Ok guys,

8 players, playing three rounds over Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

GENERAL RULE:

Barbarian Factions Only:
Germania
Britannia
Gaul
Dacia
Scythia

Rules:
Max 8 cavalry
Max 8 same unit
No Onagers

Money:
25k

Format:
1v1, Best of 3, Attacker picks faction first, In a tie score the person who attacked in the first game attacks again.

Deployment Restrictions:
NO PLAYER can deploy more than half the distance from the front red line.

Grassy Flatland

Cash Prize is $30. Immortals have preference in joining tournament first. Then "friends", then everyone else.

Time to play each round will be determined by me but most likely

Sunday 8 pm GMT

Ok, I am updating the list as we speak. There seems to be a wide interest, but I am getting friends in first.

Ok, guys, Friday 10pm GMT is the first round.

By the way, if no one else here is interested anymore, we will get the players from the lobby. Should be fun!!!

Based on the little chat in the lobby today, even more people said that they will be there. I will just take the first four and we are good to go.

Also, I will have to update the first round to Saturday 10-11 pm GMT. I forgot that I am still at work on Friday at 10pm GMT and there is no way in hell I would ask my European friends to wake up that early.

Saturday 11pm GMT we will start. One of you will be $30 richer!!!

I would like to do this but the times are not the best for me for Sat and Sun. I will try and be on so if you need me great if not no worries.

There is no such thing for a man to waste money on alcohol. Man Law.

Winter Raids update...

The tournament started unexpectedly. The following people took part in the morning session:

Acunal of TAoW
Ahy of TAoW
Zeno of Immortals
Zurin of Immortals
Jomen
Steel General of Sith

The pairing were these:

Acunal vs Zeno
Ahy vs Zurin
Jomen vs Steel General

Results turned out to be surprising decisive wins in all matches:

Acunal defeated Zeno 2-0 (Brits, Germans vs German, Brits)
Zurin defeated Ahy 2-0 (Germans, Scythians vs Brits, Dacians)
Jomen defeated Steel General 2-0 (Germans, Gauls vs Gauls, Brits)

In the evening two of the missing players showed up and I decided to allow them their match

Result was a bit more complex:
Smead (Germans) defeated Tah as (Brits), but was defeated in the second game (Dacians vs Gauls). He was unwilling to play the last deciding game and left the lobby. Tah advances due to forfeiture.

So, if Tah makes it tomorrow at 20 GMT and no later than that, then then he will face Zurin to make sure there are no possible (Immortal only finals), while Jomen will take on Acunal. If Tah doesn't make it tomorrow at 20 GMT, then Zurin will begin the round robin with his match against Jomen first. He will then play Acunal. Then Acunal will play Jomen in the last match. The player with the most wins will be the winner of the Winter Raids!!! and receive the booty of 300,000 denarii or $30.

P.S. If I am not there at 20gmt start your games. Save ALL REPLAYS in case of disputes and make sure you remember the rules.

Also, THERE IS NO WATCHING OF GAMES allowed in the ROUND ROBIN, unless it is me or Gaius, and that's only to ensure that there is a third party opinion.
