In the morning light we could now see where we were. Our Safari Test was built on a wooden platform with a deck.

Numerouse birds ran about the area and vultures crash-landed into the trees where they were nesting nearby.

Because of our car problems - the boot was jammed closed & we had arranged a swap of vehicles with the hire company- our drives were limited. We did a loop along the H7, S140 and S36. We wrote a list of what we saw within a certain time zone, which is fun, particularly when you look back and read how much you did see sometimes and how little at other times.

After swapping cars we continued our drive and stopped here to get out and enjoy the view. Kruger Park has a few areas where you can get out of your car at your own risk !

Up at a reasonably early hour to pack and leave for our longish trip to Shingwedzi - sunrise from our deck.
