Title: Favorite CSI Character
Description: vote now!

CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 23, 2006 08:58 PM (GMT)
Please vote for you favorite character on CSI : Crime Scene Investigation. I know it's hard to pick just one... at least for me it is.

by the way, anyone can start a poll, it's really simple. Right next to the button that says "New Topic" is one that says "New Poll". It's pretty self explanatory from there. When entering your poll choices in the white box, enter them just like this, then go to the drop down menu and choose the number of choices you have.

Gil Grissom
Catherine Willows
Sara Sidle
Nick Stokes
Warrick Brown
Greg Sanders
Jim Brass
Sofia Curtis
Dr. Albert Robbins

Then I chose Multi-Choice (9)

That's all there really is to it. :chinese:

PHLLCORE - March 24, 2006 08:04 PM (GMT)

Cool! B)

AgentBooth - March 25, 2006 02:09 AM (GMT)
I gotta go with Grissom. He's a cool, well-rounded guy, and as geeky as it is to say it, he's sort of my hero. ^_^ I hope I'm as sharp as that someday...

And yes, I know he is fictional.

CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 25, 2006 03:14 AM (GMT)
Yes, but he's alive to us fans. I love Grissom, seriously.

He's old enough to be my father, but... hey... I'm 32, I'm allowed to think graying hair is sexy. :heartthrob:

AgentBooth - March 25, 2006 05:43 PM (GMT)
You're 32? Dude, I thought you were like, 18.

I have a friend who is like, obsessed with Grissom...it's actually kind of creepy. She's always going on about how hot he is...and I just nod, smile, and pretend I know what's going on.

CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 25, 2006 10:10 PM (GMT)
lmao... I'll take that as a compliment.

I don't go on and on about how "hot" he is, but I find him very handsome and am intrigued with him. Sometimes in love, sometimes, I'd just like to grab him by the shoulders and try to shake some sense into him, especially regarding his feelings for Sara. Grr... he's aggravating sometimes! I don't completely blame her for getting pissed at him when he's arrogant and patronizing.

AgentBooth - March 25, 2006 10:20 PM (GMT)
He can be a little clueless and cold sometimes...he desperately needs a social life to get him back into the swing of things. In other words, he needs more SARA!

/GSR post.

CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 25, 2006 10:25 PM (GMT)
YES, my sentiments EXACTLY!

Thank you, someone else who actually agrees with me.

I've have to argue my case all the time at other boards about the whole GSR thing. I mean, so what that they're not the same age, etc. They just both need to chill a little. Sara needs to be a little more compassionate, not always barraging him with verbal assaults, then walking away when he doesn't say something right that second, and he needs to get a clue... a real life clue, not just a forensic clue, lol.

MacBooth - March 28, 2006 05:39 AM (GMT)

I unfortunately don't have a LV fave...Mac Taylor's my favorite but he's NY.

CSI_Bones_FanGirl - March 28, 2006 05:47 AM (GMT)
With your help, Mel, I might be able to add a NY section. :)

Necrophila.Americana - March 30, 2006 12:39 AM (GMT)
Sara Sidle, but Grissom comes in a close second. They're both heroes to me.
:afro:

CSI_Bones_FanGirl - April 2, 2006 09:28 AM (GMT)
Me too, Lia!

Doesn't that smiley just crack you up and make you think of Warrick?

ROFL. It does remind me of warrick.

SSGeekLove - April 6, 2006 12:19 AM (GMT)
Sara's my favorite 'cause she's strong and determined. And well.......She's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

CSI_Bones_FanGirl - April 6, 2006 08:05 AM (GMT)
She IS determined, that's for sure. I'd hate to get on her bad side. *shudder*

Illeana - April 6, 2006 01:43 PM (GMT)
Grissom. I think he is hot and he has such a dry sense of humour.

Sara is joint second with Cath.

CSI_Bones_FanGirl - April 6, 2006 09:20 PM (GMT)
I love your banners, Illeana!

Agreed, Grissom is hot. In an older man sophisticated and intellectual kind of way. He's so intense. Can you imagine what it would be like to know him?

Steelwolf - April 11, 2006 09:49 AM (GMT)
Grissom.

He is my favorite for much the same reason I like House, Becker and Monk. He is quirky and doesn't fit the mold of the leading man like Hollywood so often paints them.

Classic example: early season when he tosses mannequins off a roof to compare how they fall depending on push, fall or jump. Someone, Sara I think, comments that they have these things called computers which do this now and he replies with something like "Yeah but I like my way"

PHLLCORE - April 11, 2006 10:12 AM (GMT)
yeah, Nice episode!!!!!

My thoughts exactly. In a way, guys like House and Grissom remind me of myself. I like to break away from the ordinary and do my own thing. They're just both so...so...for lack of a better word, "cool". I think that's what truly draws in fans to Grissom and House: They remind people of themselves, but it's a way they would never act themselves in fear of not fitting in with society. But obviously, House and Grissom "broke out of the mold" . B)

CSI_Bones_FanGirl - May 3, 2006 06:12 AM (GMT)
Very good points, you guys! That's true, must be the reason we are drawn to these guys. Can you imagine a crossover case where Grissom, Monk, and House had to work together? That would be interesting, to say the least.

LadyDetective - May 20, 2006 01:43 AM (GMT)
It's almost cruel to make me even try to pick! Sara's my all-time favorite, but Warrick and Nick are just soooooooooo hot, and then I love all of Brass's snarks and Sophia has really started to grow on me and :police: ...... help me!

LadyDetective - June 28, 2006 05:36 AM (GMT)
Sara is literally my role model. She's strong, intelligent, and doesn't take sh*t form anybody. And we both have diastema, which I used to get a bit of teasing for in elementary school. But I am suprised that nobody has voted for Warrick! He is another really great character. :afro: And yes, this does remind me of Warrick. *insert fangirl-ish giggle here*

Snicker4ever06 - June 28, 2006 05:50 AM (GMT)
I have diastema but mine beats all of yours probably. I can fit my whole tongue through mine. I was called field goal, field plow, tunnel mouth, and a whole bunch of other names.

Ok yah back on topic. I think I already posted in here but hey. So yah Sara rocks. She has been my favorite since the first time I ever saw CSI on the first airing of it on Spike TV. She's just so strong and Jorja plays her so well. Jorja was a fabtastic person for this role because Jorja does not fit the typical Hollywood female role. She's not rail thin, she doesn't plaster on makeup, and she just does not talk like she's this big star. She's down to Earth and you can relate to her. Jorja brongs all that into her role as Sara. Most of Sara's views are Jorja's views. It's nice to see at least on Hollywood actress who has her head on staright.

Claire - August 2, 2006 07:12 PM (GMT)
I agree, I love Sara and I love Jorja Fox. She's been in so many of my favourite shows, I can't help but love her. But, in this instance I have to go with Grissom. I adore him. He's just so fantastic! His sense of humour, all his insecruities and that smile he has, just makes you want to hug him  And all that without mentioning the awesome way he is portrayed by William Petersen :worship:

dontcallmeBones - August 7, 2006 11:12 AM (GMT)
I had to go for Sara  but Grissom's definitely a close second. What i've found with this show, though, unlike many others, is that the entire main cast are just so amazing and likeable - not an annoying one in the bunch! :)

stormchild03 - September 15, 2006 12:48 AM (GMT)
Greg - 'cause he's so funny and has great hair!

unaBella - October 21, 2006 06:08 PM (GMT)
I voted for Gil cuz he is just soooo......... ahem.

starbuck1974 - November 4, 2006 10:31 AM (GMT)
That is a tough choice, for me its between Sara and Grissom. In the end I decided to vote for Grissom because he is so cool and smart. I love his interaction with the team, especially with Sara. William Petersen is a great guy

Next week Season 6 is starting and I am really looking forward how Sara and Grissom are progressing. I think they have a lot in common and from all of them I believe these two understand each other better then anyone understands them.
