Title: GSR
Description: Grissom/Sara ship
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 19, 2006 11:30 PM (GMT)
I'm a GSR shipper ( like the idea of Grissom and Sara as a relationship on the show). I know not everyone agrees... that's why there are opportunities for anyone to start threads here.
I'll post more about my musings later, just wanted to get something started.
PHLLCORE - March 21, 2006 08:37 AM (GMT)
Even though I doubt it will happen since they are both so stubborn, I like this idea as well. Even my husband makes cat-scratching sounds when a woman on the show hits on Grissom then says Sara will get mad!!!!!!!!!
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 21, 2006 08:56 AM (GMT)
Heh! I love how she gets territorial / feisty when it comes to him and other women flirting. If you notice on the show, he gets the same way whenever she laughs at one of Nick's or Greg's jokes, or flirts with David, too.
And yeah, if they'd just learn to bend a little... have a little more patience. Especially on her part, with the patience thing, since she should know by now you can't ask Griss a question and expect him to have an instant response. He doesn't rehearse potential convo's in his head like we women often do. Get a clue, Sara!
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 21, 2006 09:40 AM (GMT)
I'm in GSR heaven... lol.. I just found a GSR video site, here's the link.
http://csithenightshift.tripod.com/musicvideos.html
Snicker4ever06 - March 21, 2006 06:03 PM (GMT)
Here's another GSR video site. This pains me to write.
Search all three pages for this one. It's a message board so they're scttered throughout. The persnon who amde them are amazing. I suggest you watch all of them not just the GSR's. Especially the Hero one. I was almost in tears watching that.
GSR videos and misc. This site only has GSR videos.
More GSR videosHope you like. I will now go watch my collection of Snicker videos to make me happy again.
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 21, 2006 10:09 PM (GMT)
Aww... {{{hugs}}} thank you SO much, Emily!
I'll be sure to check those out.
And I've downloaded quite a few Snicker videos, too. Please, post those links, too. ( in the Snicker thread, of course, lol )
You're too sweet.
AgentBooth - March 24, 2006 04:11 AM (GMT)
B) I'm totally into GSR. I just wish Grissom would get a clue sometime soon. Did anyone else read in that old TV guide about the episode where Greg, Grissom and Sara go out of town on a case? It sounded good, but I'm not sure if they're still doing it. Any word?
Snicker4ever06 - March 24, 2006 04:26 AM (GMT)
That was the Gum Drops eppy. William was supposed to be it but unfotunatly he had a family emergency and could not be in the eppy...so George stepped in. There was supposed to be a scene in which Sara and Grissom finally sleep together. They were actually going to have Nick sleep with Sara after they found out that William could not be there, but alas they did not. Stupid writers. I would have taped that eppy and watched it over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
Gah I JUST got back. I left my house around 5:30 pm and am just getting back. First I went to the mall and got my hair done. Then we went to Kohl's which was like fifteen minutes away from the mall. So we shopped for like two hours. Everything was all fine and dandy. We went to dinner. The food was great. I almost fell asleepin my pasta I was so tired, but all in all it was a successful day. So ater dinner all Iw anted to do was go home and get on the internet say hi, by the way "Hi", so we are approaching our exit and you won't believe what was sitting in my way to dreamalnd, a damn tractortrailer. It had loss control split in half, I mean the trailer actually split in half, and they wouldn't let us through. So we had to go thirty minutes out of our way to get to the other exit.
So everyone, how was your day?
AgentBooth - March 24, 2006 04:41 AM (GMT)
Oh, I see. Thanks for the info. ^_^
I hope they still do an episode with her and Grissom. B)
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 24, 2006 05:05 AM (GMT)
Sorry you had a rough day, Emily.
And I SO Wish they'd been able to just push the filming of that episode back so William could be there. Damnit!
Yeah, AgentBooth, I have the TV Guide magazine where Jorja was doing a short interview about it.
Question :: Weren't Sara and Grissom supposed to have had something to smile about earlier this season?
Jorja :: Episode 5 had us in a hotel room in bed together. It was really surprising. But that episode evolved into one wiht Nick solving a big case [because Peterson was unavailable when it filmed].
Question :: Do you think you'll ever get back to that scene?
Jorja :: The Grissom and Sara storyline is not over. It will get revisited. I'm inclined to think it will be this year. Because I'm a romantic at heart, I'd like to see something. From time to time I get asked by fans when Sara and Grissom are going to do it.
There're more to the article, but that was the part about the Grissom/ Sara thing.
And yes, Grissom would have to finally be able to face his emotional side, and Sara is going to have to stop always being so defensive about everything Griss says / does or doesn't say/do. She can't always be launching verbal assaults on him and then walking away, leaving him speechless and stunned. There's got to be some common ground somewhere. They're both judgemental people, even if Grissom tries to pretend he's not and tries to pretend he's "openminded" to everything. He judges her more harshly than most anyone else. So some lowering of walls probably has to happen.
On a side note, about Nick, it sure would be nice to see him be able to date someone who adores him who doesn't end up DEAD, like the woman in the first season did. He really needs someone. Poor guy.
Snicker4ever06 - March 24, 2006 05:12 AM (GMT)
A friend of mine from IMDb had her letter published in TV Guide.
Here's what it said:
Crazy for a Fox
The ground you felt shaking just now wasn't an earthquake, it was me hitting the floor as I opened my mailbox and found Jorja Fox in your February 27 issue! Jorja is the reason many of us watch CSI and having attention finally paid to her makes us fans very happy.
That's not the whole letter but Yay for Moe. You have no idea how excited this got all of us jorja fans on IMDb.
AgentBooth - March 24, 2006 05:15 AM (GMT)
I suppose they both need to get a grip on this whole relationship thing. But at least Sara has been trying a little harder. Now there's a little bit of GSR in every episode it seems. Just "subtle" stuff like "Don't you know gray hair can be very attractive" ^_^
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 24, 2006 05:16 AM (GMT)
Cool! Yeah, I thought it was cool they did an article about her. Good pics in it, too.
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 24, 2006 05:17 AM (GMT)
Yeah, and the whole "Butterflied" thing that happened, really jolted them both, especially his admissions when he didn't know she was listening in.
Why do you think, besides the obvious "the writers want to string us along", that Grissom and Sara haven't gotten much closer to common ground all this time?
Snicker4ever06 - March 24, 2006 05:22 AM (GMT)
Duh. Isn't it obvious. They are going to either have Nick and Sara get together or they'll have me and Nick get together and Sara will go with Shane. Duh. <_<
AgentBooth - March 24, 2006 05:27 AM (GMT)
I sort of have doubt on the whole Sara/Nick thing, personally. I think they kind of see eachother in a sort of brother/sister relationship. As for Grissom and Sara, I think they haven't gotten any closer because Grissom is such a recluse that I think he sees the possibilities, but he's afraid to act on them for fear of rejection...
Just my opinion.
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 24, 2006 05:28 AM (GMT)
Shane?
And yeah... Nick is nice... I'll take Grissom, you can have Nick.
Snicker4ever06 - March 24, 2006 05:31 AM (GMT)
Shane's a kid on IMDb that is madly in love with Jorja. I have decided that I will get George and I will let Wildrew and Shane fight over Jorja. Jen you can have Grissom and Moe can have Conrad.
AgentBooth - March 24, 2006 05:31 AM (GMT)
I'll take Booth! ...Wait, wrong show.
Who is this Shane you speak of?
Edit: Nevermind.

Nick and Sara have always been extremely competitive. I've always gotten a fraternal ( brother sister) vibe about them, too, but that's partly because I see chemistry between her and Griss. Snicker people see the chemistry between Nick and Sara, but not with her and Grissom. I think it has something to do with who you like better personally, Grissom or Nick. I could be wrong, though.
Some Snickers I've read articles by have said that they don't know if Sara and Nick would ever work, but they just think they look good together, since they're both around the same age and are attractive.
Yes, I agree that Grissom's reclusive nature, or as Catherine referred to it, his hermetically sealed condo-living, is probably a major roadblock to him wanting to enter into a relationship with anyone.
Which, while we're on the subject, I didn't see the first episode that Lady Heather was in. what's the deal with that? So many people think he and Lady Heather would make a good match. Yes, I know, we should probably technically talk about this in the Grissom thread, but oh well, sometimes threads take on a life of their own.
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 24, 2006 05:33 AM (GMT)
Conrad? lmao.. I love how everone hates Ecklie. Hey... that sounds like the name of a show... "Everyone hates Ecklie."
AgentBooth - March 24, 2006 05:34 AM (GMT)
I didn't really get the whole Lady Heather thing either, but even William Petersen thinks it's awesome. Go figure. They seem like polar opposites to me. But hey, maybe it's like they say: opposites attract? -_-
Snicker4ever06 - March 24, 2006 05:39 AM (GMT)
It's true Moe is really in love Marc Vann who plays Conrad Ecklie.
Here's a very good explanation for why us Snickers are Snickers.
Why we are Snickers.Everything that this person said is SOOOOOOOOO true for most of the Snickers out there.
AgentBooth - March 24, 2006 05:44 AM (GMT)
I think you might have linked to the wrong page...those are just news bulletins for the site. :ph43r:
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 24, 2006 05:47 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I've been on that site. "Butter that Toast". Nice Snicker site. Lots of great videos, etc, and clips from the show.
I visited it trying to understand the whole Snicker thing, and I'm actually still trying, but second on my list of 'ships would be Nick and Sara anyway.
Lady Heather... she's.. mysterious, I suppose. I got the impression Grissom was a bit afraid of her after that most recent episode with her in it, though, where she had sex with the guy who killed her daughter just so she could get a dNa sample.
Maybe he's attracted to the potentially dangerous/ very passionate type. I don't like the idea of him being with LH at all, though, personally. Talk about career suicide. That would be bad. :behead:
Snicker4ever06 - March 24, 2006 05:48 AM (GMT)
Sorry. I can't get to it right now. Just go back to the site and look at the navigation and click COUPLE then click CONNECTION and it will give you the explanation.
AgentBooth - March 24, 2006 05:52 AM (GMT)
Grissom seems to like the more dominant females. I actually have a TV Guide where Petersen was talking about the Lady Heather/Grissom relationship. I'll type it up for you all tomorrow. But for tonight, I must go.
Goodnight, and have a pleasant tomorrow,
-AgentBooth
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 24, 2006 05:54 AM (GMT)
Ok, cool, when you type it up, make sure to put it in the Grissom folder, or we'll get confused. Good night. :)
Illeana - March 24, 2006 10:17 AM (GMT)
I am a big shipper of GSR.
I would love to see them go into their relationship a little more. Perhaps an episode where one or the other is trouble and the other finds/helps them...then they will kiss
awwww
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 24, 2006 08:20 PM (GMT)
:kiss2:
and quite possibly this... :luv:
AgentBooth - March 26, 2006 12:41 AM (GMT)
-_- My fangirlishness is confusing me...I'm loving how the writers are keeping the viewers in 'suspense' of whether it will work or not, but I so want them to get together too!
Please, writers! Go one way or the other! My brain hurts!
Here's how it should go down:
Grissom and Sara: :kiss2:
Me:  B)
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 26, 2006 01:01 AM (GMT)
YES! Me too! Very good point, I like some tension, but come ONNNNN... Sara and Gil should at least get to have some kind of ability to find some common ground. Because they used to be able to make each other SMILE... I'd sure like to see that again. I don't need a full-on Grissom-Sidle wedding party, but jeeeeshhh... throw us a freakin' BONE here!
AgentBooth - March 26, 2006 01:32 AM (GMT)
I'm so torn when it comes to that. :P I SO love the tension...but like you said, throw us a bone! You can't make us wait forever, writers! GSR-ers of the world will form an alliance and take control of the CSI set to make them do whatever we want if you don't write some good GSR material soon!
This would be a perfect time to post that "you've not seen the last of me" owl picture....
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 26, 2006 01:45 AM (GMT)
 yeah, it would.
And yeah, that's all I'm asking.... I mean... Sara was standing outside the interrogation room in "Butterflied" when Grissom admitted that he cared about her, probably wanted a relationship with her, but "couldn't" risk all he'd worked for in order to "have her". Yet we've never seen them talk about that, that I know of anyway. That was huge... and I was almost thinking that after that, Sara had given up on him and had moved on, but I don't think she has. I have to hold onto hope. I'm a hopeless romantic.
AgentBooth - March 26, 2006 01:48 AM (GMT)
Yeah, they better bring up "Butterflied" sometime soon. I was pretty much floored when I saw that. Grissom opened up for like, the first time in forever. I've actually been looking for that video online for awhile...using it for a music video. -_-
I'm leaving for a bit to watch Angel, be back soon.
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 26, 2006 01:57 AM (GMT)
I don't have any clips from that show, but in a lot of GSR videos, people use parts of it. I wish I had a way to get my own video clips, but I don't have a DVR or a TiVo.
And yes, the events of that episode rocked his world, and hers, too. Brilliantly written and acted, but unfortunately, I haven't seen anything about it come up since.
AgentBooth - March 26, 2006 07:55 PM (GMT)
Well hopefully there will be something soon. "Butterflied" is drama GOLD. Way to go, writers.
I really really hope they still do that hotel one....
Illeana - March 27, 2006 08:10 AM (GMT)
GSR is the best
I loving watching them two on the screen. The little glances and the knowing looks.
all very subtle and blink and you would miss them moments.
I just hope that the writers do not rush it, as much as i want to see it happen.
the suspense and the will they won't they stuff is exciting.
CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 27, 2006 08:16 AM (GMT)
True, the suspense is good. Question, do you guys think Sara and Grissom have a so-called non-verbal "truce" going on at this present time? Like they're avoiding any possible contact or conversations that might lead to deeper conversations?
Might be just me getting that vibe.

Definately.
there is an unspoken word between them, has been since Inviable Evidence when she asked him to 'pin her down'
