WELCOME
Hello, and welcome to Crossing Boundaries! CB is an intermediate-advanced dog and wolf RPG that takes place in the city of Chimera, and its surrounding lands. Over the years, this city has had its share of downfalls - once, it was a thriving city, but was destroyed by a hurricane, and abandoned by all human life. But recently, after a fire that once again devastated the city, leveling out all of the old remains, the humans have returned...and have rebuilt the city into an even larger metropolis than before. Will there still be room for the dogs to roam the streets? And will their more 'savage' cousins be safe in the wild? Or will some be forced to cross boundaries, both physical and psychological, to survive?

It was weird, coming back to her kind of civilization. The Aderes Pack wasn’t much now since the humans came back to the city, and obviously a lot had changed. The last time Spirit was here, she was asking for a place amongst the ranks. Of course though, with the strays cocky nature and words, she was disregarded. With that, she left the pack and stayed to herself for another year or so. Spirit was never sure whether she wanted to comeback, and after forever, she did. Was she trying to ask acceptance again? Well it depends. From what she heard, the pack wasn’t a large one still. She might be welcomed. It was hard for Spirit to imagine being within the ranks of a stray pack. She had been alone for so long. Maybe it would change her a bit, supposedly, it did for some.
Making the choice to do this was hard enough, but if this didn’t work out again, there was always that other dog pack. It was about time Spirit made something more of her life and have more to live for. Happiness could only be achieved with others, whether they were just your friends or whether they were family. The black femme knew she wouldn’t have family here. Her brothers were pets, unless something happened, and her parents were farm dogs. She only deserved to be on the streets, like wolves to the wild.
All too sudden, from Spirit’s dark alley corner she once called home, the dog was upon the entrance to an underground world full of metal snakes. Was it okay to just move in? Spirit was still unsure as to how dogs went about asking for acceptance. After a few seconds thought, the black stray walked into the darkened territory of the Aderes Pack. She would only go far enough in to let know that a newcomer had arrived. Spirit didn’t want to push the alpha by going in any further, and wanted to show that she had respect for the pack territory.
