A new alliance has formed. Within the ashes of the tragedy of the fire, Hauze and the Anderes Pack Alphess, none other than the famous Liseli, are now mates. The fire that wrecked the junkyard, warping metal and making some piles dangerous, has other than that left it much the same as it always was. Now, however, a new threat spans within. Several humans work during the day, making it unsafe to travel in the open. The junkyard is large enough, however, that Hauze is willing to share -- and indeed, some of the humans know about the stray's. The alliance has made him a slightly happier character, although his daughter remains weary of this new intruder into her father's heart. Although the rumor that Mika is not dead, only captured by humans still remains a rumor, the few dogs that have started drifting back understand not to even breath the name of the Labrador.
