste and stumbled over the doorstep. A few feet inward he came to a sudden halt and a slower realisation...
'Miss Daisy? Where? U not here? Everyone gone? Why? but... but... but... Miss Daisy? Girl here hurt.. girl.. yes.. GIRL!.. Miss Daisy not here you see? u know.. I don't.. I ... I... ehm... err... I kinda... not.. mistake... must... err... see? you see? Miss Daisy gone? Not my fault.. I didn't... I think... I... err... I don't know.... help???'
Krathar turned around to face Celes and started to raise his shoulders multiple times and put up big innocent puppy eyes as he really didn't seem to have a clue how to express his confusement.

Celes's eyes widened as she realized that the room was devoid of a cetrain Miss Eurika. She moved toward the bell on the wall and hesitantly rang it, covering an ear with her good hand to try to protect it from the shrill noise. She then stopped it from ringing, and waited.
Other then the fact that her arm might have broke under the pressure from Krathar, she began to worry after the minutes started to fly by. While Miss Eurika might have been busy, Celes was sure that a student in danger might have been her top priority... unless something was stopping her, or more then one person was in danger.
Then, something seemed to smash into the window. Celes's head shot up, and she saw Nal, dazed, fluttering. Celes tried to open the window with her good hand, but it wouldn't budge. She looked at Krathar and Abi, exasperated.

"Opening windows - I think I can manage that."
Abi shifted the window open, bothered all the while by the bird fluttering around him.
"It's been bothering me for a while now, but I've I've finally just got to ask: what is with this bird anyway? Why is it always following you around, Celes?"

Celes moved a strand of hair out of her eyes, ignoring Abi for a moment while she made sure Nal wasn't injured. Nal was fine. She looked at Abi for a moment, and then scratched her head, sheepish.
"Well... um... Nal here is kind of my pet-" Celes then got lightly stabbed with a talon, "...but uh, Nal here doesn't like that word. I think companion is best?"
She grinned for the pleasure of grinning, and to hide the pain of her arm.
"And Nal likes going through my head... I kind of talk to her..."

"Going through your head? Sounds painful. Not sure that I'd want something like that happening to me. Where could that doctor be? Ah, I suppose she can't be here all the time, but why leave the door open? I'm sure she'll be back soon."

"Something bad? Happen around here? What are the chances..."
Abi trailed off. When he thought about it, he didn't know what the chances were. He hadn't even been at Blacktides two days yet, and if that encounter in the forest had taught him anything, it was that it wasn't exactly the safest place in the world.
While it was quiet in the infirmary, it wasn't quite eerily quiet, which was a relief. Krathar was contibuting greatly to what little noise there was, and Abi found himself darting his eyes back to him every few moments.
It was just plain odd.

Celes's eyes are cast to the clean floors. Going through her mind were almost the exact thoughts that Abi was having; if the students could get attacked in the forest, what was the chances of a teacher being assaulted? What if miss Eurika was stuck in one of those situations?
Slowly, Celes stood up from the bed.
"I... I suppose miss Eurika is busy... Do you think she would mind if we snooped around a bit so my arm doesn't get infected or something?"

Abi shrugged, and moved over to one of the cabinets. It didn't seem to be locked, so he popped it open and had a good rummage around. There were numerous bottles of unlabelled liquids and powders, as well as several firmly sealed boxes. How was he meant to know what any of it did?
Abi brought his head back out of the cabinet, shouting across to Celes. "Do you have any idea what any of this stuff is?"

"I guess so. But if anyone asks, it was like that when we got here, okay?"
Abi closed the cabinet again, leaving one door slightly ajar, and moved over to the bed. He flexed his fingers for a few moments before setting to work, his talons slicing the sheet into long strips. They were very long strips, but he was sure that the more times they were wrapped around a wound, the better they'd work. Or something.
He bundled up the scraps and made his way over to Celes.
"Now hold still. And keep that damn bird out of the way..."

Abi managed to successfully wrap the bandage around Celes' wound without tangling himself up in it. He gave himself a mental pat on the back for that success, but had trouble tying it off at the end.
He never had been any good with knots.

In the meanwhile Krathar proceeded to sit on one of the nursury beds. He was hopping up and down and had forgotten the entire reason for them three being here at all. The bed was soft... really soft... or ... maybe it just seemed that way.. now..
'oOh... fluffy... look there.. pillow... can I... yeah.. put my head in... UMPH!... not like that... side ways... lie down... hihi... look there's the ceiling! AHHH!!!! hehe... my eyes and inside look funny and... *yawn*.... prrr...'
Slowly Krathar was dozing off paying no heed to the noise neaby him where Abi and Celes were fixing up bandages of some sort.
