Tickle Party!, at Nyperold and Sue's place

(OOC: Well, here's hoping maybe one post can make a difference...)

Sue sighed. The 11-year-old meerkat found herself in the unusual position of being bored. She walked up to her big brother, Nyperold.

"Nyper, I'm bored."

He looked at her. "What about our video games?"

"Beat 'em all. With 100%."

"Movies?"

"Watched 'em all. Even the special features."

"Books?"

"As bored as I am? I'll fall asleep by the end of the first chapter."

Nyperold grinned and wiggled his fingers at her. "Would you like a good tickling?"

Sue giggled a bit. "Maybe, but not by you for a little while." When Nyperold looked at her strangely, she was quick to add. "Oh, don't get me wrong, you're still my favorite tickler... it's just that you've been my only tickler for some time now, and I want some different fingers making me laugh."

Nyperold smiled, understanding. "Then you probably also want somebody else's tickle spots to wiggle your fingertips against."

Sue nodded. "Uh-huh."

Nyperold thought for a bit. "Ah, I know, I'll dash off an email to all our friends, inviting them here for a tickle party. How does that sound?"

The young meerkat grinned. "Great!"

In the wall, a little mouse in overalls peeked out. Having overheard their plans, she longed to attend, but didn't want to just crash their party. If she wasn't explicitly invited, she would just hide in her hole as always. But this sounded like such fun! Problem was, she was almost painfully shy, and had never spoken to either of the meerkats. She was so busy debating with herself that she almost didn't notice herself speak.

"Can I come, too?"

Immediately, she clasped her paws over her mouth. Maybe they wouldn't have heard her, and she could just duck back into her hole and continue her quiet, but somewhat lonesome, existence.

The older meerkat eliminated that possibility by almost immediately turning his head and fixing his eyes on her. Part of her wanted to run, but a slightly larger part of her figured it was to late anyway, and that she should just go with it. He approached her and bent down. Her little heart was thumping as he reached out a left paw... palm up. She looked at it, then at his face. He smiled warmly at her and nodded. His display of gentle friendliness melted her shyness a bit, and she felt herself carefully stepping onto his finger and walking to his paw, which raised up with his face.

"So, who are you?"

"M-Maureen, sir."

"Well, nice to meet you, Maureen. I'm Nyperold, but you can call me Ny, Nyp, or Nyper. And this," he said as the younger meerkat walked over to his side, "is Sue, my little sister." He bent down and kissed the top of Sue's head.

Sue waved and smiled. "Hi!"

"H-hi," smiled Maureen, still a little nervous about meeting new people.

"So," asked Nyperold, "what was that you said just a bit ago?"

Maureen blushed a bit and nearly blanked, but summoned her courage and asked again, "C-can I come, too?"

Nyperold thought a bit. "To the tickle party? Sure! You like to be tickled?"

Maureen blushed and nodded. "Y-yes, I do. B-but it's only been family who's tickled me, a-and I've always been afraid of talking to bigger people, s-so I've never asked them to."

"Well, hopefully, you'll get plenty of opportunity. How about tickling people?"

"J-just my family. I-I'm always afraid I'll be kicked, swatted, or squished if I tickle bigger people."

Nyperold grinned. "It's a good thing you live here. Neither of us fight being tickled. We just lie back or sit back and enjoy it. As for others... we'll figure something out."

Maureen nodded. After a bit of a pause, Nyperold said, "I'd better compose and send the email, or there won't be much of a party! I'm glad to have met you, Maureen."

Maureen blushed again. "You, too, Nyper, Sue.

Nyperold let her get off at the floor, where she headed to the hole. Before she went through, though, Nyperold spoke again. "Oh! I almost forgot. Is your belly one of the spots you like you have tickled?"

Maureen nodded vigorously.

"Then, do you have something to wear that lets it show?"

Maureen nodded again, and pantomimed swimming.

"Ah, perfect. Well, see you at the party, then!"

Maureen nodded, and turned back, entering the hole. Nyperold headed over to his computer and composed his email.

Satisfied, he hit "Send".

The next day, from 1 PM to about 1:30, the three got washed up. Nyperold wore his usual sneakers, while Sue wore a pink two-piece. Maureen peeked out of her hole, then shyly emerged in her black two-piece. Nyperold lay on the floor on his belly, propping his head on his hands to get a better look. Maureen did a little pose. "S-so how do I look?"

"Aww, you look adorable. I like that cute little bellybutton of yours."

Maureen blushed and giggled.

"What say we wait for our guests over on the couch?"

"O-okay."

He let her ride on his hand again, and set her on his leg as he sat down to wait.

Wade rang the doorbell, wondering what may come of all this. He had gotten the e-mail last night, sure, but in his experience, what was written never really shed light on what would actually happen. He nervously re-adjusted the bag on his shoulder and waited patiently for someone to come to the door.

Nyperold walked to the door. "Hmm, that must be our first guest." He opened it. "Hey, Wade! Come on in!" He motioned to Maureen. "The mouse over there is Maureen. We just discovered her yesterday, actually." Maureen waved shyly.

Wade nodded, and waved back at Maureen. He noticed Maureen and Sue both in swimsuits. "Think it'd be good for me to change?" he asked, setting his bag down.
His bag was partially open, and a little feather blew out of it upon impact with the ground. He opened it a bit further and pulled out a pair of swim trunks. "I trust you won't mind if I do," he said, quickly ducking into the bathroom.
He re-emerged a few minutes later, all changed into his trunks. "So, uh, who's tickling around here?" he asked as he sat down on the couch. Though visibly nervous, he subconsciously was looking forward to whatever may happen..

"Well," responded Nyperold, "Sue'll tickle anyone... I'm not into tickling guys, myself... Maureen, how about you?"

"I-I guess I'll tickle anyone, too," she said, "But I'd like to be tickled sometimes, as well." "Me too," agreed Sue.

"Well, I'm always open to anything, expected or not," Wade said.
He looked down at Maureen. "Well, I'm sure you'd probably be good at tickling," he said, giving her belly a gentle poke, "At a size like yours, you probably know all the sensitive spots on a person." He chuckled and lifted her up on his palm.

Maureen grinned sheepishly. "T-to tell you the truth," she responded, "I've only ever tickled my mom, dad, brothers, sisters, and other family and same-sized friends. I-I'll have to figure out how to tickle a bigger person... though I do know the spots."

Wade chuckled. "Oh, well, no better time to learn than now," he said, laying down on the couch and setting Maureen on his tummy.

Maureen thought for a bit, and grasped a couple of tufts of fur before wiggling the tip of her tail against his belly.
