I got the Gameboy the 1989 version which you should know is the big grey box that need four AA batterys and was not in color. This was my first and I loved playing it even though I didn't have many games for it at the time. Here the list in order of the systems I got

1. Gameboy
2. N64
3. Snes
4. Nes
5. Gamecube
6. GBA Sp
7. DS

I also have a GB color and I never got the V-Boy.

Sweet, my first nintendo system was the Game boy too. It was exactly like your except it was red.

So that means it was a gameboy color or pocket since the 1989 GB only came in grey I think if not I never knew they came in different colors. Heres a pic of my GameBoy
