1. Introduction

Welcome to RF Online! As part of Level Up's commitment to make RF Online a great place to meet and interact, we require that you abide by our Magna Carta or Code of Conduct. We have tried our best to make the policies as fair and just as possible. This document clearly defines the penalties, offenses and the manner on how to report offenses. We suggest that, as your first step before playing RF Online, you READ THROUGH EVERYTHING in the Magna Carta.

The guidelines and rules listed below explain what behavior is expected of you and what behavior you can expect from other community members. Note that the following guidelines are not exhaustive, and may not address all manner of offensive behavior. As such, the Game Masters (GMs) shall have full discretion to address any behavior that they feel is inappropriate. Also, suspension or banishment from the game will always result in the same regarding forum access. Level Up! reserves the right to suspend your access to the game (and/or forums) at any time for reasons that include, but are not necessarily limited to, your failure to abide by these guidelines.

We ask that you treat fellow players with respect and courtesy and that you conduct yourself in a civilized manner when participating in the game and the forums.

These policies are not language-restrictive. Any message or language will always be subject to the penalties listed, whether it is in English, Filipino, or any other language.

It is the responsibility of the players to be aware of these guidelines. Failure to be so informed does not release, nor excuse, them from coverage of these guidelines.

2. THE LEVEL UP EULA
The Level Up End User License Agreement or EULA is the backbone of the MC. Familiarize yourself with the EULA HERE:

You are about to join an online community (the "Community") provided and operated by Level Up! Inc. (the "Company"). YOU SHOULD CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (THE "AGREEMENT") BEFORE INSTALLING, COPYING OR OTHERWISE USING THE SOFTWARE PROGRAM. BY DOING ANY OR ALL OF THE FOREGOING ACTS, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

Your participation in the game and membership in the Community shall be governed by the following terms and conditions:
The computer software installs a massively multi-media online game (hereafter referred to as the "Game" or "Game Client") into your hardware to allow you to play the Game through your account (the "Account") through an online medium for pay to play via the internet (the "Service'), which the Company/Licensor (as hereafter defined) hereby grants, and by installing the Game Client you thereby accept a limited, non-exclusive license and right to install the Game Client for your personal use and agree that all use of the Game Client is subject to this License Agreement, which you must accept before you can use your Account to play the Game through access to the Service. Licensor reserves the right to update, modify or change the provisions of this License Agreement at any time.

1. OWNERSHIP

1.1 All title, ownership rights and intellectual property rights in and to the Game and all copies thereof, as well as in and to items used and/or incorporated in the Game, including, but not limited to, any titles, computer codes, themes, objects, characters, character names, stories, dialog, catch phrases, locations, concepts, artwork, character inventories, structural or landscape designs, animations, sounds, musical compositions, audio-visual effects, storylines, character likenesses, methods of operation, moral rights, any related documentation and "applets" (such items being hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Intellectual Property") are owned and/or expressly licensed to Company by the owner of the Game (the "Licensor"). The Game and the Intellectual Property are protected by the copyright laws of the Philippines , international copyright treaties and conventions and other laws. All rights are reserved. The Game may contain certain licensed materials, and the licensors of those materials may enforce their rights in the event of any violation of this License Agreement.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES OF END USER

2.1. You may not use the website of the Company or the Game (the "Website"), or the Game, to promote or solicit commercial activities to and from the other players or members. As such, you may not use the website to post solicitations or advertisements, nor shall you use the same to send spam/junk e-mail. You are hereby prohibited from posting any links to other websites, particularly those to or from any other MMORPG publishers, distributors, or competition. The Company reserves the right to delete and/or terminate any such links or posts without informing the user.

2.2. You are encouraged to report any bugs, errors or suggestions to enhance the Game experience through the proper protocols and procedures being used by the Company. You may do this by visiting our online Customer Support System at www.levelupsupport.ph .

2.3. You agree to be solely responsible for your interactions with the other Community participants/members. To this end, you shall be solely responsible for the contents of any post made by you in the Gameroom and/or Website, provided, however, that the Company shall have the right to exercise its rights with respect to content considered as Offensive Content (as defined below). Notwithstanding the exercise by the Company of such rights, you specifically agree that the Company is and shall not be responsible or liable in any manner for any threatening, defamatory, obscene, offensive or illegal content or conduct of any other member of the Community against you or any other person.

2.4. The Company shall have the right to review and delete any content, message or such other posting (collectively "Content") that in the sole judgment of the Company violates this Agreement or which might be offensive, illegal, or might violate the rights, harm or threaten the safety of other players, or infringe upon the rights of other players/members. The following Content (hereafter referred to as "Offensive Content") shall not be allowed in the Game or in the Website:

a. messages/content that promote violence, hatred, physical harm, use of prohibited and/or regulated substances, crime, harassment, obscenity, lewd and scandalous behavior and the like, or that may be slanderous or libelous, or obscene or pornographic in nature;

b. messages/content that provide instructions on the commission of illegal acts, violence, acts of terrorism, abuse of persons and other criminal or damaging acts, or links to websites that may contain the aforesaid instructions;

c. messages/content containing commercial activities within the Website; and

d. any other Content similar to any of the above enumerated items.

2.5. For security reasons, the Company encourages you not to post your personal information, particularly your password(s), indiscriminately within the Gameroom and/or Website. When using computers which third parties have access to, the Company further encourages you to exercise recognized precautionary measures to prevent third parties from accessing your Account and personal information. The Company shall not be liable for any personal information that you disclose to the other members/players of the Game or other members of the Community, or which they may gain access to by reason of your inadvertence or through methods not within the control of the Company. Neither shall the Company be liable for any damages that you may sustain by reason of such disclosure of or access to your personal information.

2.6. You shall not transmit, post, distribute, or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior consent of the Company and/or the owner of such proprietary rights. You agree not to transmit, post, distribute or reproduce in any way any material that violates the rights of another, including but not limited to the intellectual property rights thereof. You specifically acknowledge and agree that the Company shall not be liable to any party for the infringement or violation of its rights, including its intellectual property rights. In the event of a violation of this provision, the Company shall be entitled to avail of all remedies provided for herein and under applicable law.

2.7. You are solely responsible for your interactions with the other players of the Game or members of the Community and shall at all times maintain decorum and respectful behavior towards the other players and members.

2.8. You shall abide by all applicable local laws in your use of the Website and/or Gameroom and shall not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other systems or networks connected to the Website. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU MAY BE PROSECUTED BOTH CIVILLY AND CRIMINALLY FOR ANY VIOLATION OF THIS PROVISION.

2.9. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password(s), and you will be responsible for all uses of your password(s), whether or not authorized by you. The Company does not warrant that the Website or the Game shall be free of viruses and other harmful components, or that the same is hack-proof or safe from computer hackers. Hence, the security of your Account is your sole responsibility, and the Company exhorts you to take all precautionary measures to safeguard the integrity of your operating system and your accounts when using the Gameroom and/or Website. You are urged to take all reasonably available and/or generally accepted methods of ensuring such security, such as the installation of anti-virus software and firewalls in your personal computer. The Company is not responsible in the event that your Account is "hacked," or if your Account or computer is damaged by a virus, or for any other issues with your computer or your Account that you may experience in connection with your use of the Game. If you think that your Account has been compromised, we urge you to contact the NBI or CIDG. The Company will assist these agencies on a "best efforts" basis.

2.10. The Company shall not be liable for any damages you may sustain as a result of computer viruses and other harmful components, or as a result of hacking or tampering by third parties. The Company will NOT compensate any hacked or compromised Account.

2.11. You warrant that you have the authority to post the information or material that you have posted or may post in the Website, and that you have the right to grant to the Company and the other members of the Community the right to access of and use of such information and materials.

2.12. You agree to indemnify and hold the Company, its officers and employees, harmless from any claim, demand, or damage, including reasonable attorney's fees, asserted by any third party due to or arising from the content you transmit to or through, as well as your conduct in or arising from the use of the Game and/or Website.

2.13. You agree that you shall not, under any circumstances:

(i) exploit the Game or any of its parts, including, but not limited to, the Game Client, for any commercial purpose, including, but not limited to, use at a cyber cafe, computer gaming center or any other location-based site without the express written consent of the Company;

(ii) host, provide or develop matchmaking services for the Game or intercept, emulate or redirect the communication protocols used by Licensor/Company in any way, including, without limitation, through protocol emulation, tunneling, packet sniffing, modifying or adding components to the Game, use of a utility program or any other techniques now known or hereafter developed, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, unauthorized network play over the Internet, network play utilizing commercial or non-commercial gaming networks or as part of content aggregation networks; or

(iii) create or maintain, under any circumstance, any unauthorized connections to the Game or the Service. All connections to the Game and/or the Service, whether created by the Game Client or by other tools and utilities, may only be made through methods and means expressly approved by Company. Under no circumstance may you connect, or create tools that allow you or others to connect, to the Game's proprietary interface or interfaces other than those expressly provided by Company for public use; or

(iv) do or cause to be done any act similar to or analogous to any of the foregoing enumerated items.

3. OTHERS

THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE IN ANY WAY FOR THE LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO PLAYER CHARACTERS, ACCOUNTS, STATISTICS OR USER PROFILE INFORMATION STORED IN THE GAME AND/OR THE SERVICE. THE COMPANY SHALL DOES NOT WARRANT AN UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE, AND THE COMPANY NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INTERRUPTIONS OF SERVICE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ISP DISRUPTIONS, SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE FAILURES OR ANY OTHER EVENT WHICH MAY RESULT IN A LOSS OF DATA OR DISRUPTION OF SERVICE. IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

3.1. You acknowledge and agree that all content posted by the Company in the Website, including the advertisements found therein, and the Game software, are owned by and/or licensed to the Company and/or by its partners. You may not therefore appropriate the same for any purpose without the express authority of the Company.

3.2. In the event of cases involving abuse, hacking or other violations of this any of the provisions of this Agreement or Philippine law, the Company has the RIGHT AND OBLIGATION to provide information to the appropriate law enforcement agencies upon the latter's formal request for such information.

3.3. To protect the integrity of the Game and/or Website, the Company reserves the right to terminate and/or suspend your Account, including your participation in the Game, for any violation of the terms and conditions contained herein. The exercise of such right is without prejudice to the right of the Company to initiate a civil or criminal complaint before the proper courts in appropriate cases.

4. CHANGES TO END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

4.1. The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add to, supplement or delete any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Company will post notification of any such changes to this Agreement in the Game and/or Company Website(s) and will post the revised version of this Agreement in this location. The Company may elect, in its sole discretion, but shall not be obligated, to provide notice by other means, such as e-mail, postal mail, through official fora or via pop-up screens. All changes shall be effective immediately on the date of notice.

3. SERVER POLICIES

Altrax

This is RF Online's story and Role-Play server. Events on Altrax Server are story-centric and form the basis for stories that will be featured outside the game. Play here if you want to experience RF as another world and build your own science fantasy legend. To keep the RPG “flavor”, character names are closely monitored in the Altrax server.

Nexus, Praxis, Xenos and Calix

RF Online's ultra-competitive Power Gamer servers. With a high population and extremely competitive residents, these servers feature events where players compete with each other for in-game and/or real life rewards. Play here if you think you can keep up among the most competitive players in Philippine Online gaming! Please note that these players are highly competitive and keeping pace with them means you have to invest in time commitment. If you think you can keep up with this rigorous pace, then these servers are for you.

4. OFFENSES

All offense reports will be reviewed by the GM Team. Offenses have varying degrees of severity (see the Offense Table). It is up to the GM Team to review and administer the appropriate demerit based on the evidence and facts of the case. The categories are as follows:

4.1. Verbal Harassment

Verbal harassment pertains to verbal actions that are repetitive, persistent and are threatening and disturbing to players, RF Boarders, Community and Level Up! employees, Moderators and other people associated with it.

This includes but is not limited to verbal attacks on the following:

Race, nationality and ethnicity
Deliberate and explicit effort to promote inequality and undermine the aggrieved person's country of origin, nationality or racial background in real life. This includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing language or images that promote racial/ethnic/national hatred, recognized as a racial/ethnic slur, or allude to a symbol of racial/ethnic/national hatred.

Gender
A deliberate and explicit verbal attack on another person's gender preference and sexual orientation.

Religion
Actions or behaviors that undermine another person because of their religious preference or for what they do or do not believe. This includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing language or images that negatively portray recognized religions or religious figures.

4.2. Sexual Harassment

Any unwelcome advance, action, behavior and/ verbal advance that is sexual in nature making the game or message board hostile and offensive. This includes but is not limited to advances on men or women, regardless of sexual orientation. This includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing language or images that refer to extreme and/or violent sexual acts and extremely violent real life actions.

This includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing language or images that insultingly refer to any aspect of sexual orientation pertaining to themselves or other players.

4.3. Grief Accounts

These are accounts made to scam or harass other players. Any account caught committing acts of harassment as defined in the RF Magna Carta will automatically be assumed to be a Grief Account. Any account with characters named specifically to cause harassment will similarly be defined as a grief account. Grief accounts are exempt from the Reasonable Doubt rule.

4.4. Communication Standards Violation

Profanity
Use of word or words in chat, in-game or in the message boards that are offensive, derogatory, blasphemous, sexist, obscene or vulgar in nature. This includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing language or images that contain inappropriate references to human anatomy or bodily functions, or are pornographic.

Real Life Threats
This includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing language or images that refer to violence in any capacity that is not directly related to RF Online Philippines. This includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing language or images that insultingly or threateningly refer to other characters, players, Level Up! Employees or groups of people.

Trolling / Verbal harassment
Purposely posting inflammatory or incorrect information for the sole purpose of provoking an emotional response from other players, community, Level Up! Employees and other people associated with Level Up!

Spamming
Excessive communicating of the same phrase, non-constructive posts, similar phrases, or pure gibberish either in the boards or in game.

Illegal drugs or activities
This includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing language or images that refer to abusing illegal drugs, or performing illegal activities.

Commercial Posts
This includes any non-RF related businesses, organizations or websites.

Race chat abuse
The use of Race Chat is a privilege, not a right.� This is the most closely monitored chat in the game.� Abuse of race chat includes, but is not limited to the following:

* Use of race chat for anything non-RF related
* Profanity / foul language
* Being insulting / defaming towards a player / guild / your own race in general
* Giving out IRL information and issuing threats
* Typing garbage or meaningless words

Others
This clause covers all similar and related offenses relative to the above.

4.5. Non-Verbal Harassment

Specific non-verbal actions are defined but are not limited to the following:

Kill Stealing
This occurs when one steals the drops/loots of a monster killed by another player.

Quest Stealing
Deliberately sabotaging another player's effort to complete a specific quest.

Grief Killing
Repetitive and deliberately annoying another player by joining into the kill or damage without explicit consent from that player.

Chaos potion abuse
The use of chaos potion in killing lower level players or players who cannot defend themselves either through level gap or equipment differences.� Players abusing the use of chaos potion will only be sanctioned if the following conditions are met:

1. Player was killed at least twice.
2. There is a gap of at least 10 levels (for players below level 30), and at least 5 levels for players for players above level 30.
3. In the case of players being killed only once by the offender, if the screenshot/video submitted shows the offender killing other players, this will be deemed as a valid case of chaos potion abuse.
4. In the case of a player filing for chaos potion abuse against players of a similar level (usually in the case of multiple players ganging up on another player), his evidence must clearly show the following (must be in video format):
a. The names of the offending players.
b. That he was really unable to fight back.

4.6. Real Money Trade (RMT-PHP)/Inter-server Trading

Due to the high possibility of fraud, advertising for inter-server or real money trading is not allowed in RF Online or on the official message boards. Level Up! Inc. will not remedy nor be held responsible for failure of any transactions of this nature.
This includes discussions on inter-server trades, trading for goods in real life, and selling of in-game items for real life currency and vice versa.

4.7. Impersonation

Impersonating a GM, Character, CCR or Level Up! Employee, Philippine Government Entity or Official, Forum Moderator is not allowed. Any character found to be making claims on behalf of or in the name of the above and found not to be authorized will be sanctioned in the most necessary way possible.

4.8. Bug Abuse

The act of exploiting inherent in-game bugs in order to gain advantages over other players in terms of power-leveling (PL), stat training (PT), or player killing (PK).� This includes (but is not limited to) the following:

Terrain bug abuse
The use of terrain bugs to access areas not normally accessible to players to either leave a settlement, PL, PT, or kill players (e.g., Haram and Armory-213 safe-zone terrain bugs)

Guard tower blind spot abuse
The exploitation of guard tower blind spots to attack players in what is supposed to be a non-PK zone (e.g., Anacaade settlement, Armory-213, and Bellato Wharf)

Ninja-moves
The elimination of skill/spell animation to hasten the execution of multiple� kills/spells against fellow players or monsters.

Potion bug abuse
The elimination of potion cool-down time.

4.9. Game Integrity Infringement/Use and promotion of 3rd Party Program

This is the use of any program that manipulates or alters the communications between a legitimate client and the game server. This includes and is not limited to: programs designed to automate features of RF Online, duplicate or modify items, stats, skills, characters, or cause any alteration in the behavior of the game. Altering the game client will qualify it as a third party program. This includes the promotion of hacks, cheats, exploits or private servers.

This includes posting links to cheats, hacks, malicious viruses/programs, unlicensed copyrighted material, MP3 and Anime episode sites, CD key generators, or sites that present ways to get them.

This includes promoting websites that pose as official Level Up! websites that are geared towards stealing players� account information through fraud.

People who make statements in support or in tolerance of using 3rd party programs or private server service are subject to the same penalty.

6. IN-GAME COMMUNICATION POLICIES

Inside RF Online there are three ways to communicate:

1. PRIVATE CHAT (usually called "PM" or Private Message) In private chat, not everybody can see what you are saying. This applies to whispers, private messages, guild chat, and party chat.
2. PUBLIC CHAT - everybody near you or in the same map can see what you are saying. This applies to regular chat and map chat.
3. RACE CHAT - this is only available to the race High Council and Archons and is used to organize the race.

POLICIES

Private Chat - Not everybody can see what you are saying. This applies to whispers, private messages, guild chat, and party chat. Private chat is not closely monitored. You can say whatever you want to whomever you want as long as you do not offend the other person. However, PMs can be reported as harassment, etc should the receiving party deem it necessary. Private Chat is designated by fonts in the following colors: GREEN (private message), YELLOW (party) and OLIVE (guild chat).

Public Chat - In Public Chat, everybody near you can see what you are saying. Public chat is watched by the GMs and other players to make sure it is not offensive or derogatory. Public Chat is designated by a WHITE color font.

Some illegal actions (but not limited to) in Public Chat:

* Profanity/Foul Language
* Flooding/Spamming - Please do not fill up the chat screen with useless letters or numbers. Please do not send whispers or private messages to a user again and again.
* References to illegal drugs or activities (either abusing illegal drugs or performing illegal activities)

Map Chat - In Map Chat, everyone in the same general map can read what you are saying. Map Chat is watched by the GMs and other players to make sure it is not offensive or derogatory. Public Chat is designated by a BLUE color font. Offenses committed in Map Chat tend to have an aggravating effect since it is seen by a lot of people.

Some illegal actions (but not limited to) in Map Chat:

* Profanity/Foul Language
* Giving out personal real life information of another person without their consent name, address, phone number, email address, age, profession, physical description (except gender) including RL threats.
* Flooding/Spamming - Please do not fill up the chat screen with useless letters or numbers. Please do not send whispers or private messages to a user again and again.
* RL Advertising (Any non-RF related businesses, organizations or websites) - This includes discussion (in whatever context) of any game other than RF Online.
* References to illegal drugs or activities (either abusing illegal drugs or performing illegal activities)
* Being insulting or defaming of your own race. - Please do not make fun of your own race. We are all trying to work together to win!
* Telling people to play any other game unrelated to RF Online

Race Chat - In Race Chat, everyone in the race can read what you are saying. In order to respect the playing experience of players, Race Chat is the most strictly controlled of all the channels. The Archon and Consuls may only use Race chat to discuss Race matters or to organize the Race during Chip Wars. We call upon these leaders to set an example and be responsible in the use of this channel. Off topic posts and idle/nonsense use of the Race chat is strictly forbidden . Race chat is designated by the color BRIGHT TEAL.

Some illegal actions (but not limited to) in Race Chat:

* Profanity/Foul Language - You are the leader of your race. Please do not use bad words.
* Advertising or Selling (soliciting goods and services both in-game or out of game)
* Using any other language aside from English or Filipino - Please remember that players come from all over the Philippines .Using any other regional dialect or foreign language may upset them. Please do not use txt language when typing in race chat: not everybody can understand the short cut words of txt language.
* Being insulting or defaming of your own race. - People will look up to you for guidance and leadership. You are the boss. But don't insult the people below you.
* Being insulting or defaming of any guild in your own race. - Please try to be fair to everyone in the race.
* Using the Race Chat like a radio station to give out personal greetings unrelated to management of the race ("Happy Birthday Joey").
* Giving out personal real life information: name, address, phone number, email address, age, profession, physical description (except gender) including RL threats.
* Typing garbage or meaningless words. - Please do not fill up the chat screen with useless letters or numbers. Please do not send whispers or private messages to a user again and again. There are better ways to burn brain cells.
* Posting and revealing false, unofficial or unreleased RF Online game content, bug solutions, patches and those similar in nature.

7. HACK AND SCAM POLICIES

Name Policy

Ownership:
Names are strictly on a first come, first served basis in RF Online. Name rights also hold throughout all servers. (So this means if you are called RayShaw on Nexus server, you have the right to the RayShaw name on all servers.)
Should two characters have the same name, the player who created his character first can request for a rename of the other player. Our system will provide proof of which character made theirs first based on character creation logs.

Renaming:
We will only rename characters and guild names under the following circumstances:

* We changed the original name for any reason
* The original name is named in any of the following:
o Indecent Sexual Acts
o Inappropriate reference to human, animal, or alien anatomy or bodily functions (ex. Crappingman, Robopisser, Elfboobs)
o National, Religious, Racial or Ethnic Insult/Ridicule/Negative Sentiment (ex. Ussucks, Blackmankiller)
o Insults referring to other characters, players, groups, guilds/clans, cafes, Level Up! employees/departments/partners or Level Up! Inc itself
o Based on major religious figures or religions (ex. Jesus Christ, Islam, Buddah)
o Illegal drugs or activities (ex. Shabu, Daterape, Whoringallnight, Gangbangbaby)
o Any non-Level Up! related businesses, organizations, web-sites, e-mail or contact numbers (ex. Loseweight970337568, Wwwdotdiscountsdotcom, Drinkcocacola)
o Trademark/licensed by a company or individual (ex. KFC, Jollibee)
o Level Up! GM, Level Up! Employee, Play tester, Forum Sentinel (real names and aliases)
o Moderators from other Level Up! Message boards -- the names of any moderator from the other message boards of Level Up! such as RagnaBoards, PWBoards, etc. (real names and aliases)
o Any other names that Level Up! deems as inappropriate for the game.

We all want your RF Online gaming experience to be as fun and enjoyable as possible. One of the worst things that can happen to your valued items and accounts is to be hacked or scammed.

Scammed items will not be entertained. This can be viewed as player negligence.

Kindly use or maximize the use of the UTS for your transactions to avoid scams.

However, we can give you the next best thing - tips on HOW NOT to fall into the traps of scrupulous individuals. These are below:

"DON'T BE A VICTIM" TIPS

Don't lend your valuable items to people you do not trust
Trust is always earned. If you don't want your item stolen, don't let it out of your inventory or storage. Even "close" guildmates, guildmaster or friends can sometimes turn against you (especially if there's real money to be made with your item or account). It's better to be safe than sorry.

Don't believe those pretending to be Level Up! employees, Vanguards or GMs
Real GMs and/or LU! employees will NOT ask you for items, CP, etc. They will also never ask for your item to be upgraded for FREE. Don't fall into the traps of these scammers. When in doubt, report them or call our customer service hotline at (632) 751-9611 to verify. GMs and Vanguards will NEVER, EVER, EVER ask for your username, password or secret answer and question (we've always made this clear).

Keep your account info secret
Always keep your account information safe. RF Online Philippines does NOT support "piloting" or account sharing due to threats it poses on account security. Remember that it is YOUR ACCOUNT and YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. More often than not, hacks and theft happens through account sharing and/or negligence. Always change your passwords regularly, delete the new password e-mail in your inbox and make certain that your computer system and software(s) are free from Trojans, viruses and worms.

Trades are final. Beware.
Any trade or deal between any individual or group is deemed FINAL. Thus, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that you are getting a good deal. RF GMs will not process or entertain those who were duped or "suckered" into a scam/trade/deal. We also want our players to learn from their mistakes so that these might not happen again. But of course, if you're reading this document, you're way ahead of the others since you know what to avoid.

Choose your friends wisely
Trust should be earned and not given. When choosing friends or allies inside the game, we advise you to be careful and don't readily give out your trust (like lending items or even giving them your account info). When you join a guild or player group, you must abide by their policies and rules (on bosshunts, lootsharing, etc). If you think you are getting the "short end of the stick" or dissatisfied with their policies, you are always free to leave.

Hack Policy

Players may file a restoration request through Customer Support for any unexpected incidents that causes players to lose certain in-game items, currency, characters, or attributes.

Restoration request will be denied if Customer Support verifies the following:

* Accidental Deletion, Trade, or Drop
* Accidental Sale to Vendors or Non-Player Characters (NPCs)
* Losses due to Scamming
* Losses due to any type of User Error
* Lent Items
* Late Report. Cases reported more than 3 days after the actual date of hacking cannot be entertained by our investigation team.
* Only Accounts level 50 will be entertained��

8. HOW TO REPORT

This clause only covers general overview on how a player can submit misconduct reports. There are two ways:

* In-game through game moderators
* Website through Customer Support

* In-game Support
* Customer Support (Website)

Process:

* Player should have an existing My LU Account.
o If none, they should register an account to My Level Up at http://my.levelupgames.ph and link their RF Game Account.

* Player should have an activated My Level Up! CS Account.
o To activate their My Level Up CS Account, player just need to enter their My Level Up Username and My Level Up Password to the login page http://support.levelupgames.ph

How to file a Bug Report

GAME / PRODUCT BUGS:
In line with the regular inspection of the performance of all games, Customer Support compiles documented cases of features or mechanics that are not functioning as expected. These bugs or glitches are generally classified as follows.

How to file a Player Misconduct Report
Requirements for Valid Request:
o Offensive character name being reported
o Type of Misconduct [General Misdemeanor and General Fraud]
o Server
o Map of Incident
o Date and Time of Incident
o Number of times player committed same offense:
o Screenshots of the offensive player with name highlighted or clearly visible
o The Screenshot must be filed in the CS! Page ONLY and within 48 hours upon the date and time of the incident occurred.

9. APPEALS PROCESS

We believe that every player has the right to be considered innocent until proven guilty, so every suspended account has an equal chance of being released should sufficient evidence be provided to prove your innocence.

If your account has been suspended, and you wish to contest this, first confirm that your case is under investigation by filing a ticket at support.levelupgames.ph or calling the Customer Care hotline 02-7519611

Should our Customer Care Representative inform you that your account has already been permanently banned, and then the RF GM Team has already compiled enough evidence to justify this course of action. However, if your account is under investigation, please perform the following steps in order to expedite your claim:

1. Create an appeal letter with your account information (Username, Character name, Server. Race, Level, Guild when applicable)
1. Please keep the tone of your letter respectful, as the chance to appeal is NOT a right but a privilege given to you.
2. Include in the appeal letter possible reasons why your account has been suspended, and your explanations for such actions.
3. Provide screenshots if able, and when applicable
4. Do not try to appeal to our emotions. As fellow gamers, we feel for you, but as people trying to run a fair game, we can only look at the facts.

2. Send an email to vessago@levelupgames.ph in the following format:
1. Subject: Appeal <Character Name> <Server>
2. Body: Appeal letter

3. Wait for a reply, and keep in mind the sheer number of players who are submitting appeals.

4. As soon as the GM Team reviews your letter, you will personally receive an email regarding the status of your appeal.

On a personal note, for those players who have been permanently banned for Game Integrity Infringement, please take into consideration the thousands of legitimate gamers who you have lessened the enjoyment of the game due to your personal and selfish ambitions. We hope that this experience will serve as a lesson to you, and that the next time you decide to play an online game, you remember that you are part of a community, and that everything you do will have consequences in the world you want to be part of.

11. Suspension List

Suspension list is a list of players that have been sanctioned for an offense. There are two types of suspension lists:

12. FINAL WORD

We, the Level Up RF Online GM Team, working in unison with the developers and makers of the game, CCR of Korea, are constantly doing our best to make the game and forums flawless for our players.

This Herculean task is indeed overwhelming. Honestly, it is difficult to do it alone. We rely on your support, our dear players, to make RF Online a great game for EVERYONE.

We all know that this is a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG. The key word here is "Massively Multiplayer". Note that you are playing RF Online with thousands of other players who may or may not share your ideas towards the game. Language, posts, in-game chat messages or images that may not be offensive for you may be deemed offensive or insulting by others. Kindly consider the fact that your actions (both in the boards and in the game) may have a different effect on other players.

The mutual element here is R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Although different players may have different opinions, let's keep a healthy attitude and respect each other as individuals. The Golden Rule holds true here: "Do unto others what you want others to do unto you."

RF Online is constantly evolving and we're all working hard to make the game fair and fun for all of you. But it's all now up to YOU to breathe life into Novus and contribute into the epic war that is RF Online.

There are only a couple of rules that you need to remember so that your RF Online experience will be a memorable one: 1) the Golden Rule (above) and 2) Have FUN!
