School Updates:

Now that the basics of the school store are finished, I'd like to have any ideas of things to add to the chool store.

Things Planned To Be Added:
*DONE!*-A part of the Money CP where you can browse all the items that are up for sale, and buy them with the click of a button.

*DONE!*-A way for someone to remove an item that they have put up for sale themselves.

Things That Cannot Be Added As Of Now, And Why:
-Anything that involves the uploading of files from your computer. My host, Ripway, does not have file uploading enabled.

Things That Have Already Been Added Since The Topic Was Created:
-An option when viewing anyone's profile to donate some of your money to them.

-A way to change the price of an item you have put up for sale.

-When viewing a person's profile, right above the Donate option it shows their current money balance.

-In the For Sale list, right under the item name/seller/price, the item ID for that item is shown in BOLD. This way, if you forget the Item ID of an item you want to change the price of or remove, you can just look in the For Sale list for the item's ID.

-When putting an item, you may now specify a quantity. If you enter 0 or leave it blank (or enter a non-number), the item will have unlimited stock. If yu enter a number greater than 0, then after that many people buy your item, it will be automatically removed. I will work on editing the quantity of your items ASAP, but ASAP might be tomorrow or the day after.

-I have added the top 5 richest members above the forums. Lookie there, I'm number one ATM .

-Now, in the Item List, clicking a seller's name shows their profile in the list IFRAME.

-*NEW* Underneath the "List Items For Sale" section of the Money CP, you may now click a button to list all items that have been bought from you, by which member, and when (In GMT time/date). As I just added it, the earliest items listed will be from August 11, 2005 at 2:00 PM EST.

Well, OOP is one thing what is very interesting aspect.

Huh? Doesn't OOP mean Object-Oriented-Programming? If so, I'm a little confused as how that relates to this....

Sorry to break my own rules and double-post, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew that the "List Items" section of the money CP has been added! You can now click "List All Items For Sale", and you will instantly get a scrollable list of items people have put up for sale, along with the price, seller, and the description of the item! Underneath each item is a button that you can click to instantly buy that item from the seller !

*EDIT* I just realized that this removes the need for advertising your products in this forum, so I guess this forum will only be for suggestions and future updates for/to the store ! Also, lke the new pig icon? The code for it (if you're like me and you don't like clicking it) is the following: :@ ) without the space.

*EDIT2* OK, now you can remove an item from the For Sale list by entering it's Item ID and clicking "Remove". You can only remove it if you are the same person who put it up for sale. Otherwise, it will tell you that "you do not have permission to remove this item". So don't even waste your time trying to remove someone else's things

change portal to money cp or store (when you are in the portal there is no way to get to the board unless you click on search or members)

Portal is supposed to be chaged to Money CP, but some browsers do not support the change of text in the page. For those browsers/settings, there is no way to fix it. And when you are in the Money CP, just click on the Game Maker School logog at the top to come back to the board index.

How bout you can change the price on your items if you want.

Have a button that allows you to leave the store.

I might just do that.

*EDIT* OK, I added a price change option at the bottom of the Money CP.

You can do that now. Just click the UGMS logo at the top of the store (the same one that's at the top of the forums). It will bring you back to the main page.

You need to show the item ID next to the item for sale. It is kind of hard to change the price on an item you don't know the ID of.

Sorry for all this double posting, but I guess in this case it is a good thing. On the member's profile you should put the total amount of money they have. That way someone who wants to donate money to a poor person can see which people are poor.

When you first put an item up for sale, it says "Your item ID is:" That's the ID you use. And about the

I think that if you are selling something you should be able to post a screenshot or a picture of what you are selling.

Well, I think that could be done, but the picture can't be from your computer. It would have to be uploaded first and the URL given. But that should work... I'm a little busy right now, but when I get the chance, I'll see what I can do.

Make so that when you first buy a item, then the will pay of it, but later, when you want to buy the same thing, then the money is not taken. And make a new panel, where you can see the items you have bought. Did you made it with mysql?
