Suggestions for improvements to site

Well as per your email Jen, I thought I would stop the topic off. Actually had been thinking about this just the other night. Not about the whole missing stuff thing, but more about certain topics not really being "forum" stuff and more of a "database" thing. Right now the FF website is one big forum, which may be due to the host. Some allow full websites, some only cater to forums, and I am not personally familiar with invisionfree and what all they handle.

I was just thinking that if it were more like a traditional site, with a navigation bar etc. then we could have links for Episodes and their summary, allowing comments to be made on those pages, linking to the forum. More importantly to me however, we could have personal biography pages for the cast members. I mean everything on them. Be much easier to locate through a navigation bar than through digging into forums.

Okay first of all, I don't think this site is such a drama I kinda like it liek this. But If you feel you need to change something than I'll see what I can do to tell you what I think is missing.

This is what I think is true. I resally think that's a good idea.
Maybe we could also have some sort of uhm, link towards other sites that we have a Bones or CSI connection with. It would be much easier to do that on sides or on an apart page than down at the bottom, it was kinda hard for me to find them.

Still I think forensic Files is a great site and I wouldn't change all too much about it.

Well another thing that having different sections on the website would help is the load time per page. If you had a section of the website, outside of the forum, dedicated to hosting the videos, then they would not have to load on the main page every time you came to the site. Same with links as Tempe pointed out, plus easier to find anything when organized appropriately.

Don't get me wrong. Love the site as it is, or else I wouldn't be here, but you asked. And when asked about how to improve anything html or computer based...well ask TJ, I can go on and on. lol.

Thank you soooo much for the feedback. It really does mean a lot to me.

Bentley, you're one of the smartest guys I know. So I take your specific ideas very seriously. But I don't think Invisionfree offers what you're suggesting. And there's so much that I already have here, that if I switched services, that would probably cost me much dinero to transfer all that we've accomplished here. I'm open to more suggestions, though, if you can think of any way I can get around all that.

And Tempe, you mentioned links to other websites. I do have affiliates drop down menus at the very top of the main page of the site, though they may need to be updated a little.

Basically, according to the administrator control panel, I've just about run out of space for more coding, which means I'm limited as far as what I can add to the site. In other words, so I don't just sound like a squint talking here, that means that I've added all that invisionfree will allow as far as "extras".

However, like Bentley was saying, I know there are sites where you can have a main page and where the forum can just be a part of that. However, I don't know that much about how to set that up, or if there are any sites similar that will interface with invisionfree. *sigh*
