New ArrivalsWho: All. POV: Luther Cromwell, the headmaster. What: The transfer students from Beaumont and Midlands arrive. When: March 26, 2006. Post: New ArrivalsSummaryThe Dining Hall was expanded significantly, large enough so it could comfortably fit four more tables, along with expanding the original four house tables. The headmaster is sitting in his usual seat at the staff table, surrounded by most of the staff as the usual crowd of students start filing in. When everyone's finally seated, he announces a few notes about housing issues, and then presents the students of Midlands Academy, who are all clad in dark violet robes. When they're all finally seated, Midlands' headmaster sits down at the staff table, and soon after Beaumont comes in, all clad in blue-green and led by their deputy headmistress, who later becomes a new Cauldwell Herbology professor. After everyone is finally seated, Luther makes a corny Marie Antoinette reference, and the welcoming feast begins.

The InfernoWho: All attending the Clausula Ball. POV: 3rd-person view of the revolutionaries, and then Adrian Cauldwell, Lydia Cauldwell's father and the current property owner of the academy. What: Adrian Cauldwell's house is set aflame while his wife and step-child are trapped inside. When: May 20, 2006. (Posted June 10, 2006.) Where: Astronomy Deck / Outskirts of Stanhope Post: the death of blissful ignorance . . . (the catalyst of a rude awakening)SummaryIt begins by describing the setting of the area around the house, and the dark looming mass of revolutionaries standing in front of it. After much more emotional and sexy describing (lol), the head of the clan gives the signal, and they immediately start firing every kind of fire spell they can at the house until the entire thing is in flames. They become satisfied after a mere few minutes, so they run and disapparate after that. Meanwhile, Adrian had been invited to survey the event going on at his school, and when this was all happening, he was arguing with his daughter. He didn't notice that his house was up in flames until he heard someone scream (Lydia) from the other side of the deck. He tried to disapparate, remembered he couldn't, and ran across the grounds to the woods so he could disapparate to his house from there instead.

The Eye of AwakeningWho: People of the United States, more specifically New York and New Jersey. POV: Two reporters for the Stanhope Inquirer. What: Revolutionary attacks. When: August 26th and 27th. (Posted Sept. 15th & 17th, respectively.) Where: New York City, New York, and Franklin, New Jersey. Post: The Stanhope InquirerSummaryAt 12:00am Friday morning, a sudden power outage took over the downtown portions of New York City, New York, along with adjacent regions as far as New Jersey City. Two trains collided, subways were shut down, sixty-two elevators were stuck in their shafts, three of which fell, killing those inside, and at least thirty-nine different car wrecks occured. The stock exchange was halted, and the only buildings known to have working generators were the hospitals, which were all severely overcrowded with the injuries caused by the major blackout. Witnesses report that a single building, the Empire State Building, was lit up approximately five minutes after the blackout, illuminating the city with an enormous open eye, shaped by the lights in its windows. An hour later, parts of the Statue of Liberty were found destroyed, and her torch lie at her feet, completely engulfed in flames. The next night, at approximately 1:00am, Muggles of Franklin, New Jersey, were forced to witness a morbid sight in the form of twelve mutilated bodies hovering high in the air. As light was shed on the victims, who were still living at the time, witnesses discovered that these naked bodies had been suspended by the use of barbed wire, apparently charmed, that had been twisted to form the shape of an open eye. These wires attacked anyone who attempted to bring these bodies down until about 5:30 that morning, when sunrise finally came. The eye disappeared, allowing them access to the victims, all dead by that point. Adam Johnson, 13, was among them. He was a Muggle-born wizard, due to begin his fourth year at Cauldwell Secondary, and was praised by the headmaster, Luther Cromwell, for his academic achievements.

The End of an EraWho: Headmaster Luther Cromwell, and anyone who knew him. POV: A reporter for the Stanhope Inquirer. What: Luther Cromwell's sudden passing. When: December 25. (Posted February 4th.) Where: Stanhope, North Carolina. Post: The Stanhope InquirerSummaryLuther Cromwell, Headmaster to Cauldwell Secondary, was discovered dead in his bed on Christmas morning. According to Healers, he passed away in his sleep. No traces of foul play can be found, although his death is considered suspicious by many. Cromwell was only fifty-eight years old, with two daughters, Christina (32) and Jessica (28). His wife, Laverne, passed away twelve years ago in a housefire. As customary, an extension to the gardens is expected to be added in the spring, and finished by the time summer arrives. Funeral services were held at Cauldwell on January 3rd, the day students returned from winter vacation, and Azara Bowen took his place as Headmistress on January 4th. His legacy will be remembered for years to come, and he is greatly missed by many.

Rock the BoatWho: The world. POV: A reporter for the Stanhope Inquirer. What: Revolutionary attacks across the globe. When: December 25th, 2006. (Posted February 4th.) Where: London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Athens, Moscow, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. Post: The Stanhope InquirerSummaryVarious attacks occured almost simultaneously all over the globe on Christmas Day, 2006. It's unclear to say which one was first, if there was one that was first at all. In Los Angeles, Grauman's Chinese Theatre exploded in flame. In Chicago, the Sears Tower exploded and, minutes later, collapsed into a pile of rubble, littering the streets below with smoke, ash, and debris. The Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. was completely destroyed, including the famous statue of Lincoln himself. In London, Big Ben burst and collapsed, followed by the Eiffel Tower in Paris, which was warped so severely it's become unrecognizable. The Brandenburg Gate of Berlin was destroyed, collapsing into the streets below. Athens' National Archaelogical Museum was completely gutted, and Moscow's St. Basil's Cathedral was completely demolished. Hong Kong's Cheun Kong Center was destroyed, as was the Bank of China tower as it fell. The upper levels of Tokyo's Metropolitan Government Building were destroyed, but the skyscraper still remains standing. The Sydney Opera House in Australia was set aflame, eventually crumbling into debris. Needless to say, human society has been rocked. Brianna's Note: Well. They're gonna have a shitload to rebuild.
