With a groan Locas sat back, instinctively biting down on the soft wood of the pencil he held in his hand. With so little to do at the moment Locas had thought it was a brilliant idea to head down to Eternal's hanger and review the ship's weapons and mobile suits.
Unfortunantly Locas hadn't realized that he'd spend the next three days sifting through code, eating instant foods, and sleeping at his work station just off the hanger. The trick, he began to notice, was reviewing the ship's weapons without taking them offline; an idea which had occured to him once he realized that Eternal could launch at any time.
With a sigh Locas leaned back on his chair and realized why some of the crew had laughed at him. With such extensive inner working the ship's blueprint and electronical blueprints couldn't even be viewed on a computer screen and instead Locas had several large papers sprawled across his table.
On the plus side he had found several small point on which he could improve. For on Locas had been able to completely remove a safety circuit from Eternal's engine rooms, though a sound idea a circuit which was backed up three times would probabley be destroyed before it overloaded. That move on top of several others seemed as though Eternal might be able to coax just a bit more speed out of her engines, in the short term it didn't mean much but over time Eternal would be sure to outrun almost anything in the vastness of space.
Standing up with a yawn and a stretch Locas began rolling up the papers one at a time, storing them in a large drawer nearby. Resigned to the fate he had chosen Locas buttoned up his uniform and headed out to the hanger, wondering if there was something else that might need to be done.
