1. Treat others as you want to be treated

Remember that everyone here is your friend. :P Unless absolutely needed, be kind and role-play with others. ^_^ Welcome people and, overall, try to make Cherry Village as friendly as possible! The nice can always be rewarded... =o

2. No spamming

We do not like spam, no, not at all. Spam, for those of you unfamiliar with the term, is posting one sentence or something that is useless to the topic. For instance:

RPer #1 : Jean smiled, and flushed red as he complimented her.
"Thank you..." She stammered.

RPer #2: Jake nodded.

Rper #2's response was short and lacked in detail. Thus, it would be considered spam. Try and make your posts 40 or so words, at the least.

3. No harassment

This is not only bad on or off the computer, it's also illegal. If you persist to harass a user after they have told you to stop, you will be BANNED.

4. No sexual content

Please, please do not post sexual content on the boards. This is Harvest Moon, meaning it will also appeal to younger audiences. You should take it to the PM system or AIM/MSN if you insist on role-playing this aspect of your character's life. Hugging and kissing are acceptable, though.

5. No Flooding

Flooding is a term used to describe someone double or more posting in a row. It's annoying, and utterly useless, so please don't flood a topic. There should be about a day in between posts, unless forced.

6. Swearing

Some words will be accepted, but do not swear 24/7 just because you can. There should be a good reason behind it, like, say, your character dropped a hammer on his foot. Please keep it to a minimal, if you do feel that swearing will be needed. *Note: Younger characters should not swear though.

7. Weapons and items

Sometimes, a weapon can be used to express something about your character's personality. This is fine. If there is a good reason to have it, exceptions can be made. However, if you just want to take a gun, it will not be allowed. Despite having one or not, you can't use any weapons in the rpg. It IS Harvest Moon after all. As for items, we allow you to be modern in this rpg. Television, pumbling, computers, and the like are all acceptable. :P

8. Godmodding

Do not accept or correct other people on the board. If you see a problem, PM one of the staff and we will take care of it. It's not your place to correct someone, it's ours and it could offend the person your correcting.

9. Flaming

Any flaming of CV, our members, Staff or affiliates is unacceptable. If you do not like a particular thing about the forums, PM a Staff member and we'll be glad to hear what you have to say.
