SPRING: March-May
This happens to be in some unknown area, where Spring is the best time of year for wolves.
The temperatures range from -10 C, to +30 C...I'm not good with the other one (can't spell it, sorry.) so...yah.
The hills are crested with melting piles of snow, with gentle wild flowers peeking from the white. Grass is also a general bounty during this season. 
Large game is plentiful, as the deer make their circle towards the wolves at this time. Rabbits, mice and birds are all over the place, leaving the wolves well fed..and the wildcats too...
Wildcats of all kinds and sizes roam this tiny little uncharted island and are A BIG THREAT TO THE WOLVES...
