What are your favorite mobile suits?

Despite the vast number of mobile suits... we all have the ones we hold more dear than the rest.
So.. what are your favorites?

Personally, I like RX78(of course), God Gundam, Turn A, Hyaku Shiki and the classic Zaku II best.. pretty standard favorites, but I have a thing for hero mobile suits. And welll... >< Zakus are just too damned cute. Hyaku Shiki just kicks ass though.

RX-78-2, God Gundam, Turn A/X, hm... Zaku II yes. I like the Geymark if only for its sheer "Overkill" factor.

The Gelgoog Jager is pretty sweet looking as well.

I'm a fan of the Messela, but pretty much all of the Scirocco built line.

Wing Gundam Ver. Ka, for sheer looks factor.

Crossbone Gundam X-3, for sheer bad ass factor

My favorite mobile suit is prolly the Zaku II and first gundam. Other favorites include God Gundam and Turn A Gundam... actually, I loved 100% of the designs from Turn A gundam... which is fdairly obvious, since I'm connected to that series... LMAO. Oh well. I actually love most mobile suits... most of my favorites are from 0079, though. I also adore the zeta Gundam designs, and Zaft designs. What the hell, I just love robots in general.

There are a fair number of suits that I think stand out, but if one stands out above the rest it would be the Zaft Gouf . It has sustained flight capabilities, and a good array of built in weapons, not to mention any weapons it happens to carry.

If I could IMPROVE upon the design though, I know exactly what I'd do.

First things first, it's going nuclear; I need power for everything else. Next up would be an outer armor coating of some type; phase shift, or mirage colloid, or if possible, anti-beam coating; one or more of those three depending on what's availible. Once those two obvious upgrade are out of the way...

First, I'd replace the shield with the multipurpose MX2002 shield off Infinite Justice, but with the beam boomerang modified to also serve as a cannon (similiar to the GCUE Deep Arms); the standard gouf sword would still be mounted on clips underneath the shield. Secondly, waist grenade mounts from the Zaku. Third, I'd add mount points for jettisonable fuel tanks on the flight pack.

Finally, I'd make the backpack mount points compatable with force silhouettes and wizard packs. I like the default flight pack, but if you need extra firepower it doesn't bring anything to the fight.

In short, it would become something similiar to the Infinite Justice, but with a Gouf's profile instead of a Gundam. It would have, in the configuration I described above: 8 beam cannons (4 per arm), a beam cannon/boomerang/blade, grapple, beam shield, beam sword, heat rod, 4 grenades, and whatever weaponry the suit carries by hand or in a backpack.




My second pick is the Dreissen . Let's face it... arm mounted beam weapons are just cool.

For me, if it's Gelgoog, it's all good.

I got a few favorites that some people might call a bit odd in choice. Gm sniper II , Bawoo , Jegan , and finally the epyon.

I have a slight liking to the gouf ignited and the strike dagger.

Qubeley and GPO2A always have stuck as my favorites even as time has passed.

But I dig Balls just because of their ineffective awesomeness.

How about the allmight awesome that is Guntank?

Come to think of it, Guntank tends to be overlooked in discussions of Mobile Suits. I think it should get an unsung hero award.

Guntank does deserve recognition. In F vs. Z, it was a friggin' god to me, even after getting the Gundam and all the other stuff. Quick reloading and highly powerful ballistics owned even the Big Zam...

Anyhows, if you count Gundams, then my favorite is the V2 Assault Buster *points to sig*. Next is Wing Zero since it was my first favorite Gundam *points to avatar*. Also, Zeta Gundam for it's Sword of Rage and Waverider Crash, followed by the Ex-S Gundam. Lastly, the GP-04G Gerbera, which I discovered in Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space. Others include the Crossbone X3 and the Gundam Double X for it's powerful Satellite Cannon.

If you add MSs in, then sadly, the ZAFT MSs are included, save for the amphibious ones. Those are ugly as anything... That and I like the Re-GZ (technically not a Gundam) and also the Oldsmobile Army's RF MSs. However, none of them can compare to the Centurio and it's variants. Above all though, my favorite is the Tria, which can beat any Gundam or MS, including Devil Gundam. I'm sure that Omegalordmaxwell knows about Tria and it's awesomeness...

One of the Zaku Is from 08Th MS team.. Can't remember it was rather cool looking.
Oh and I like the Zaku I with the GM Heavy Shield lol funny as hell XD

I third it.
I think Guntank is my favorite. I don't really care to make favorites based on merit here. This is purely based on how much something makes me laugh, and well, Guntank really makes me giggle for a multitude of reasons.
It's a toss up between the Guntank and the Scooty-Puff (Only Max and Ran understands this...everyone else is more than free to ignore this post. In fact, it's for the best it's forgotten)
