Rylie was in between classes, and she was feeling really energetic from sitting for too long. Feeling she needed to use some of this energy, and the corridor ahead of her pretty clear, she started into a run, flying past the few people there.

Sarah was standing at the end of the hall way watching this crazy girl coming running through. She pulled out her wand and pointed to the floor using nonverbal spell to create a slick spot at the girl's feet. She waited for her to come running arcoss so she could get her amusment for today.

Adrian wandered down the hall, not really sure where he was going. He figured he might stop off over in the Library, he might as well get his assignment for Defence Against the Dark Arts finished. Blaise, regardless of his tolerance for Adrian in class because his position on the Quidditch team, wasn't going to let Adrian skip out on three straight homework assignments, and had made it clear to Adrian, that while he would never make use of a punishment that would restrict him from playing Quidditch for Slytherin, he could make his free time outside of classes and quidditch very restricted, and Adrian honestly didn't feel like testing Blaise to see if he was bluffing. He probably wasn't, but Adrian was sure that Blaise would relent if Adrian threatened to quit the team, or screw up the first match against Gryffindor on purpose. As he continued to think on, a smile emerging on his face of what he envisioned Blaise would say if Adrian threatened to quit the team, he was almost knocked from his feet by someone running down the hallway. One quick glance told Adrian it was a female, and the fact that the small bump had almost caused him to fall over told him that she was running far too fast. He turned, and yelled out at her. "Hey, kid, watch where the fuck you're running. You could seriously injure someone pulling a stunt like that, namely me." Adrian's glare was authentic, but he wasn't as mad as he made himself sound. He mainly wanted to scare this girl shitless, so that an incident of the same nature wouldn't interupt his perfectly enjoyable daydreams again in the near future.

(oh, mean sad.gif lol)

Rylie continued running and caught the slick spot, and her feet started going out from under her. She quickly grabbed at the wall, but it was no use, she fell, landing on her back on the floor, looking up at the ceiling. "Ow." she said quietly, not attempting to get back up just yet.

Sarah began laughing as she watched her hit the floor. "You silly Gryffindor, you need to have more comman sence than to just go running around like that." she told her rolling her eyes as she looked at her laying on her back. She watched Adrain go by her yelling and smirked to herself.

She never really understood why some people felt the need to act so imaturally to go running through a heavily packed hallway. "I hope you learned your lesson to use your brains and know one gets hurt." she said snotty to her.

(if you read my first post carefully, its not a packed hallway)

Rylie got up, brushing herself off. "Just because you think your so cool that you have to act like your better than everyone else, doesn't mean that the rest of us have to bow down to you." she said in response to Sarah's insults. She wasn't one to care what other people thought of her, so she wasn't going to let something like this bring her down.

Adrian was just about to go on his way, feeling that Rylie had learned her lesson from falling hard on floor of the corridor, but then he heard her arguing with someone who's voice was familiar. He turned and saw Sarah, standing a few inches over Rylie, and they seemed to be in the middle of a heated conversation. Not really fancying a huge screaming match, or worse, duel, erupting in the middle of the hallway, he wandered over to the two ladies, and stepped up next to them both, smiling.

"Now, running through the hallways is a very dangerous activity, especially when there people occupying them." Adrian stated simply, looking at Rylie while he said this. His gaze then slowly shifted to Sarah. "I'm glad you made sure she knew ho dangerous this sort of thing of is, like I shouted out there a moment ago, someone could have been severly hurt." He smiled, and turned back to Rylie. "Now, I hope not to see anything like this happening in the future, this is exactly the sort of behavior I'd expect out of a Hufflepuff student." Adrian smiled, and stepped back, leaning up against the wall of the corridor, feeling satisfied with his input.

Sarah glared at the girl with some pitty. She was amused. She was about to open her mouth and say more when Adrain spoke up. This Gryffindor must be lucky, or something, for her to talk like that to her and not get a fight started. For those were figting words.

She nodded at his responce with a muse on her face. She looked at him when he was finished talking. "Nicly put my dear." she said to him.

Rylie just rolled her eyes and walked off. "No one would have gotten hurt if you weren't so hotheaded." she said over her shoulder. Expecting that an attack might be coming, she put her hands in her pockets, grabbing her wand in her right, ready just in case.

She looked at Adrain, "Oh come on, can I hex her?" she asked him smiling brightly at him. She felt like it so bad, even though she knew she wasnt worth her energy to raise her wand, she felt irritating someone today. And why couldn't it be this gryffindor?

Rylie had heard something about a hex, and started silently using the shield charm, just in case one flew her way. She still wasn't far enough away that she felt like she'd be safe from something like that.

Adrian shrugged, but then frowned and shook his head. He didn't think that hexing anyone was necessary at the moment. He glanced over at Rylie, thinking that she had probably learned her lesson, regardless of how defiant she might have been acting.

"Just leave her be." Adrian said to Sarah, turning back to face her. "There are more important things to owrry about then some stupid Gryffindor who can't control herself." He frowned, still not understanding the point of running down the corridor at top speed. A moment later, though, he decided he didn't much care. "Let's just go back to the common room. There are people there who are actually worth your energy to associate with." Adrian finished speaking, then turned, and began walking in the direction of the Slytherin Common Room.

"Oh alright. Why do you always have to be right about things?" she insisted. "Ok go ahead I'll catch up with you." she sighed. She leaned back on the wall picturing the fun she could have with her, but then desided to go back to the comman room.

She went running and jumped on Adrain's back. "Carry me my knight in shinning armor!" she smiled wrapping her legs and arms around him hoping they didn't fall.

As Rylie got further away, she figured that a hex wasn't coming her way, so she quit with the silent shielding charm. Turning a corner, she just made her way down the next hallway, thinking and wondering why everyone she met seemed to be bigheaded and full of themselves.
