WELCOME
Hello, and welcome to Crossing Boundaries! CB is an intermediate-advanced dog and wolf RPG that takes place in the city of Chimera, and its surrounding lands. Over the years, this city has had its share of downfalls - once, it was a thriving city, but was destroyed by a hurricane, and abandoned by all human life. But recently, after a fire that once again devastated the city, leveling out all of the old remains, the humans have returned...and have rebuilt the city into an even larger metropolis than before. Will there still be room for the dogs to roam the streets? And will their more 'savage' cousins be safe in the wild? Or will some be forced to cross boundaries, both physical and psychological, to survive?

::Liseli::

Name: Liseli "Lis-el-ee"
Gender: Female
Age: 4 Years
Breed: Labrador Retriever
Gang/Rank: Aderes/Dax(leader)

Appearance: Surely...not a pure lab? That color - its not one of black, chocolate or yellow...or is it? Actually, Liseli's color, her most noticeable feature, is the earliest shade of 'yellow' in Labrador Retrievers. 'Fox Red', as it is called, is the darkest form of the yellow variety, a shade that has almost disappeared over the years. The copperish-red is darkest upon her maw and ears, continuing a bit down her backline and covering her limbs. Along her neck, sides, and haunches she is more of a blonde coloration, though the two hues within her fur blend together in such a way that you cannot tell where one color ends and the other begins. Other than the color, her fur differs in being a bit longer and thicker than the typical lab, possibly from her earlier years spent in such cold environments.

Due to breeding for companionship rather than showing, Liseli is a bit larger than the average lab, especially the average female lab. She is almost 2 1/2 feet at the withers, and weighs approximately 75 pounds. She has a very stable frame and sturdy body - the majority of her mass being expressed in thick muscles that she both inherited and had to put quite a bit of work into. But other than practically bulging muscles upon her large frame, Liseli is a picture of pure beauty. Her face is painted with extremely feminine features, and she moves with a brisk, flowing grace.

Personality: Liseli's character is a bit different from that of other faes. Perhaps that is from growing up with five brothers and no sisters...who knows? Though it is almost certain that fact played at least some role in developing the deviating female. To begin, Liseli was often a key target in play fighting and wrestling - boys, ya know? - so from the beginning, she had to learn to stick up for herself and defend herself. Though it was all in fun, this gave Liseli the skills that she would need to successfully defend herself when she needed it against anyone, even males who may double her in size. Besides skills, the play fighting also allowed her to build up her muscle strength, always having to keep up with rambunctious brothers caused her to work harder, all allowing her to gain muscles that seemed to far surpass those of her often lazy brothers. Being the only female, and last born, of the litter...the one who always was picked on...Liseli was able to work her way to the top, and basically become 'one of the boys'.

This leads to the next aspect within Liseli's personality. Though Liseli acts very feminine most of the time, and tends to flirt to great extents...she really does not realize it. She would mess around with her brothers all the time, but when those actions are transferred to non-related males, they can seem to mean totally different things. Liseli prefers males over females...really prefers them. She has seen females hurt her brothers too many times to take a liking to them, even though she is one of them. She is more comfortable with males, no matter who they are. She finds them friendlier and easier to get along with, not to mention more entertaining and outgoing. But again, this poses a problem. Liseli often will get comfortable and close with other males, and her movements of friendships are often mistaken for something more...alot of the time actually. It often poses a problem, though Liseli is sometimes oblivious to the whole situation. But even if it may seem as though Liseli is 'flirting', in a sense, she would never betray her mate, and she will always remain honest and trustworthy towards him.

So Liseli's semi-rough and tumbling side, as well as her feminine and flirtatious side, have both been exposed to some extent. While there is certainly more to this fae, these two main traits are what stand out. Her attachment to males causes her to act more harshly towards faes, often being much more lenient to males, and her years of putting up with brothers has implanted a somewhat stern, serious and often bossy attitude when it comes to doing what she wants and getting things done - all attributes which will benefit her when it comes to running a gang.

History: Though parts of Liseli's history have been briefly mentioned, we'll just go ahead and start back at the beginning. Both of Liseli's parents were pure blood Labrador Retrievers, bred for companionship rather than confirmation. She was the last born, and only female, out of a litter of five. All of the dogs in the litter were kept by their human family in order to work on their farm and be pets for their children. So Liseli grew up with five brothers, and she evolved to be more like 'one of the guys' than an annoying baby sister. But, life with her family - animal and human - did not provide enough excitement for this rambunctious fae...she needed more. Being confined to such a home did not allow her to meet anyone new, or to have any new adventures...it was just the same thing day after day.

So...Liseli left. She snuck under the fence one night and disappeared into the darkness, never to be seen. It was soon after that she ran into two different dogs, Hauze - a dashing dalmatian, and Mika - a luscious lab. To make a long story short, both of the males fell in love with Liseli, but Liseli only shared those feelings with one of the two. And the one she picked? Mika...the lab much like herself. Though she still felt as though she and Hauze had much in common, and that she still wanted him as a friend - she just felt closer to Mika, and she really was in love with him and not Hauze. So, she made her choice, and consequently - Hauze now hates Mika. And since Hauze is still constantly trying to win Liseli over, Mika hates Hauze in return. Now, this wouldn't seem so bad, but when the three dogs took over the two gangs in the city it created a rift between them. While the gangs are not necessarily 'against' each other, they do have ill feelings towards each other and tend to not associate.

Mika
Mika - you meant the world to me, you completed me, and yet...here I stand, without you once more. I didn't want you to be dead, every day I hoped and prayed that you would return, but you never did. Hauze said if you were alive, you would have come back...so, I had to admit that you were gone forever, and I have to move on.

Hauze
Even though I do not love you like I do Mika, you are still closer to me than anyone else. Since Mika's death in the fire, our relationship has grown. You comforted me in my greatest time of need, and I can never repay you for that. You were respectful to my situation, and I've finally decided that its time to move on - and I have accepted you as my mate, even though we still rule different lands.
