Welcome! If you are thinking about registering to become a member with us, please follow these steps:

1. Read all the information in this section. If you disagree with all or most, or maybe even any of it, please be aware that this is probably not the board for you.

2. If you still wish to register, please click on the "Register" link near the name "Guest" at the top of the page.

3. Enter the information asked for in the form.

4. Either post an introduction here, or send an e-mail to Idontdateforum@gmail.com with the following information:
a) Your username, if an e-mail
b) Your real name, unless your parents do not wish you to give it out over the internet, in which case say so
c) How long you have a Christian
d) How you found this board
e) Some general facts about yourself

5. If you do not have a friend who is already a member and has referred her to IDD, she must present us with a reference letter affirming that she is who she makes herself out to be. This letter can come from just about anyone of authority, including a pastor or elder, the moderator or administrator of another forum or even a well known respected blogger, someone that we can easily investigate. I.E. Natalie Nyquist Klein, Jennie Chancey, Crystal Paine, or someone from Girltalk, Boundless, etc. One stipulation: it must be emailed directly to us from the person of authority himself. The e-mail address to use is Idontdateforum@gmail.com.

We are serious about security here, and we have very specific guidelines about who is allowed to become a regular member of our board. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, but please be courteous

6. Wait for us to validate you. This could take some time. we try to validate people within a week of their posting an intro/sending me an e-mail, but this does not always happen. If it is taking a really long time, e-mail us again, or mention it in your thread. We've probably just been distracted.

7. Be advised if you do not post within 4 weeks of approval your account will be deleted.

Finally, if you are a) NOT CHRISTIAN b) NOT A GIRL c) NOT 13 OR OVER please DO NOT register as you will not be approved. Thank you!

Hi this is Monica. I just talked to you recently, like a week ago, Maureen.

If you look on my registration, you will see that my email address matches up.

And I was a member of this board before, but I didn't rejoin when it switched sites. I would like to rejoin now and see what you all are talking about. smile.gif

I've been a Christian since 40 days after birth.

I am serious about piano.

Hi, my name is Kristi (username kristaline). I have been a christian since I was five years old. I am now 27, happily married, and with a testimony of not dating and waiting on God to send His best. I have a heart to encourage other girls who are also waiting on the Lord in this area. I actually found out about this site from a friend of mine who is, I believe, a member and a dedicated christian girl.
I was homeschooled K-12, now am a mother of 2 and a homemaker, planning on homeschooling when my children are old enough.

Hi! My name is Rachel. I am 16yrs old.
I accepted Jesus as my savoir when I was three. My sister Hisgirl21 told me about this board. I think she has been on this board for a few years. She talks about being an IDDiot quite a bit. I really wanted to join the board after meeting in person JoyfulSongs and QueenFrosty a couple weeks ago.

I love Jesus with all of my heart.
I read quite a bit.
I enjoy sign language.
I have terrible allergies.
I just got my drivers license
And the obvious…
I Don’t Date!

Hello,

Just wanted to introduce myself and respond to the q's Maureen had listed for newcomers.

First of all, I want to make it known to everyone that I will NOT be on here every single day. At the most, I will be on here every three days, but my goal is once a week. Please keep in mind that I do not fathom friendships more than family relationships!

My name is Christina, daughter of John and Shawn, and I will be 21 in November. I am the oldest at home, as my older brother (nearly 26) is married. My younger siblings are: Melody (17), Faith (15), John (14), James (11-1/2), Abigail (8-1/2) and Joshua (Joshi - 5-1/2).

I grew up in a "typical" Christian home, when we were church-going folk but our hearts were not easily moved. Daddy had been an alcoholic before he was saved some ten years before he and Mother married, and Mother was raised Catholic and had passed from man to man in such a horrible way.

When I was 4, I recall Daddy led me to pray the sinner's prayer, but nothing much changed in my life. At ten, I realized the need to rededicate my life to Christ, and did so but my heart was still shallow-like.

When I was 12, my older brother was forced from home and God made a *major* surgery within our family. I was thrown (as were my sisters and parents) in to the arms of our Precious Saviour and learned the manners of dignity and modesty as I had never known before.

My parents realized their need to fall into His arms as well and seek His face as never they had. Sooo, to make a long story short, we have gone through hard times, yes, but are all the better for it -- even though we suffered such pain as I can never do justice to describe.

I have had my own share as well. In January of '05, I distinctly heard the Lord's voice telling me not to hesitate and GO to India as a missionary - which had been my dream for some five years previous. The doors continued to open each step I chose to trust my Lord for what He was doing in and through me. In April of this year, I returned as a long-term missionary but immediately, the Lord began to prepare me for what was to be in a short three months. Little did I know, when I boarded the plane headed for South India, that I would be returning to Home sweet Home in as little as three months!

My time there was a battle between homesickness and standing on my own two feet, which I had never done before -- meaning, I never lived by myself before.

But that's just how our Lord works: mysteriously. Oh, but I love Him for it!! My plans for now are to attend nursing school at our local community college next year, while at present, I am working on a few novels for completion to sell as e-books and self-publish.

Anyway, that's me. I didn't mean to make this thing a book in itself, but I guess it won't hurt. Sorry if it's too long, Maureen! ill.gif

God's blessings!

Hi, I'm Sarah. My username is Harper4him, I think. I have grown up in a Christian family, so I don't know when exactly I became a believer. I am sixteen years old and found this place through a link on someone's blog. Now, general information. I play the harp, if you didn't already guess. I love to read. I love to knit and tat and quill and cross-stitch.
