Wellll... so here's where we talk about the much anticipated episode of CSI. Was it what you were thinking it would be? What do you predict for the outcome of the second part, to air next week, on 5-18-06?

Ok, I'll start. As with all two parters, which drive me nuts, the action is very slow during the first hour. I really wish CSI and CBS would just air both parts together.

That having been said, I thought it was a very good episode. Since I'd read spoilers and had studied the clue picture until I'd gone cross-eyed more than a few times, I had already guessed that Brass was going to get shot. So that part wasn't a surprise. The way they build up to it confused me a little, mostly because the two brothers looked almost identical.

My favorite part was where Grissom was telling Doc Robbins about the girl he asked to marry him when he was "younger". :D

Warrick's fight with Tina was interesting... and had a nice twist.

*sigh* I'm going to just go ... I don't know what... waiting for next week's episode!!

well don't even get me started!!!!! do you think the way the neon sign in the pic that says "play" and then turns to "dead" with the magnifyer meant the guy (i forget which one he was) that shot brass was "playing" him about his brother being "dead." or do you think that it means we will think someone will be dead when they really aren't??? HMMMM.... also. The clips they have shown for the finale, i didn't see the part where Warrick says "Gun!" yet and Nick hasn't found the severed head. so next week should be very very interesting. I plan on watching this weeks a few more times... Hopefully, Sofia will appear in the final ep. But all in all it was a decent episode. Not as edgy as last season's because I didn't even throw a remote control this year (yet.) But that could be because my husband took them all away from me..... Oh well...

 about the remote throwing reference. I'd hope Sofia would be in next week's episode, yes.

And about the playing dead part, who knows, could be either of those scenarios.

I've read some stuff on Talk CSI, nothing really stood out for me over there ( nothing really does in their show discussions except for how strict their moderator is... .telling people not to post so much... give me a break... I might have to break down and ask her sometime who died and made her Conrad Ecklie... ) , but people were discussing that if Brass leaves, Sofia would naturally take his place.

See the "CSI Episode Guide" in the Affiliates drop down menu at the top of the site for the synopsis for next week's episode.

My take on last night's episode:

1. The Acting
Personally, I thought the acting for this episode was wonderful. The guy that played Willie looked VERY familiar...does anyone know what he was from? I also loved the scene where Grissom was doing that oldschool test on the blood. Very cool. He's my favorite. B)

2. The General Episode:
Although this story is a very compelling one, I found myself glancing at the clock quite a few times wondering if "the shooting" was even going to be in this half of the episode, and it seemed to drag on a little bit. But maybe that's just my sugar-fueled ADD. :P Overall, it was a very good episode.

3. The Shooting
All I have to say about that is: AW! They can't kill Brass! I love him! He's a big teddy bear. Now who would kill off a teddy bear?....

I'll join you in some appreciate squeeing and be happy for you GSR fans.

*falls over laughing at "who made her Conrad Ecklie* You are FUNNY!!!

I don't notice it quite as much on the NY board and except for one annoying poster who never finds anything good, I like the discussions there. Also the roleplays on the fanfic board and squeeing in the Mac/Stella ship thread.
