The widow of Raymond Caine, Colombian-born Detective Yelina Salas now finds herself in the awkward situation of working Homicide with her brother-in-law Horatio and his CSIs. Aware of Horatio's attraction to her, Salas often tries to steer him toward spending more time with her and her son, Raymond Jr., but Horatio always insists on keeping his distance.
