Innonence

[Sarah Night]

Sarah strolled gloomily out the doors of the castle. The day was growing late. She had just finished dinner and felt the urge for fresh air to come about her. She walked down the path towards the lake thinking heavily about what had happened. How would she go about explaining this to her mother? She was dening her innonence. How was she to prove worthy now? Honestly she didn't want to prove anything to her. She would't understand anything. Dad has her so wrapped around his finger and oblevious of anything she would't understand, she would just hide behind the truth of it as father taught her to do so well. she complimplated on the matter.

She was nearing the lake. She couls see the darkness shining. She loved the mystery of hte lake, and all the creatures that lies in its depths of it. She could see the sun setting. She reached in her bag feeling to make sure her invisiblity cloak was there in case she didn't make it back before darkness set in. Sarah sat down with her legs stretched out only feet away from the lake. She let out a sigh as she watched the stillness of it still secretly hoping to see what was living feet below the surface of the lake itself.

[Jared Eaton]

Jared walked out to the lake at night, watching the water ripple in the moonlight, the trees casting silvery shadows on the dew in the grass. He spotted a solitary figure ahead of him, and walked closer slowly, enjoying the chance to be completely alone.

[Sarah Night]

Sarah had been sitting there for about thirty minutes now. She was past curfew but didn't really care. She was to busy enjoying the senary of the lake with the moon glistening apon it. Think Sarah, think. There has to be away around this. There just has to be. she kept saying to herself. She was usualy very gifted at finding things to get her around the nessary task. She layed back on the ground staring at the stars as she kept thinking of ideas.

[Jared Eaton]

Jared whistled to her once he was close enough to see she was a Slytherin, he didn't want to startle her, for she didn't seem to be paying attention to her surroundings.

[Sarah Night]

Sarah heared a noisy. She sat back up and looked around. She saw a boy heading her way. She turned too look at him grabbing for her cloak just in case he was a prefect and not wanting to be in trouble. She then noticed no badge of athority and released her grip. "Hi." she said in her evenly toned voice.

[Jared Eaton]

"Hello," He answered back evenly.

[Sarah Night]

She reconized his voice. "Jared?" she asked him. "You scared me. I thought I was about to be busted for curfew." she said to him relived that it was a Slytherin boy she knew of.

((I figured we already knew each other since same house and you've been here for a while.))

[Jared Eaton]

He laughed too. "Nope. If you're caught, then I am too." He kicked at a clump of dirt on the ground. "Nice night, eh?"

[Sarah Night]

"Yes it is a beautiful night. Something about the moon's reflection on the lake is breath taking." she said softly. She was still sarounded byt thoughts consuming her mind. She looked at him. "Here sit." she said gesturing on the ground next to her.

He sat down next to her, picking up a pebble and tossing it into the lake, so it sent ripples out in circles from where it landed. He didn't speak, figuring Sarah probably wanted time alone to think, and he almost felt like he was intruding. I'll leave soon, he told himself.

[Sarah Night]

Sarah watched him toss the rock out onto the lake as she wraped up her thoughts on the matter. She looked at him and smiled slightly. "So, how's you summer being?" she asked him.

[Jared Eaton]

"My summer? Meh..." He made a noncommittal noise in his throat. "Nothing big. Yours?"

[Sarah Night]

"Ah, Dad and mum were away on buisness, and you know what kind I'm sure." she said talking about for the Dark Lord. "I spent it at my Aunts house playin Quidditch with her many kids. Thats about it." she said. "It went by really fast though." she added. Granted nothing real excited happened this summer, but it was better than working all summer with her parents.

[Jared Eaton]

"Yeah, I was around my kid sisters, so it gets kinda lame sometimes...I'm not complaining though."

[Sarah Night]

"Yeah well I'm lucky enought to be an only child." she told him. "So it was somewhat interesting going to my Aunts, since she has six childeren. Fiver boys and one girl." she smirked. "Ages seven to eighteen."
