Singing groups section, interested?

Hmm... sounds good. At least I won't have to write my own songs... lol. But I still can't choose... so yeah. lol. I'll leave it as a... maybe.

Well...we currently have a little less than 100 members who are actually somewhat active in this forum...of those, only 12 people have voted and expressed any interest in the section. And not all of those want to participate. We'll see how many votes we have by the end of the week, and decide then whether or not to open the section based on the number of votes and/or replies we get in this topic. ^^ We don't have a number in mind right now, but we're hoping that there will be enough members interested in the section to keep it active if we do open it. ^^

how about if we dont get enough people who seem interested in the idea but there are still some that want to try the idea out? where do we post any of our singing clips?

i've been wanting th post singing clips myself but i never was really sure WHERE to post it exactly.. T.T

We'll announce that once we've come to a decision about whether or not to open the singing groups section. ^^ Please be patient and we'll let you know the results as soon we figure them out ourselves.

If you're really eager to post your singing clips, you can open a topic for yourself in the "Get Creative" section for now. ^^

don't worry.. ^^ all of you will go through auditions and stuff like that... depending on the band starter.. *wondering if i make any sense here* so everyone has a equal chance.. ^^

Sweet, so it's like Kiseki Dream idol kind of... like American Idol, Canandian Idol etc etc. But for a band... lol. Cool.

not really... how do i explain it?
basically someone wants to set up a band... and he/she starts a topic and makes a audition...
members who join and pass the audition joins the group...
and when the band is formed, they discuss what song to sing and stuff like that...
then they can start coming out their own "album" or "single"...
it's not a competition like american idol.. don't take it the wrong way

is it ok to be soloists and do collaborations or duets with other soloists/groups?

Oh well... auditions... kind of what I mean... o.o we should have a competition though... that would be cool... lol anyways, sounds good. Ah sure, I'll participate then lol

if you just want to sing solo, you can post your singing in get creative section... you can post your recordings in there if you're singing solo...
as for duet with another soloist... you can discuss it with that soloist... and then if you want, put it up in get creative section too..

as for duet with the groups... the group gets to decide whether they want a special guest to sing with them.. and then post in the singing group section...

i hope i didn't make it too confusing.. ^^
