Installing Plugins in psp
Ok because most plug ins were designed to work with adobe photoshop we first need to add a few extra dll files to your computer.
I've loaded these
HEREYou'll need an unzipping program if you don't have windows xp Zip genuis is a free download you can get it
HEREPlease unzip the dll file and place in the contents in the correct file as detailed below.
Windows 98 ~~ unzip into your C:\Windows\System folder
Windows ME ~~ unzip the Plugin.dll into your C:\Windows folder AND into your plugins folder. Unzip the Msvcrt10.dll into your C:\Windows\System folder.
Windows 2000 ~~ unzip into your C:\WINNT\System32 folder
Windows XP ~~ unzip into your C:\Windows\System32 folder.
ok now your dll's are in place I want you to go to your documents file and make a file and name it plugins (original i know lol)
The reason I have gotten you to make a new folder outside of psp is so when you add all the plugins it doesn't slow psp down too much.
Open psp now so we can tell it where to find your plug in folder.
Click File - Preferences - file Locations.
A new window will pop up and on the left click plugins and on the right click add then browse for your new plugins folder that you made.
Click ok then close psp.
Ok now for some plugins there are plenty of freeware plugins available
xero, toadies, simple are all one I use loads and eyecandy 3 is now free to download. Also Flaming pear have a free plugin now called primus which is worth getting.
When you download them, unzip then into your plugins folder.
open psp and your plugins should be available under effects - plugins
Thats it! Any questions please ask.
