The halloween party has begun; go there and enjoy yourself!

The site has FINALLY been re-vamped. It`s still quite sketchy, but we ask you to be patient we will slowly develop it further. If you have an suggestions, then by all means we`re all ears.

This also means that inactive members have been deleted to allow room for new members- If you have been deleted and are active, you have my apologies, and simply- claim your character once more.

If you are checking out this board for the first time (or not) and are wondering who is taken/free, you can check it out here

A few issues have arisen from the former plot. This will be addressed.

It`s been brought to my attention that people have been- understandably confused about where this is located (with both Grissom and Horatio involved.) This is based in Las Vegas- why Horatio is there, is addressed here and here.

*Smacks his gumms* Why do I feel like the old foggy RPer of the bunch. I need some gerital or something to keep you young whippersnappers at bay.

Kids these days think anything under five years is experence.

Prunes I need Prunes. Athene! Where are my Prunes!

Ok enough with the old man speek. I may be a seasoned vetren but I am no means retired from this art.

I think I win for newbie RPG-er. This is the first time I've ever done this, or even considered it. It's all thanks to Sara's sig over on another board. It's sad to think what one little click of a mouse could've stopped... icon_wink.gif

I'm sure the other members respect that, as do I.

we'll take a vote, in the meantime, it's skill, not experience that count.
one could roleplay for a lifetime and be horrid with it, or only a week and count themselves a master.

QUOTE (Sara @ Nov 28 2005, 04:15 AM)
This is my first time RPing. I'm just making it up as I go. I know the character fairly well so it's not too hard.

Do we have an rping advice thread somewhere Grissom/Horatio? Well if we don't you (Athena, Chase, and anyone else who knows what they're doing) might want to start an advice thread for some of us newbie, just post some tips or something. It might be helpful.

Don`t brag yet Saint. As Athena defended my honor, allow me to boast:

I`ve been roleplaying for a total of Twelve years. Yes, I know. It somehow surpasses impressive and enters pathetic.

It has become very Off topic, and if I wasn`t looking for in turn compliments and a trophy (or cash bonus) of some sorts for the wasted years of my life, I`d have locked it by now.

And yes, we do have A RP advice forum, located here.

Pardon if this sounds short- but it is. This is the second time you`ve done this sara, please, actually read through all of the forums- even if you don`t read the posts within it would be nice if our members would know what we have to offer- it is a part of the rules and is necessary for the site to run smoothly.

I`m actually quite shocked that a number of you didn`t know if we had one or not. Myself and Grissom spent literally weeks of working upon end getting this site up and running (The damn jargon guide in itself was death worthy) and would appreciate it if our members had enough courtesy to give a damn.

*looks at the floor* Sorry? _shameful_cry_.gif

I've never used one and never thought of looking for one myself.

My apologies for not seeing the help thread either.

I didn't ask if we had a forum, I asked if we had a thread because I looked and didn‘t find one. And I did know that forum was there as you can see I had already asked a question about the time frame quite a while ago. In fact it was one of the first posts I made because I wanted to get my character right for your site.

I’ve read through the forums and the posts and I know what your site has to offer, so your shortness, although it is pardoned, was hurtful. I simply thought a place for the experienced role players to post some tips that they’ve come across over the years might be helpful to those of us just starting.

Many of us know how long you both have worked on this site because we’ve remained loyal and waited patiently for the site to reopen. I’m hurt and shocked that you’d think we would wait this long and not give a damn.
