"No." She answered stubbornly as she crossed her arms even tighter. I'ts not like hes gonna just slide down on top of me She thought quickly to herself. Or would he?

She rolled off the side of the slide just in time for him to miss her. "Ow!" She yelped as her elbows dug into the wood chips. "You twit!" She yelled as she rolled over onto her back.

He slid off the slide and sat next to her. "I told you to move, Miss Stubborn." He shrugged and brushed a wood chip out of her hair.

"I was there first!" She responded, not even recognizing how childish it sounded untill it had slipped through her lips. She pushed herself up into a sitting position and brushed the wood chips off her elbows.

"But what if I dont care?" She asked snottily as she pushed herself up off the ground, watching him roll around in the chips like a dog. She tried her hardest to keep the smile that wanted to cross her lips inside. Of course she really did care, but that was besides the point.

She shrugged his comment off and made her way over to the swings once more. She plopped down on one and began to swing.
