Characters Name: Luna Lovegood
Characters Age / Year: 26
Characters House: Alumni Ravenclaw
Characters Family History: Luna's widowed father was the editor of The Quibbler. He thought the Daily Prophet wass a terrible paper. He was very supportive of any anti-Ministry action, and would believe anything of Fudge. Mr. Lovegood seemed to have a good relationship with Luna, taking her to the Quidditch World Cup and on overseas expeditions to look for mythical creatures. Her mother, Mrs. Lovegood, the Extraordinary Witch, dided when Luna was nine after one of the spells she was experimenting with went wrong.

Characters Personality: Luna seems to believe in things as long as there is no proof of their existence, and wanders along in her own little world most of the time. Her numerous eccentricities include tucking her wand behind her ear for safekeeping, creating animated (and frightening) hats to show her support for the various Quidditch teams, and wearing jewellery made from radishes and Butterbeer corks. She gives the impression of being scatterbrained, but observes and understands much more than others give her credit for. She has a dreamy, sing-song voice, and often speaks cryptically, but can be blunt when the occasion calls for it.

Characters Appearence: Luna has long, scraggly, dirty blonde hair, pale eyebrows, and bug-like silvery eyes that make her look perpetually surprised. She is slim and has a small but cute complextion.

Anything Else You Would Like To Add: No.

Sample Post: [As you character] [More Than 200 words]
Luna Lovegood felt a snake like sliver of the wind creep up her back. Even through her layers of eccentric clothes and cloaks, the wind affected her. The sky above her head was a dreamy, mournful grey with puffs of clouds. It looked as though the rain was trying to fall, but was stopped by the clouds. Her whole body had been covered with two shirts, sweater, jacket and cloak, along with her super-fryer pants that she had just bought at Madam Malkin's.

There was a black scarf around her scrawny neck, making her blonde hair stand out amazingly. Her eyes matched the color of the sky, and her cheeks were rosy against her pale skin, from the weather. Her feet were numb from her small shoes that she had decided to wear that morning, which she now regretted.

While walking to Number Twelve, Grimmauld Place Luna had wondered about the Order and the outcome of the war. Unlike most witches and wizards of her age, who apparated from place to place, Luna decided to walk and make a casual appearance. Luna was very much different from the wizarding folk she associated with, mostly because of her unique style and thoughts. But she had been this way ever since a student at Hogwarts, and she didn't mind it at all.

The lonely house was very close now, the stone steps in vision. Some muggles coming out of Number 11, Grimmauld Place looked at Luna funny, as if she were a polka dotted flamingo. She figured even in this weather the muggles didn't wear as much clothes as she did. She gave them smiles as they rushed into their cars, like she was going to murder them with her own hands.

And they think we're weird. Luna thought, shaking her head as she waited to cross the drive way so the muggle could get out. They gave her another creeped out look as all Luna could do was smirk. It was times like these when she actually felt superior, comparing it to being made fun of back when. Just wait till those students could look at her now. A worker for the Order. Amazing. Even though she still cried at times over Ronald Weasley's death, she had soon recovered, fearing to have even a slight crush on anyone.

Luna finally reached the front door covered with peeling paint and the silver serpent doorknocker. She ignored knocking the door and waltzed right in, looking around the old home. The walls covered with paints of green, a true Slytherin family those blacks were...she started hanging her jackets on the coat hanger, covering almost the whole poor wooden thing.

Luna gave a sigh as she walked towards the old kitchen, maybe to make herself something to eat, seeing no one was here yet. Or so it seemed.
