What are your predictions about the upcoming basketball season. I realize that there is this other season coming up that obviously should be the attention right now but I figured why not?

Obviously with all the talent leaving for the NBA draft there is talk of a "reloading" year just as in football. Can the new incoming players and returning veterans make a NC run again?

I think we'll finish second in the Big-10 to MSU. Lighty will be phenomenal and if Turner can put on some muscle, he'll have a solid freshman year. Gotta' love Butler and Koufos as well. I see us making the Sweet 16.

That was exactly my pick...second to MSU. Butler will be back at controlling the floor and obviously he has tremendous experience. I thought hunter was overlooked quite a bit and buried in the shadows of the freshmen but this is his year to step up and shine.

Hunter showed flashes of NBA potential. He's a great defender, has 3 point range, and is really athletic. Considering this is only like his 4th or 5th year of organized basketball, I think he's barely even scratched the surface. He just needs to show consistency this year. He and Koufos will reek havoc on opposing front courts.
