Glow Tentacles Tutorial by Anesthetik

In this tutorial I will teach you to make glow tentacles like the ones shown below.




Step 1

Set your default brush to 1 pixel, and create a new document with the size of about 750x750-1000x1000


Step 2

Take out your pen tool, and create 3 dots like this



Step 3

Take out the Convert Point Tool and select all of the dots that you created.



Step 4

Use the Convert Point tool to deform and twist each dot until you get something like this



Step 5

Right Click near your loopy tentacle and then hit stroke path, and make sure you select the brush setting or it will be very pixilated, and make sure you have selected the 1 pixel brush as I said to do in the beginning of the tutorial.

Then Right click again and hit Delete Path and you should have the outline of the loopy thing u made earlier.



Step 6

Duplicate the loopy scribble once and Filter-Blur-Gaussion Blur with a radius of 3
Then merge the duplicate and the non duplicate together and then duplicate the glowy
Loop again and then hit CTRL + F and then merge the 2. You should get something like this



Step 7

Play around and add your own little things to touch it up, maybe a COLOR BALANCE layer and some glow dots. Here is my result

nice tutorial i had a go with the glowing dots
