(( I return! Wow....gone this long and you didn't post your own find? Fine....))
At the center of the hallway double doors connected the inner rooms to a central garden. Here, as if defying what had occured, stood a grand tree surrounded by a pool of water. The area seemed pure and untainted by whatever evil had occured here.
Snare gave it a passing glance before slithering onwards, but inwardly he hissed at the sight. Most of the rooms had been destroyed by whatever had happened here, but close enough to the garden entry they opened a door to find a spacious living room of sorts.
The room still retained features of it's former beauty. The flooring, though dusty, was all soft wood, while the walls, once white, now stood cracked and somewhat dirty. The windows here were high and still in place, though cracked with age. Vines had begun to creep in over the walls on one side, and several old dusty sitting pillows lay scattered about. No blood had been spilled in this room.
