Read that, and then ask any questions you still have.

i dont get this part:
<!--#include file="textfilename.txt" -->
and this:
Do that to all of your pages. So, if you want to update the Navigation bar with something new, simply edit the navigation.txt file instead of all of the pages.

So let's say we have something like this:

CODE
<html>
<body>
<a href="#">Whatever</a>
<a href="#">Whatever</a>
<a href="#">Whatever</a>
<a href="#">Whatever</a>

The content.
</body>
</html>

If we want to put the "whatever" links in a seperate file, cut out the links and put them in a new document (for our example, the document is titled "links"):

CODE
<a href="#">Whatever</a>
<a href="#">Whatever</a>
<a href="#">Whatever</a>
<a href="#">Whatever</a>

Then, we just slap on the include code on the original document:

CODE
]<html>
<body>
<!--#include file="links.txt" -->

The content.
</body>
</html>

...You just click "Add a Page" or whatever it was on the Freewebs Website Manager...

In any other case, neither. I think it works with .html/.htm on Freewebs, though. Try it.

I'm pretty sure SSI only works with ".shtml"...
