Alright, here's the deal. You have to be a student, 5th year or older, and only 2 (one boy and one girl) for each year per house. So each house can have up to 6 prefects. If you're interested, fill out the following form:

Leslie Kent
6th Year
Les is quiet and studious. She enjoys reading and playing the guitar. She generally gets along with people, and while she's not the most popular person on the planet, she does have a few friends. She does well in her classes. She doesn't always obey all the rules, but she's a pretty good person nevertheless.

[Mick Phanan]

Mick Phanan
6th year
Mick excels in most of his studies, is a well-known and fairly popular member of the Slytherin Quidditch team, has never sent a member of his own House to the Hospital Wing, and comes from a family that has made generous financial donations to the school. He tends to play the straight man to most of the other Slytherin boys in his year, who break the rules more often than he does. However, being a Slytherin he is far from a boy scout.

[Lena Lacy]

Lena Lacy

7th

Lena has always been a cut above the rest. She rarely studies because she is so smart and all the teachers think she's just wonderful. She's also an accomplished witch and quite a skilled fighter, but she only displays that in the classroom by her excepional skills in learning magic and executing charms.

She is also a chaser on the Ravenclaw quidditch team who is going to lead her house to victory by scoring more points than any chaser in the history of Hogwarts

[Mandos Fiedor]

(Lena, the Quidditch Applications thread states you as a Beater... not sure anymore if that's right or not, though. If you want Chaser, discuss it with the other three Chasers -- if you're PMing people, PM Tawnos Fiedor on Jason's account -- and see if one of them is willing to switch with you.)

Mandos Fiedor
6th year

It was inevitable that Mandos would become a Prefect... always known for his intelligence and wisdom, he is often compared to a young Albus Dumbledore. Students often seek his guidance on various matters, and he excels in all his classes (even the difficult ones like Divination and History of Magic).

He has also played Keeper for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team for the past two years, and has become known as a brilliant defensive strategist on the Quidditch Pitch (and a brilliant strategist in general by people who have been soundly beaten by him at Wizard's Chess).

[Alvin Pairis]

Name: Alvin Pairis
Year: 6th
Give a brief description of your personality and life at Hogwarts: What Muggles would call a Hall Monitor type, Alvin is always interfering with other students' attempts to get into trouble. Because of this, he's a natural choice for Prefect. People who like him compare him to Percy Weasley -- people who don't like him do the same, but with less admiration in their voices. He is, however, dedicated to Gryffindor House, and even recently joined the Quidditch team.

[Acacia Webb]

Name: Acacia Webb
Year: 6th
Give a brief description of your personality and life at Hogwarts: Acacia is laid back, and rarely gets stressed. For this reason she makes an excellent disciplinarian, as she doesn't allow her feeling to cloud the matter. She never picks fights, and this makes her quite easy going, which means people are more likely to listen to her. She's clever, so wouldn't have any problems losing lots of time to do prefect duty. Additionally, she's very reliable, and everyone can feel secure that she won't use her powers to any negative extent.

[Tawnie Hart]

Name: Tawnie Hart
Year: 6th
Give a brief description of your personality and life at Hogwarts: Tawnie is the daughter of an important Ministry worker, excels in all her classes (and on the Quidditch Pitch), and is often less inclined to break the rules than other Gryffindors. She is also very friendly and easy to talk to. Her father was a Prefect when he was a Hogwarts student.

[Summit Rookwood]

Name: Summit Rookwood
Year: 5th
Give a brief description of your personality and life at Hogwarts: An overachiever, Summit always has to prove how good she is at everything. This has led to her scoring top grades for the past three years, and rapidly becoming an excellent Quidditch player (she was bumped up from reserve Chaser to starting Chaser this year). The excellent grades have, inadvertently, led to her being considered for Prefect status. Summit is known to have a lot of boyfriends, and in fact has a reputation -- particularly among those who don't like her -- for being a slut, but it is unknown how this might affect her Prefect duties.
