Friendly Fire Clan Constitution

Clan Structure

The clan has the following structure:

* Overlords : who are the public interface for the clan. There are only ever three Overlords.
* Generals : who are senior clan members, and together with the Overlords, decide clan policy. There can be any number of Generals.
* Soldiers : clan members.

Voting

When voting is required, then the following applies:

* Only Overlords and Generals are eligible to vote.
* Abstentions are not permitted.
* Motions are only passed with a majority vote of 66% in favour (i.e. two thirds). This is to ensure that there is broad clan approval for any motion.
* There can only be at most two Overlords or Generals who do not vote at any one time e.g. due to holidays etc.
* In the event of insufficient votes, then the motion will be voted on by the Overlords, with a simple majority winning and no abstentions.

New Members

New clan members will be admitted via the following process:

* Submit a friends request to one of the Overlords, and put a post in the non-clan member section of the forum as friends requests out of the blue are likely to be rejected or
* The person is recommended for membership by an Overlord or General.
* Join the clan on two open nights.
* There will then be a vote on the person's membership.
* The result of the vote will be communicated via an Overlord.

Membership Revocation / Grievance Procedure

* Send details of the complaint to one of the Overlords.
* Issue will be discussed by the Overlords and Generals.
* Any votes taken will be according to the rules above.
* The outcome will be passed back.

Leaving The Clan

When a person wishes to leave the clan:

* Inform an Overlord, who will then inform the rest of the clan.
* The leaver will be removed from any clan activities such as GamesBattles.
