The Bulletin Board The main board is a place where you can post out of character, debate topics, and get to know one another. Any posts made here will -not- go towards your overall post count because they aren't in character. Have fun. :)

Reception Hall Twelve-foot tall swinging glass doors separate the Academy from the outside world, providing a transparent, yet tangible barrier that seems to plunge all of its noise into sudden silence. Crossing the threshold into the large, polished reception hall makes a person feel as if they've entered another reality entirely... one fresh with new possibilities and amazing discoveries.
All new students must make this the first stop on their journey. Older students are encouraged to greet their new peers and assist them in getting comfortable and familiar with their new environment.

Classrooms Grab your paper and pens! Your textbooks, laptops and historical scrolls! Students - class is in session.
The outer rim of the Academy is a virtual catacomb of winding hallways and classrooms, resembling more university than preperatory academy. Though the halls can get confusing, each room is helpfully numbered, and any member of the Student Council will certainly help you if you get lost. In all likelyhood, even your peers will be more than happy to lend a hand!

Dormitories Four Points Academy is a boarding school, and its students' living quarters are divided by gender. The dorms are wide and spacious, with comfortable living spaces, small private kitchens, separate showers, and each dorm has its own hearth.
Students are free to decorate their own rooms as they wish (within reason), provided their bunk-mates don't object to the style. Be courteous! You'll be spending a lot of time together.

Cafeteria & Student Lounge This is the Academy's communal dining hall and lounge, a place where the students can come together for meals and to socialize once all their work is through. Sit at the long glass tables near the kitchens, or climb the stairs to flop down on a large, comfortable sofa in the lounge. Play a round of pool or foozball. Enjoy your off-time.

Library This large, cozy, well-furnished section of the Academy houses the school's massive literary collection. The quiet, tome-filled corridors can serve as a restful sanctuary for the more book-y types, or a useful resource for those looking to improve their grades or finish that bothersome assignment.
A cautionary note - the Academy library is haunted by several well-meaning but often mischevious spooks. Keep an eye open, or they may cause some rather interesting predicaments that are bound to annoy more than endear. Forum Led by: Branwen |

Garden & Conservatory In the very center of the school building there is a gigantic glass room, its ceilings stretching roughly fourty feet high in a multi-paned dome that filters light down to the dirt floor and it's cobbled pathways. Filled with a fantastic array of rich foliage, tall trees, ponds packed with colorful fish, and a wide array of birds and butterflies this space is utterly captivating.
The multiple stone-sided paths that cut through it are dotted with benches to rest at, and there are several dispensers that offer food for the birds if you drop in a quarter. Please utilize the garbage recepticles, and don't feed the birds or fish anything but what's provided by the dispensers.

Swimming Pool The climate here is quite warm, and nothing's nicer on a hot day than taking a cool dip in the Academy's Olympic sized pool. Open from 5:30am until 10am when it closes for classes, it opens again at 1pm for the general student body and stays that way until 10 o'clock at night. Spread out a towel, slap on some sunscreen, and go for a dip! The deep end even features a tall spiral waterslide and diving board!

Back Field & Temple Ruins The Academy owns many, many acres of thick forest and rolling grassland, occassionally dotted with the remanants of long ago structures. For the most part, these are just clumps of stone worn almost right down to the earth, a scattering of jagged rocks, or the occassional lone pillar, jutting up into the sky and looking very out of place. However, in the very back section of the grounds a large Roman temple stands, its beaten, weathered and crumbling exterior whispering of the glory days of a once massive Empire.
Nearly completely overgrown and concealed by uncounted varieties of vines and creepers, the temple sits silent and noble in its decay. During the day some students wonder off to 'oooh' and 'ahhh' at its magnificence, but no one recommends vernturing there at night...

The Village of Kalloni A small, sea-side settlement populated mostly by merchants, it has a few good shops, a solid fish market, and a handfull of reputable pubs. If you're staying a while, you can find one or two Inns, as well - just watch what side of town you book your room in.
The Academy has several field-trips a year in which students are taken into the Village, and its inhabitants are more than happy for the added income their presence provides their stores and restaurants.

Weihburough Manor Hidden within the Temple Ruins lies a shimmering portal that transports those who cross it to the other side of the world. One moment they stand on the rich and fertile soil of the Academy grounds, and the next they're transported to a cliffside in a city called Victoria, where a large, well-tended Manor sits next to the gnashing jaws of the Pacific Ocean.
