Heavy pads hit the moist earth, making a soft splashing noise as this occured. The sounds of running waters running down and down filled the auds of the brute. His pelt was mainly a beige color, though had a mixture of black and dark brown. Light brown optics searched for anyone else that may be in the area as well. But he saw nothing, and only heard the sounds of nature. He could hear the swaying of trees when the wind blew it's fury their way. The sound of the buzzing bees, busily working away to create honey. The love songs of birds, singing their mates to sleep. It disgusted him. It was all too peaceful, and it was scary how peaceful it was. He needed some action, something better to do. He lifted his huge crania up to gaze around once more. 'Hmm...looks like no one seems to come here very often...Ah, well. I guess I'll just lay here in silence...' Came the thoughts of the beige brute. Heavy feet padded slowly forward, stopping just in front of the river bank. He felt himself sink slowly to the ground, and felt the sastifying relief of the weight he carried with him, being lifted away as he lay down on the grassy grounds.

A heavy sigh errupted from the vocals of the bored male. He prefered silence more than anything that sounded too happy. Being happy seemed to depress him a little. He never really was happy, but merely thinking of dark and cold thoughts. He felt no feelings toward anyone and didn't seem to care that he would be the only brute without a mate. 'Vixens are such chatterboxes. They talk too much, and me, I prefer silence. No vixen can sastify me and I hope to keep it that way. No matter what they may say. If those brutes dare mock me I shall rip their throats out.' Were more of the dark thoughts of the wolf. Being terriblely bored made you think a lot about the most random things sometimes. He often thought of this, but didn't seem to worry too much about it. 'Being alone is better. One is better than two or three, why do wolves say such things? Love makes wolves weak. It's pathetic. It makes wolves go head over paws for a vixen and soon they become all...lovey dovey. Ugh, just the mere thought of it sickens me. Love is for brutes who need something better to do. Now if they made fighting a hobby no one would ever need love.' The bruten continued to think. His heavy crania fell upon his own paws, auds and orbs still alert and on the look-out. 'Yes....much better...'

The tiny gems of water glistened in their vermilion blanket, welcoming the last traces of darkness for the day. The gold and emerald colored leaves shone like jewellery in the fledgling sunlight, frost melting and sliding into the beads of dew for an even more glorious effect. Spring winds pushed their way through the canopy, whipping the fur of the lingering creature.

Very slowly, very quietly, the steps taken became sharper; slicing his way through the undergrowth with power. Wisps of fog wafted through the large trunks, dispersing into scattered patches of morning dew over the assorted flora. Cold, cruel gaze set upon the figure resting so peacefully at banks of the river. Lips curled over his teeth in an agonisingly angered smile. "Well what do we 'ave 'ere then" The voice that left the fridget beast's lips dripped with displeasure upon meeting this trespasser on his little scout around.

"And who might you be? I hope you have a very, very good reason to why I should not slice your head from your shoulders." Zoloh was never one at making first impressions, so why try? He irritatingly held his regal head high, piercing silver eyes gleamed with malice and another bone-chilling growl rumbled in his throat. He had recently claimed the rank of Lead Warrior, and he carried this with pride. Tail stiffened and curled threateningly over so it touched his lower back. Oh no, Zoloh was not impressed. No, not impressed at all. What a shame this unknown brute happened to cross him in a good mood. It would be a much more interesting scene if Zoloh had been drowning himself in his own dark thoughts and avoiding others like he usually did in his foul moods. Ah yes, that would have been fun. However, Zoloh's patience was quite short. If Naitto played his cards right he would find out first hand why Zoloh was known as the lead warrior around these parts.

He held himself over Naitto, his stance demanded respect, and there was no question to it. Ah, how perfect would it be if this brute just so happened to be arrogant.

The fun had just begun.

Orbs flickered upon, a strong scent coming to his nostrils. He slowly stood up, the scent becoming stronger and stronger by the minute. Auds perked and twitched, hearing the padding of a bruten nearby. He saw him come into his line of vision, a smirk playing on his lips. 'What ignorance. I found it quite amusing when brutes are stuck up like this one seems to be. I suppose he is looking for a fight. They always are. But I am in no mood to fight today. Maybe I'll just annoy the hell out of him for a bit. Toy with him, torment him....Hmm...sounds like a good plan to me.' Came dark thoughts of the beige colored bruten. He rolled his orbs up at the sky, stifling a chuckle of amusement. The brute eyed the wolf cautiously, knowing what would happen once he had really pissed him off. 'Perhaps I will have some fun today.' He told himself in his thoughts, grinning darkly.

"You amuse me wolf. You think that you can remove my head? Yeah, I have a good reason why you shouldn't. But I think I'll keep you guessing. I like to have a bit of mystery to a wolf." The brute answered, flicking his tail as he circled about the Lead Warrior. Naitto was an average sized wolf, but he was fairly good in battle. He could tell right away that this wolf was a warrior of some sort, by the way he was acting before him. "I'm dubbed Naitto, you need not know what it means. And what may your curse be? And why such hatrid towards a wolf you have only just met?" Naitto questioned, heavy paws padding gentley along the moist ground. He let out a rather loud yawn, rolling his tongue in his mouth as he did so. This was his way of trying to annoy the brute and perhaps it should work, perhaps it wouldn't. He smirked again, catching the familiar scent of Layla on the brute. "From the pack Tainted Hearts are we? I recently paid a visit to your borders." Naitto continued, still circling around the other brute.

A twin of rather bulky stature could be seen snaking through the foliage. His thick peltage hung tight on his muscular frame, accenting every movement he made. The treeline was barely highlighted now as the sun fell deeply below the horizon, soaking the evening sky in tangerine pinks and sultry reds. Auditives hung forward in silent rebuke, as they normally did, displaying the malice and sin that was held in his features.

Talons gripped the ever unthawing soil as he trotted, nostrils wide to inhale all sccents about him. Optics never stopped rolling about. Tarik was searching. For what would be strongly voiced soon enough. The sound of speech was brought to him on a cool wind, allowing for a sudden glimpse of their conversation. Layla's twin pressed further into the brush, seeking to find the source of that at-each-other's-throats pair. As they came into view, Tarik reared back, giving a bark of disgruntled greeting.

"Might either of you know the whereabouts of a femme dubbed Layla? She's about my height, indentical to me in nearly every way, and quite the bitch."

He gave the two a glimpse of his pearlies, brow cocking as he swirled into a sitting position.

Zoloh eyed him in boredom, falling heavily to his haunches as the sound of his voice. Ears erected sharply forward, catching each smart-ass remark. A bleak chuckle left his lips, cold eyes doing a light roll as he spoke "You are a very easily amused wolf, my dear, confused, little friend." He said, glare followed the wolf in a circle around him. Why did everyone circle him?? He grunted, Zoloh was not in a mood to fight, despite Naitto's assumption. Zoloh smirked to himself, visage wrinkling as more words drooled from the wolf's mouth.

"Actually, I couldn't give a damn, really." he said between gritted teeth. A brow raised at the request for his name. At this, he returned to his paws "But did you not say you liked a bit of mystery to a wolf?" O sarcasm, his best friend. A cruel smirk lifted his lip over his teeth in a snarl. And why such hatred towards a wolf you have only just met? With this, Zoloh scoffed. This was not hatred; it was simply Zoloh in general. He was like this to anyone except for Layla, because he knew that she would not tolerate anything like it, and kick his sorry ass back out to being a nomad. He simply avoided the question, for Naitto would soon figure it out for himself.

So he was not a stanger to these lands? He had probly met Layla already. "Well that’s nice isn't it." he said, sarcasm dripped from each syllable. As long as this odd brute continued to test his patience he would return his lack of respect with his own. Zoloh found this only to be fair.

Naitto stopped pacing, orbs flickering on to the new bruten. He observed him carefully, a low rumble errupting from his vocals. 'Great more wolves....And I thought this day would actually go well.' Naitto thought, rolling his orbs again. "Probably somewhere in her pack. And now who might you be?" Naitto questioned, completely ignoring Zoloh. He wasn't in one of the best moods that day and wasn't really looking forward to a fight one of his first days here. A smirked played on the maw of the beige male, as he continued to watch the twin of Layla. 'Fine, refuse to tell me his name then I refuse to speak to him.' He thought, giving Zoloh one quick glance. He let his gaze wander back over to the other brute and he smirked again. "She's your twin, eh? You from the same pack as her then? Or are you her opposite in personality?" Naitto questioned, brow raising quizically. Sharp talons dug into the soft earth that he stood upon. Slowly he sat down on the ground, bushy tassle curling up beside him as he did so.

[ adds this to my last post]

Eyes rolled toward a new voice, it seemed familiar in a way. Lip twitched, as if he had gone to snarl but stopped. A complete makeover followed up, it warped his features into a fascinated/confused mix. Head tilted as he glanced from Tarik to Naitto, yes, of course he knew where Layla could possibly be - but tell them? Doubt it. Zoloh snorted at Naitto, getting the obvious hint that he was being ignored. Oh well. Zoloh continued to watch in silence, he had been deprived of mixing with wolves of his own gender for quite some time. And now, he was surrounded by two others who were just as big headed as he was. He could sense conflict rising it's welcome head.

Tarik looked over at the brutes with a hint of enjoyment in his orbs. Stupid, stupid males. If they're not assassins, they're complete idiots. Muzzle lifted and a haughty chuckle broke the air. Talons gripped the soil as he rose. Haunches extended to shove him further upwards, allowing him to prepare for a cat-like climb along a fallen tree. The strong scent of dying evergreen was forced into his nostrils. Long, brittle branches caught his tassel every few seconds. And the silence only continued for so long.

"So that goddamn whore found herself a place to live, huh?"

He paused, left brow cocked to show his point. Oh, stupid, stupid mutts they were, too. Naitto would feel dumb when all the sudden Layla's head fell off....and oops. It fell into his hefty paws.

"My name is Tarik. That is all you need know for now, brute. Until I might know your names and ranks along this area."

[Holy writers block, batman! Worst case yet!]

Zoloh gave a lithe roll of his eyes before he too forced his body upright. He stared up at the irritating male who seemed to have some connection to Layla, hopeing desperatly for him to fall from the branch and make an unlucky landing on a pile of sharp sticks, unfortunatly impaling himself and dieing a slow painful death. Zoloh let a small content smile flicker upon his black lips. Chest swelled as he drew a breath "Well, I will let you two ladies carry on," He paused for a moment to let his gaze fall back to Naitto with a grunt "I'm off."

The ashen brute turned on his heel to trek back to the dens where he would hopefully find his Alphess. He was quite sure she would be interested in hearing about his colorful encounter.
