Fall Greetings to Forensic Files Members!

As always, I sincerely hope that this letter finds all of you doing very well during this change of seasons, no matter what part of the world you are in.

‘Forensic Files’ is the website I created in honor of “BONES”, “CSI”, ( and all of the other shows that I don’t have room enough to list here, lol ), Dr. Kathy Reichs, without whom there wouldn’t even be a Dr. Temperance Brennan or the Novels, of course, real-life forensic sciences and law enforcement and pretty much any other thing peeps who joined wanted to talk about. It’s been a great success, I love visiting it and working on it, and above all, could not have done it or kept it going without the help of all of you guys! ( also, as always, if you have forgotten your screenname, feel free to e-mail me at temperance206@msn.com or you can always just make up a new one, either way works ).

I wish I could list all of the names of the peeps who have helped me through the years, but I’m in college and I have too many ‘Fundamentals of Chemistry’ formulas in my brain from this summer… I could list those… NaCl, H2O2, HCl, CN ( ooh, don’t get me started on that one, I did my term paper on that… cyanide…bitter almonds anyone? ok, I’ll stop, lol ) By the way, you guys will be proud of me… I’m actually taking Physical Anthropology this fall! That’s B O N E S! ( no, I’m not bragging, this is just a huge accomplishment for me to even be signed up. )

Anyway, Season Premieres abound of our favorite shows! Forensic Files needs a wwitttle help, since my issues have kept me away. My friends, my ex, and my counselor know what some of those are… ugh, but to get us into the mood to have a sense of humor and post a little and say hi to each other, I got an idea. I’ll start by telling you all a few things I’m a little ‘ashamed’ of here. Heh. Ok, here goes.

Hmm, I really am not a shallow person, but I have to admit, I am majorly crushing on the lead actor guy on the credit dot com commercials. *blush* omg. I even looked him up online and found his website. LOL His name is Eric Violette. French. Cute. Ok I’m done. Moving on…

Another confession. I don’t hate CSI: Miami’s Horatio’s “sunglasses move” anymore. It makes me laugh. And how can that really be such a bad thing?

Confession #3. I kinda got hooked on “Operation Repo” on Tru TV this summer, even though I know it’s not “real”. My favorite character is Linda. ( sigh and eye roll at myself ).

Sad confession #4. I still miss Zack. Zacaroni. Dr. Addy. Sorry, I just still think that there’s a huge hole/ void in the lab at the Jeffersonian that can’t be filled. However, at least Dr. Jack Hodgins can still pay homage to him with the ‘king of the lab’ comments. Heh.

Oh, and confession #5. Big Brother. Yes, I watched. I rooted for Michelle, the neuroscientist. Thought she was kewl!

And last but not least, my confession #6. I really DO love the fact that I can still “visit” Forensic Files, and it’s like, well, as dorky or lame as it sounds, “home”. I have felt, literally like a refugee the last handful of years because of circumstances in my personal life. But because of the friends I have made online, the friends I have made IRL, my family, and a lotta love from up above, I am still here. Still breathing. And still thankful.

Hope you all are, too. That would be the best blessing of all.
