Hi, Best of luck and good wishes with your site.
I am the Editor (Grand title for Gerneral Factotum) of a group for individual modellers in any scale. Started in the Sussex/Surrey area and now covering London, the SE and some other parts we have a monthly Newsletter. Hence my title.
Our group has modellers in many scales and gauges, all the layouts are reasonably small, can live in a house WITH the family and not just sit in a room of tehir own.
Some of us exhibit, I have seven show layouts and another on the way. Most are identifiable as being "boxed" in a standard 2m x 1ft box; some with and some without fiddle yards.
We also have a web site, though we have a "dedicated" (volunteered) web master. The site may usually be found on www.wrgrail.gp.btinternet.co.ukWealden Railway Group. It gives some idea of what and why we are about.
Hope the site goes well. Speaking for my self, I enjoy modelling in HO (British and German, plus US), TT (Berlinnerbahn); On30 Loft empire (US Vermont-ish), OO see Iceni Cement and lastly, playing trains around the garden on 7 1/4" gauge home made line ((6ft radius corners included) think large scale Hornby O Tin Plate!)
