IN CHARACTER RULES
» Obey the Warrior Code.
When you're role playing, use the Warrior Code. It wasn't invented as simple guidelines to look over - it's pretty much law. Of course, choose what you want... But choose wrong, and prepare to be punished by your leader. If you break the Warrior Code, involve yourself in a forbidden love, attempt to leave/join a clan... No mercy will be shown to you. Leaders are smart, they aren't idiots. For example; if your character left SkyClan and rocked up on DustClan territory asking to join the clan, you are more likely to be chased out then even introduced to the leader. Forbidden loves - if your leader finds out, you may be fighting exile. Loners/rogues joining clans - just don't even bother. Most leaders will never let a cat join their clan, unless there are special cir/failstances (normally to do with the cat being part of that clans bloodline), but even then, the chances are against them.
» No one-liners.
How easy is this rule to follow! For the love of StarClan, this is an advanced role playing forum - we administrators expect at least around 200 words per post, which really isn't much. For members of a higher caliber (with their own sites, or who join multiple Warriors sites), we expect more. If you are physically capable of doing it, then just do it! We understand some members have trouble keeping up with it, but 200 is really not much at all. For new members (with little to no role play experience - which there shouldn't really be any of as this is an advanced role play), 150 words per post is the minimum... But that's just for when you start, be prepared to improve!
» No uncalled for role play.
By this, I mean don't role play things that just shouldn't be role played. This includes killing off cats without their role players permission, participating in/describing graphic breeding or kitting (this goes for excessive violence too - it's not needed), and having your cats do things that cat's just shouldn't do - as awesome as a flying, torpedo-shooting cat would be, it's not going to happen. Also, if a situation arises where your character has either a verbal or physical fight with another character, even if that character is on the verge of wanting to murder yours, that doesn't mean the person who plays that characters wants to murder you. Remember it's just a game, nobody is actually mad at you.
» Don't go crazy naming your cats.
Although I encourage the use of strange and uncommon names for your characters, Clockfoot is a little sad. Frankly, anyone who wants to name their cat Clockfoot may have some problems... Be creative with their names, we're not going to chew your heads off for going a little outside the 'Rockpaw' border. Although all of the original characters had simple names, you're not expected to use ones like that here. We like to have fun and change things around, so why not have a Winterkit? Or Lunarpaw? They may not be words exactly known by the cats, but they are still nice - and we are likely to accept them. However, there are boundaries. Try and stick to things that relate to nature or the cats lifestyles. Also, try and steer clear of the original names. Firepaw is acceptable, but I don't want to see Fireheart's and Squirrelflight's running around.
» Be mindful of the territories you're in.
Remember that the territories you're role playing in aren't part of the original series (well, they are in Firestar's Quest to some extent). If you're confused about where the borders are and what clan is next to what clan, there will be a map posted shortly explaining them. On a similar note, we don't role play with canon characters. Just because it's SkyClan doesn't mean that Leafstar is still alive, in fact the role play is set about one hundred years (in real life) after Firestar restored SkyClan. Please stick to this - obviously it's been a great deal of time since there are now three other clans coexisting with SkyClan.
